That was diferent now, wasn't it?  Still seemed funny though, wondering if the budget for this thing is so low they can't afford jackets... :-\

Haromonia@ premiere scored a 3,7% rating, surpassing all H!M ratings this year. Actually, only two H!M episodes this year could score a 3,7% rating, with the rest scoring under 3% all time. So Haromoni@'s 3,7 is a very good percentage for a show in the midday, considering that not much people watch TV at 12.20PM, when the new show starts. It also surpassed KAT-TUN's new TV show on NTV -2,9% of rating- at 12:20AM, a time in which more people is looking the TV. Haromoni@ has been a success. That said, it's just a premiere. We will have to see if the second episode gathers as much percentage as this episode.

When I changed my avatar we only had a few seconds preview of the show. I was not even planning to see it, but that toy seemed fun. Today I finally download it and I must say I had a lot of fun with it. Watching the girls spreading cuteness all over Japan is simply the otaku dream. What else do we need? It's like a PB -Making Of- DVD but funny. You never know were will they go next next, or what's gonna happen next, or how will people react. Such an improve from the repetitive -and sometimes stupid- Hello!Morning gags towards which I developed much hate since took off many of my favorite skits and H!P members. Overall, Haromonia@ is very interesting to me. I always wished to see them fooling around more often. Thanks for this show!

PS.- Next time, let Kusumi Miracle Koharu be the first approaching the babies XD

Thanks miki!  ;D

Hitomi looked so lovely with that baby

I read some complains on the budget... As someone who works on TV I can assure you that it's more expensive, heavy and dangerous, to take out all the team, girls, crew and machines, than recording in a set where you just turn on the lights. Why do you think that before they'd just go outside not too often and just for a small segment? Outdoor shooting is far more expensive and it's a risk for a group that sells 50K of each single. As the shows go on, I am sure we will see many curious situations. I can't wait :)

It's interesting on how they approach Haromoni@, the way how the girls just go around the town seeing/searching things is interesting. At least I get to know more about Japan, in a different way.

However when watching Haromoni@ I felt like I was watching a commercial TV... it's like "oh... they are advertising these things!"
Plus I don't really like all those text they used for the girls' conversation. It's all around the screen and it's hard to follow (like should I read the captions or should I watch what they are doing???)
oh... and what the hell is that man with the "cabbage head" for??? Either than he is (I think) the CV of the king, don't show him around!
:P

Anyway hopefully there will be more different things in Haromoni@ to see!

I think this premiere show only scored a 3,7% rating because it was its premiere, so people would get curious of how the show is going to be like.
I personally didn't like the show much. In my opinion most H!M this year, if not all of them were better than this episode.
But the show needed some change right ? Well, at least it is different. Let's hope next week it will be a bit better.

This is always the case when a show gets a renewal, they need to try out more stuff to see which works the best. so i say watch it even if your eye hurts (from looking at the baby-doll) too much. At least the girls looks nice :D and Miki get to be more active.

Haromonia@ premiere scored a 3,7% rating, surpassing all H!M ratings this year.
As was previously said, it was likely just because it was the series premiere.  If this episode is how the show's going to continue, the ratings will be more like the following:
I also saw a thread that sid it only got 1.2% rating. :/

IMO, it wasn't horrible, but it WAS rather dull. At first I thought it was some scavenger hunt type thing, sort of like the "C-ute has come" series. But once it became obvious that they were just wandering randomly, yeah...snoozer. The ears were cute and all, though it's going to get really lame as a gimmick really fast. Seeing the girls spaz over food was probably the most entertaining part of the show. Well, that, and watching Sayu freak out that baby.

JPH!P 's kuro808, Fushigidane, ChrNo, Jab & marimari. Always.

Just finished the haromoni@.. it was boring.... I like hello morning more   :p

as for haromoni@ sns.. its quite impossible to get an invitation !! I want to see member's blog/pages so bad!!!

And yes, like a lot of people said, the baby king thing freaks me out.. and there is more emphasis as to the muscle dude and ice cream van and crying babies other than the girls..

this episode looked like a Japan Tour show instead of a morning musume show  :(

Well, the show was different allright, but to all of you that are badly criticizing it, may I remind you:
1- This was more of a pilot than a premiere, they are adjusting to a new format and figuring out things.
2- We may not have liked it, we may not understand what's going on, but the show is meant for a japanese audience.
So let's wait and see a few more before saying this sucks, will you?

Well, like all of us, I'm taking a wait and see approach to the new series. But it is valid to say this first episode sucked or that the loss of studio segments sucks.

One cost saving feature is the lack of writing. Some minimal planning went into the shooting, but not the sort of writing that goes into skits and such.

This compared very poorly with other out and about programs like, for instance, this week's syoujiki sindoi. Sindoi walker with becky was well planned yet spontaneous and fun to watch, albeit quite simple. I doubt it would have been enhanced by adding a stroller with an ugly puppet to push around. Which is to say that what little writing or creativity that went into hm@ was quite poor.

I was told about the 3,7% by the guy who used to post all week Oricon sales at Ikimasshoi. Later I saw the post myself. And a few moments ago, I saw the one with the 1,2%. What's wrong with 2channel? So it's 1,2%, definitely? I'll edit the news until the ratings site publishes the numbers.  ???

Yossie: 'theres NO WAY i'm wearing stripy socks and walking round town!!' so she gets the trousers :D

Pretty strange really, strange doll man and cabbage head?

Have to give it a chance. But Aichan looked like a natural pushing that chair around. But then they went and scared the hell out of some real babies, lol, best laugh in the episode IMHO.

^^ Hitomi certainly is the one to wear the pants in the family. :-)

As for kinky clothing, I doubt it's worth the bother to watch it again looking for cold hardened nipples anywhere. :-(

Cabbage guy is the sort of thing one might expect from monty python. Any explanation though would almost certainly disappoint.

I'm waiting to see whats next... Apparently one of the shows that people in hawaii like watching in japanese is "soko ga shiritai" which shows off interesting japanese places, so maybe they are trying to do that only with a minor goal (deliver things) and popular people (morning musume)... who knows maybe they'll do more stuff as it goes along (which would be cool) or maybe rotate people (viyuuden and nono perhaps?)... you never know...

Of all the things I remember I think the "number 1 cutest" moment, is when sayu wanted to play with the baby, she was trying to make it smile and it cried and didn't want her carrying then she went to the quiet baby yossie had and started asking to carry it...lol
