Anti-gay group to boycott McDonald's.

WASHINGTON, July 4 (UPI) -- The American Family Association announced a boycott of McDonald's Corp. Thursday because of the fast-food chain's support of a gay business group.

AFA President Tim Wildmon said McDonald's had refused to end its involvement with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, The Washington Post reported. McDonald's joined the chamber several months ago and has a representative on the board of directors.

MY thoughts? Just another example of bigotry and ignorance on the part of the American Family Association.- I predict total failure. Maybe they should borrow Fred Phelp's signs and picket instead- Same bigotry as Phelps just a different method.

If the AFA wants to boycott McDicks, let them. It's not like their absence would actually be noticed. Besides, their kids whose parents are members are still likely going go end up going there (albeit secretly) anyway.
