Makoto Ogawa, Erika Tonooka share the stage in "Momoiro Shoten e Youkoso"

Former Morning Musume member Makoto Ogawa (22) and Idoling!!! member Erika Tonooka (18) will co-star in a stage version of Pon Watanabe's popular manga "Momoiro Shoten e Youkoso." This will be Tonooka's first time acting in a play.

The story revolves around an ordinary young woman (Ogawa) who is suddenly appointed as the manager of a bookstore and struggles to deal with her customers. Tonooka has been cast as her younger sister who lives with her, which is an original character created for the stage version. The play focuses on the bond between the two siblings.

"Momoiro Shoten e Youkoso" will be performed at the Theater Green in Ikebukuro from April 10 to 18, 2010.

My Makoto story: Couldn't give a goddamn fuck with 5th Generation. HOW DARE THEY ADD MORE PEOPLE!! But eventually warmed up to Takahashi's ballet routie....then Makoto, actually broke through with some Hello! Morning skits. So she ended up loud and abrasive, and she ain't exactly the prettiest of the bunch she worked hard and was ridiculed for it by the Utaban guys. Good luck Makoto in whatever acting or singing you do!! I never got that ketchup joke either

My Makoto story: The first few times I saw the PV for "The Manpower" I was overwhelmed by its constant switching in showing off each MM member, but one caught my eye and made me think, "WTF, they actually have a fat girl in this group?" Turns out that was Makoto Ogawa, and she wasn't actually fat, but her puffy cheeks combined with the PV's baggy costumes made me wonder for a bit.

I never really followed her much since then, but I do like how she was slowly being set up on Utaban to be Yasuda 2.0...until the hosts sadly decided that the newer lineups "had a weak flavor to them".
Favorite thing(s) about Makoto: Her work ethic and dedication, whether it was trying to learn English in a foreign land, participating in Kunoichi, or willing to be the new punching bag on Utaban and Mechaike.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Yossy is my all time favorite Musume, but I love Makoto - she is a great singer, and I love her comedy with Yossy. I'm glad she's back!!!!

New Poster! I love Mako so much!

My Makoto story: When I first got into Morning Musume, the Gokkies were still relatively new. I didn't really come to appreciate Mako's charming personality until she came into her own a bit more, but I've been totally hooked since Joshi Kashimashi in particular. She's topping the list of OGs I hope to meet one day.
Favourite thing(s) about Makoto: Her humor and her energy! I always love watching her perform for those reasons. She's also got a really beautiful smile, and she's a ballin' dancer.
Favourite H!P group with Makoto: SALT5! I'd actually say 3rd Gen Pucchimoni, but that never really happened, which was a bummer. :C
Favourite Makoto PB: Her first, the self-titled one. I'm especially fond of this set:

I don't remember if I've said this here before, but I actually like Makochan more now that she's graduated MM

I like that she went to New Zealand, I like that she did Ninja Warrior, etc. She even looks better, well imo at least

I'm crap at following the careers of grad members but at least hearing about Mako makes me go ^_^, lol
