I think both segments seem to be more driven on the "broad spectrum appeal" factor than on the musume factor a lot of people like. The viking segments run a lot on the girls reacting to the guest of the week and using that to fuel comedic moments between the "tension" of them trying to win food. The good thing is a potential to learn some things about musume's taste and see their attitude towards wanting food verse greedy or assertive guests. The Moutube clips get more of the musume reactions and more random moments than the vikings, but based on percentage of the screen taken up by them at any time its less focus on them.

You saw 8 musume in the moutube segment?...I counted less ><...lol, well next week we'll see if anyone is missing!

I think the issue a lot of us have is after the new years episode which reminded us of times past, these newer segments are just a bit different. I still enjoy them a bit, but sometimes I feel the need for more musume time.

There is a mailing address at the end of the first moutube episode... now whether foreigners can or not would be something else... but you never know unless you try...lol, or perhaps route it to someone you know in japan and have them send it in??...lol. Either way if you got the drive to try it I don't see why you wouldn't. The first one who could get this idea realized will probably be praised for awhile.

I don't know about other place but you don't if you are in the US, you just write the address (or print it out) and then on the bottom of that you write JAPAN and they'll send it to Japan for them to put in the right mailbox. Which is why its more important to keep the japanese correct so they can find the place you want to mail it to...sorta. I've only sent fanmail once >< so I'm not sure.

But ya plan something out guys and you can put it together...lol

Man I really hope they dont cancel the show. Haromoni@ could be ok to watch sometimes, but they should also mix it with some of the old games on HelloMorning. Do some skits, some games, go around town (haromoni@) and bring some of the older generation members or H!P guests to make it more fun!. It's really not that hard.. geeeeeeeeeez. Please dont cancel the show =(

i dont think it will be cancelled, with the addition of moutube i think HM@ has improved and i bet they are thinking more ways how to make the show more interesting, maybe they just need time to make it all work in the future. ^_^ go HM@!!!

Well the ratings for the moutube episode (based on the news thread) was that it was pretty low. Which is sad!... I wish there was a way we could help, but honestly I just say if you guys got the drive to try the moutube thing do it! I mean apparently they'll take alot of stuff, so try lots of things if you need to ><.

Don't count it out till its over, HM@ going strong!

I need vids with musume in them so that I feel we get to know them :-P but thats me being selfish I guess. Next week is more Moutube! I wonder what could be coming up then!

Just curious, but does anyone know the name of the guest on this past week's (2008.01.20) ep? I know he's been on before on H!M's World Pucchi Games segment. When Akachin introduced him it sounded like it was Azuma Takehiro, can anyone verify/correct?

His name is 東貴博, aka Azuma Takahiro I believe, just ran a google double check with the japanese and it came up with stuff that looks related (azumax thing) so ya. Any reason why that you want to share?...lol.

So knowing that, Let's Review!

Kyou no Haromoni wa... MouTube Two! (aka now with added Koha and Aika!)

Set 1! (aka starting off strong!)
-Moutube today has everyone this time rather than missing two valuable members! You'll notice one section of the table is entirely blue!
-Swimming backwards and sideways, thats quite a talent, I wonder if its harder on the nose to do it that way, this video gets my approval as well as the musumes!
-Spinning orbs, now thats a cool visual talent there! what really gets me is the smoothness the person has doing it, going from four spinning to two individual and then that three floating on one. Thought it was cool.

Koharu's petite techique! (aka hey I can count fast and high in my head!)
-Koharu talent is her excellent zoned out math, I believe she was doing the abacus motions while she was doing it, meaning she's actually like those cool asian kids with abacus skills up the yingyang...lol, cool though that zoned out expression probably doesn't instill the best confidence in her...lol. funny and cut though.

set 2 (aka bring on the animals and oddities!)
-Recorder nose! that guys pretty cool, I wonder how well he could do it with instruments that only require one hand...then could he be more elaborate?
-Exercising sea life... as cute as that was the pet tricks aren't too impressive cause of how they are presented I suppose
-The posing dog is really cute and I give it credit for pulling the blanket over itself. I don't think it woulda won a best vid of the day award though
-Animal stories emerge from it...lol Eri mentions her dog and how her dog can shake hands. How does Reina combat this draw for attention?, well Reina's cat can shake hands, sit, and turn around. Stay too!...lol
-Falconer...thats cool and all but it was really short... I kind thought it'd be cool if it did something. But we do know that Aika's grandpa has a bird as well. And Reina's got a story about birds which is unbelieveable...lol. Its funny how no one believes her...lol

