(As a J-Old fan), am I the only one to notice that Ai-chan will song the sooo famous song "Cosmos" ?
I have high hopes for this cover !

It'll be great if High King's song is as catchy as their first (and only) B-Side...

I want to see Momo in ZYX dressed like she was in the Fly High's pv...

Phew! Thanks so much for the pics, they were great.

What can I say, I wasn't shocked at all at Sayu being in v-u-den, considering how much she's tried to establish herself as Rika v 2.0.

The vapid, "I'm so cute it outweighs my subpar singing" personality has been done! And better!

There aren't too many groups that I'm super excited about, but I may yet be changed, once I get a listen to the album...

Anyway, the good thing about this album is that many of the songs are lower than usual H!P songs, so the girls get so show a whole new side of their voice. Of course, the biggest I've-been-waiting-for-this-so-long song is Linlin's solo: the girl can SING!! Also I think it's Chisato that's doing a great job on the Tanpopo song, tho I wasn't really focusing so might be the others, too. I just remember suddenly going like "is that vibrato that I hear??"

The bad thing is that most of the songs have nothing to do with the original concept of any of the units. The "Viyuden" song doesn't sound like Viyuden, the ZYX ballad is almost an insult to Iku ZYX!! and so on. Ackkk I just don't understand why they needed to dig up the old unit names for this. Shin Minimoni probably comes to the closest to actually sounding like Minimoni. Maybe they weren't even supposed to sound like the original units and yes I realize that these are marriage songs, but that's the only reason why I was cool w/ the units coming back - to have their unique images and styles back, so yes I am disappointed.

Overall, the album does have a distinct H!p sound after all regardless of these jpop classics. The solo songs are the best IMo. LInlin should get more vocal exposure in MM after this. She has such great emotion in her voice.

Linlin voice is great, she deserves much more lines but maybe the problem is her strong accent... oh well i listened her song and Aichan song, love both of them (not much the songs but their singing)

Anyway, after some debate in IRC and whatnot, it's obvious to me that Linlin is fucked.

The girl is a great power singer, VERY good doing these lower range ballads and slow, soulful singing (from the few samples I've heard anyway). But there's a few problems, she's not popular enough to do well solo (believe me, no matter how hard they push the success would be very limited), and she just isn't that great while doing regular MM songs, especially live she seems very average. They should probably make some sort of serious(tm) singing group and put her in it. Mini Moni is not that group, lol.

This album has too many slow/boring songs for me

I really like Ai-chan's solo, as well as the new Biyuuden and Minimoni songs but other than that I wasn't impressed. It's a pity, I thought Linlin did great with her solo, but I just couldn't get into it.

And of course the song of Aa! But it would be better from vocal, if Reina was still in Aa! ><
°C-ute's Song was screwed up because of Mano's solo lines!

I agree with Shirenu... It makes no sense to me to have used the old units' names for this, when there's evidently no connection between the original units and these ones, aside from being from H!P and having the amount of members in the unit. Lame.

I'd rather 100000 times see the original members get back together for a special release of hits

I just listened to some.. I love the Tanpopo# song.. but is it just me or doesn't anyone think eririn sounded like miki in most parts? it really freaked me out..

she has a beautiful voice though

and yea.. everyone's talking about chisato's vibrato now..

i really like Linlin's solo but it didn't really stick to me.. hmmm..
i was disappointed in high-king since yuuka only got one line..

was so hoping they'd spread it around much.. it sounded that they just remembered yuuka is in the group too so she got the line near the end..

oh and I too, didnt get the purpose of the unit revivals. what is it for anyway? did tsunku say its on for the long run? or just to make another hiatus sub-unit?
