Yaguchi Mari started an Ameblog from November 14th, and mostly has had very brief entries, like an intro, an entry about her dog, a PR for the movie she did a voice part for, and then entries about her taking a trip "to the North". On her latest entry as of this date and time, she writes that she is now in Iceland.

The translated entry is as follows:

Here is a real "Good Morning"!

I've kept you waiting!
I will reveal where I am!

I'm in Icelaaand!

Well even though I'm still just in my room... (^o^;

I still don't know anything about what kind of place Iceland is..(￣□￣wink.gif!!

I want to eat something delicious!

Anyway, from today, I will work hard at my job in Iceland.

The artist list of the 59th Kouhaku Uta Gassen has been announced by the NHK (http://www3.nhk.or.jp/kouhaku/artists/index.html). For the first time since Morning Musume's major debut there are no Hello! Project artists or groups performing. Only Satoda Mai is present with Pabo, but they are 'with' Shuuchishin on the white (male) team.

Kouhaku is boring and sucks anyway! And has lost ratings every year!

I loved H!P Kouhaku appearances, always so colourful and pretty. Those awesome costumes, funny medleys, children's songs... I used to look forward to them each year. Damn, that sucks.

And apparentely, they are not invited to any other show:

I was so disappointed with last years Kouhaku. I was looking forward to AKB48, Leah Dizon and Shokotan, but they all followed each other and it was over after three minutes

To be honest I think it's best they're not on Kouhaku at all, rather than squash them all in one 3-minute medley, because that's just embarrassing.

NHK never did treat H!P very well. This seems like a natural progression.

There's something else happening here. I suspect there's a reason for this -- UFA not pleasing the peeps at NHK or something. This IS a significant chapter marker in Momusu history.

Do they still have that show where they hypnotized Rika to not being scared of chickens and where they did the cloth-pulling trick a few years back?

Yeah, last year's H!P Kouhaku performance was just doinky IMO.

And Saburo, if you think that "UFA isn't pleasing the peeps at NHK", I wonder why NHK decided to have Takahashi Ai in the starring role of a drama then...

Oh well, congrats to Jero and Tohoshinki and Perfume.
