That girl is Seungyeon.

I assume that they debuted in Japan because they are pretty popular there. Yes, like SNSD with Genie.

did anyone see them on shabekuri 007 a little while ago? i've been waiting to see them get some time on japanese variety to see how they would be, and they land on the best variety show in japan. shit was fucking hilarious, esp gyuri and my seungyeon, hara was great too.

EDIT: Oh, I thought I'd add in some important news that I haven't seen posted here yet. KARA's comeback has been pushed back due to Seungyeon injuring her spine

SeungYeon recently checked into a hospital in Gangnam, Seoul. After an examination awhile back, doctors found an abnormality in her spine and SeungYeon finally decided to check into the hospital due to pains. A representative of KARA’s company, DSP Media, spoke to Newsen through a phone interview on September 7th (6th in America) and said,

“Han SeungYeon developed an abnormality in her back and has been hospitalized. It looks like she hurt herself while exercising. She continued exercising but went to the hospital when she felt back pains. They simply said that her back pains were from exercise but also that she’s stressed her spine. She’ll be able to fully recover after a break. She’s not in a serious state.”

As a result of her injury, KARA’s comeback has been pushed back as DSP Media believe SeungYeon’s health is more important than their comeback, and so do we! The representative also stated, “We’ve been planning to reveal their new album at the end of September so the need for her recovery is more urgent; it looks like their comeback will be pushed to October.”

Let’s all wish Seungyeon a speedy and healthy recovery and hope she stays healthy!
