Jabronisaur aka Tim Marks passed away about an hour ago. The time is now 6:30 PM EST. July 16, 2009. Due to complications of rare pneumonia.

I just got a call from his brother Chuck. He told him there was 5 pages of well wishes...and that he had the best time in the world with guys like us at JPHIP who share a similiar passion. He mother and father by his side.. He could not respond but he heard.

Forever Remembered Jab, you did all you could possibly could at Anime Expo. Brother, Moderator, HiPster 4 LIFE. We love you.

Jabronisaur is in critical condition. on a respirator I got a call from his brother and they need to figure out what's going on. Any communication is necessary!!! PLEASE HELP!!

We need to really pray pray for Jabronisaur, someone I can call my brother.

Basically, the last time I talked to Jab was last nite. He told me had been quarrantined for 3 days. Then got the call tonight and Jab's bro Chuck told me he had been rushed to ICU, he couldn't breathe on his own and they put the breathing mask on him (respirator? nebulizer?) His fever was at 104.

RIGHT NOW. A glimmer of hope. The breathing machine he's been on, the pressure has gone down. His temp has stabilized.

Already contacted a few peeps. Thanks so much, we really really appreciate it. And exchanged doctor info and hopefully they can get to the bottom of things. Props roddrommel of JPM (whom DroolBoy told me he got diagnosed with swine flu) but calling him earlier said he's better and going back home).

I went to the VA hospital in Seattle, on Wed. Found out its just flu, not swine flu.

Oh no!

I wish I could do something to help, I didn't really get that sick so didn't see a doctor. Could be the swine flu. Didn't someone from another forum get it? Didn't help that he probably wasn't getting the proper nutrition that weekend like most of us.

Hope he gets better soon. You can do it jab!

I'm seriously thankful I didn't get sick, but it feels like I'm the only one. This is insane. I'll try to get in contact with one of my friend's she apparently got swine flu while there. Holy crap. Do they know if this is con related? Is it just escalated from a regular flu that he may've gotten? D: *worryworry*

All I got was a sinus infection. No flu or anything, so I'm not sure I can help at all here.

Since I am so worried about jab and cannot talk without crying. since around this time last year I lost my mom to pnuemonia with complications.

Let them know they should check his kindneys, and check him for the MRSA bacterial infection... I hope they are giving him antibiotics if he has an infection.
Also he should be tested for any airborne fungal infection some allergens can be deadly...

I hope they are checking his lungs and any other organs like his stomach...

I really cant say much in irc, or say it outloud cause I can't stop crying....

the dr's should not rule out kidney failure. and check him for anything and EVERYTHING.. he could have had something pre exisiting or caught something on the plane...

I really hope they can get him better. my heart is breaking right now cause he is the sweetest guy..

Jeez I can't believe a case this bad has happened to one of our own. Everyone I went with AX got sick except me all I got was mild headaches. I hope Jab pulls through. Only spoke to him briefly but he's one hell of a guy. Stay strong Jab. We're all praying for you.

Good god, I wish I could help, but I don't even know my own doctor's info. I got sick too, mild bronchitis, but it was no where as bad as this. I'm praying for him, truly. You can pull through, dude. We're all here for you!

I was one of the ones lucky enough to not get sick, though I lost my appetite for a short while. I really wish I could do more...
