With the shorter time slot, they could include exactly the same amount of material and just run it about 50% faster. The sound could be processed to bring the frequency back down again. (Or kamei's voice would be really high pitched!)

Alternatively they could just talk as fast as japanese people normally do when not on tv. The result is about the same. :-)

Having worked on TV and radio, can I tell you that sometimes cutting time means not cutting from the show, but having less commercial breaks?

The hummer was BIG ! and the girls were small

I thought for sure they couldn't play dominos in it but they sure did pretty well !

i know some people haven't seen the latest H!M, i have a link from veoh with the whole episode. does anyone want me to post the link? (am i even allow to post the link?) just reply and if someone wants it. (i rather jus stream it on veoh rather than using torrent)

actually, most of us have seen it

and videos on veoh are of crappy quality to begin with

Bleachhh meant the Veoh link because you can download from there, and all of their stuff (well, most H!M...) are pretty high quality.

I couldnt really tell, but in the H!M episode, the part where Yossie was talking with LinLin and Junjun, was Lin translating for Jun at one point?like near the part was Yossie pointed at Jun? I know its kinda random, I just kinda wanted to know.

We know Hello!Morning's ratings are not that good to begin with. Frankly, if anything I'd expect more commercials (although the ratio of commercials to the actual show is pretty much fixed in Japanese TV AFAIK).

It's cold mathematics. Viewership times the length of the advertisements equals revenue. If the higherups at the TV station think they can use the now freed up 15 minutes for some other show that might attract more viewers then that's what they will do.

HPC was so interesting.. it lasted wayy too short..
hope something better comes up then.. no wonder they did a "outdoor" thing with miki and eri for this episode.. to close HPC up i guess?