set 3 (aka oddities and interesting characters)
-Gum jump rope... I hope that guy didn't go back to eating it after.... even if it didn't hit him I'm sure all that spinning got dirt on it....
-Fast changing girl...was ...just... I dunno...seemed likeshe wouldn't be prepared for that anyway.
-Guu!...lol, thumbs going in odd directions looks like Risa got beat from her talent last moutube!
-waruo shows off some interesting tricks twice, but I wouldn't call them spectacular, the first one was cool with the straw but the second one was....eh...lol
-Balancing people, thats just cool beans, no doubt about that... and the footage of them all over the place, including the dentist and eating curry! coolness!
-Ball balancing! that was just awesome only thing that would have been cooler was if they coulda kept it spinning while it was on their heads...lol
-Kick power! I bet Ai feels like she was outdone after her love hello kicking lessons huh... daikon didn't stand a chance.

Chun's solo talent! (aka 1 star again!?!?)
-Koharu's curiousity... I wonder if it was genuine or they wanted to start it like that...they openly state how lame it was last time, and chun chun gets flared up!
-Air gymnastics from Chun! that is her dancing around and then twirling boots in the air... I didn't quite get what they were keeping what it was a secret
-They try to make her feel better... but she takes it fine... until... uh...well she's offended a bit cause of something even the effects people couldn't pick up...its all fhaiwethaigh... but its cute!

Reina's puchiwaza. (aka, how is that a talent of some kind though?)
-She did it herself! A scene all her own... I guess it was her idea to do mini plays in AH2 with sayu...lol
-It was adorable but she felt the atmosphere to that filming was odd... and noted how they said "thats fine" kind of things to her talent.
-Chun chun totally understands...lol

Sayu's puchiwaza (aka now where's the M and C... the A does show up later...lol)
-Sayu shows off her Y pose again! she holds it for a long time and makes almsot an I
-the finishing yay was cute... she feels like she's turning red though (that its hot there) and she's really embarassed though... I don't see why cause she's done it a couple times before... maybe its cause her silver pants were showing...lol.

GakiKame technique (aka there's the A now!)
-n~ a-to...lol... really it took awhile for me to figure it out...cause I thought for a moment that they were gonna do a mime act or something....
-It's an interesting attempt but it only took so long before they realized what was going on...lol.
-hehe Reina got into the idea, though GakiKame defend themselves...lol to funny results

And they note the swimmer (as in the very first one) as the winner of today so to speak...lol.

LOOK they still want submissions! you hear that guys do it do it do it!!!!!!!!

Next week!- Most members petite techs are revealed! (aka Moutube continues!)
-More GakiKame art!
-Boomeranging accuracy that looks cool
-Lots of stuff that looks interesting, can't wait!

Credit role: Buono's new song there... It's doesn't have any kamen rider references besides the scarfs (which is not a major thing either)... at least its not like nacchi only getting on line of her part in that 16sai no koi nante song...lol

Final Remarks: This one is fun...you get to see a bit more of the musume personality and some background info (eri's dog, reina's cat, aika's grandpa)... not much of aika, lin, or ai besides the occasional view but oh well ><. You'll also notice the more classic one window of the people watching them approach rather than the windows at the bottom with all of them...lol, guess it works better that way.

The funniest bit about junjuns gymnastic dance is when she picks up the boots. She cant kick her own legs up high like the lady in the video in the corner of her performance, so she uses the boots instead. Hilarious

And 'lame' JunJun for the win! that girl has some dry comic talent! (or the writers, and she can perform it very well)

I liked the different format with the girls' faces bigger and on the top corner. More MM talents or lack of, FTW!! Even if it's lame, at least you get a lot of feedback.

Go Junjun's artistic dancing video! Junjun's anger was full of laughs. Black Sayu strikes again.lol Can't say I blame her for her comments, it's not that nice a experience for a girl to see something like that.

Sayu's video was very impressive, there's one thing that she can do that's sports related. Reina is really into this ep, good energy. I believe your bird story Reina eventhough nobody else does! She made a valid complaint about doing the videos, it wasn't an atmosphere that made you feel at ease. That background music when Koharu was doing calculations in her head with the faraway look fit so perfectly. I liked Aichan's comments & reactions she had, here and there when she wasn't zoned out. I didn't really think Mitsui's comment(during kickboxing girl) was that WTF but Aichan and everyone's reaction to it was what made me laugh. The GakiKame combo was so fake but you can't help but laugh at the facial expressions, movements and final pose.

The videos I liked where the swimming one, the kickboxer girl, the girl&guy with ball, the guy doing handstands he had a nice story of his travels, the quick changing lady.
