Chapter 15

"Are you ready, Miki-sama?" Eri asks as she applies the tenth coating of lip gloss on her lips.

"Of course. I've been ready." I answered. "I'm just waiting on you, slow poke."

"Hey, this dress takes awhile to put on." She retorted, fixing the little hat on her head.

I checked myself in the dressing room mirror. I'm donning a black dress suit, typical OL wardrobe. Eri over there was back in her crazy lolita fashion for her Elizabeth Kyamei character. After she finally finishes checking herself out in the mirror (she's almost worst than Sayu), we finally headed toward the stage. We sat in our respective seats by our nametags. Eri calls out to me.

"I know you haven't done something like this, so don't be nervous. Just follow my lead."

I raised an eyebrow. "Nervous? What the-"

"Taping in 3...2...1..." Interrupted the director.

Then the intro music cued. I scowled. Who does she think she is? Like she owns the segment. She should know that I've been in this business before she even became a Morning Musume member.

"Renewal, renewal. I'm so happy." She sings. "Do you know who I am?"

"Eli-"

*toot* She blows on a toy horn she got from out of nowhere.

"zabeth"

*toot*

"Kya-me-i"

*toot*

"I'm your caster, Elizabeth Kyamei. Yahoi!"

Silence. Wow, that was so not scripted. Oh, my gosh. What happened to this girl? It's like she completely transformed.

"Let me introduce our commentator, it's her!" She points at me.

I still stare at her dumbfounded as I managed to mumble out, "That's too much."

"What? I'm too much?" Eri replies in an annoying cutesy voice. "Well please give us your sensible comments."

I nodded my head. I'm completely lost now. I know a certain amount of the segment is improvised but I had no idea. Eri took it into her own world. She then starts rambling about Aya's concert DVD as I wonder if she has straightened out in her self rehab yet. Then I hear my name.

"How was it Fujimoto-san?" Eri asks.

I shook my head and came back to reality. "Oh yeah," I looked at the cue card in front of me. "Well there's over twenty songs in the concert and there's also videos of GAM with me, Fujimoto Miki, on the DVD." Well duh, who else would be in GAM? Someone needs to get these writers in check.

"Fujimoto-san is in the DVD?" Eri asks bluntly.

I think this is where I'm suppose to improvise and say something funny. "Well of course my actual body isn't in there..."

"And how was Matsuura-san?"

"Well," I started but Elizabeth went on to the next announcement. "Hey, are you listening to me?" This was harder than I thought. It's like trying to talk to a kid with ADD.

She then announces the 10th anniversary single along with saying the title wrong. I cut in to correct her.

"Not my ESIA, it's my ASIA"

"You're the commentator, right? So say something good about it."

"I rather have it without mistakes." I pointed out.

She goes on rambling some more until it was time to play the game segment. Then in comes Koharu aka "Pinky Koharu", hence all in pink she's wearing. She's the field reporter which Eri used to be a few years ago. I thought Sayu would fit the role better, liking pink and all but Koharu must have won them over with her crack...I mean, sugar induced annoyingness. These segments really do change a person's attitude, huh? Or maybe they're just good actors? No. But hey, why do they get costumes and I get this old OL frump-a-dump? Well I guess it's better than looking like a bunch of clowns. Rika and Risa happened to be there as well. Great, more people that annoy me. The staff love to torture me, ne? I saw Eri making fun of Rika to which I couldn't help cackle. They really have some rivalry going on but if I were to choose sides I'd probably pick Eri though truly I wouldn't pick either. They're both annoying. Everyone is annoying. I'm annoying myself for being annoyed by annoying people.

Then the game finally started. Something about putting pedometers on their bodies or something. I stopped paying attention a long time ago. Koharu demonstrates and I caught a glimpse of her spazzing out like she's having a seizure. I let out a chuckle before minding my own business again. I wished this was over already. From there on everything went chaotic, everyone was talking and yelling over each other, trying to get screen time as time was counting down. Eri turns back to me and says something, asking how the segment went. I gave her my response and suddenly she breaks away from me, taking half of the stage with her. It caught me by surprise.

"Bye bye!" She waved at me as the staff pulled her away to the other side of the studio.

I reoriented myself and read the final sentence on the cue card in front of me. "I'm currently looking for a hobby. If you have suggestions, please send them in." Hobbies. Heh, looks like they used my idea after all.

"And cut!" Yells the director and everyone scrambles about the studio. I sighed. I'm glad that was over. I quickly got up from my chair but saw a ball of frills coming in my direction.

"Good job." It says.

"I guess." I answered. "Anyway how did you do that?" I asked Eri.

"Do what?" She asks.

"You're like a whole different person up there."

"It's called acting." She simply replied.

"I know that but why don't you act like that more often in real life. Well, not the obnoxiously annoying part, but the confident part."

"Confident part?" She repeated. "You think I sounded confident?"

"Sure. Maybe if you kept it up you wouldn't be so shy around people." And then you wouldn't have to come to me for stupid dating advice, I finished in my head.

"Wah~ thanks Miki-sama." She smiled. "By the way, I didn't know you were looking for a hobby."

"Yeah, it was a suggestion that was added last minute."

"Oh. Well, why didn't you say that before? I can help you find one!"

"Eh?" I huffed. I already knew that was a bad idea. "No thanks."

"C'mon. It'll be fun."

Suddenly my phone rings. Great timing! I went away from Eri and answered.

"Hey, Tan." Says a voice I haven't heard in awhile.

"Hmm? Who is this?" I pretended not to know.

"Tan, hush. I'm sorry I haven't called lately." I waited for Aya's explanation. "Anyway, we finally came up with a decision!"

"Oh yeah?"

"Yes, they finally agreed to go with my idea, my direction." She sounds so happy I can imagine her jumping up and down.

"That's great, Aya. That means you'll be coming back now, right?" Please say "yes", please say "yes".

"Well..." She mumbled. That sounded iffy. "Now that everything's in the works that means more training and practice."

"So that means..." I started.

"Busy, busy, busy." She finished. "For the next few months."

I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. Not seeing Aya for the next few months? I haven't got to see her at all since the new year began. That's just plain cruel and unusual punishment. "So I won't be able to see you at all?"

"I really want to but this schedule is really tight. You know this is really important to me, Tan."

"But what about me? This is not fair!" I was feeling a little flustered and irritated at the same time.

She sighed. "I'll tell you what, before I even start this busy schedule I'll come see you. How about that?"

"Really? When?"

"This weekend?" She suggested.

"The whole weekend?" I slightly urged.

"Ok." She agreed.

"You better."

"You know I missed you too." She added.

That softened my mood a bit. "Ok, I expect to see you here this weekend."

"Of course."

She was about to let me go before a thought came to my head. "Oh! I found out that guy who called you."

"What guy? That Toji guy?"

"Yeah, it's actually Tomoharu Shouji. Does that ring a bell?"

She hummed for a second. "Not really. Is he famous for something?"

"He's a comedian I heard. You know, that one guy who kept talking to you at that one party we went to awhile back?"

"You mean that tall shaggy fellow?" She finally realized. "I found him annoying, crude, and unkempt."

I grinned like an idiot. "That's why I love you."

"You don't have him on a hit list or something, do you?" She joked.

"What gave you that idea?" Damn, she knows me too well.

"Don't worry. No need to be my bodyguard."

"But that body of yours needs to be guarded." I joked back.

She chuckled on the other end. "Hush, Tan. Don't be causing trouble."

"I'm not, and I won't." I assured her. With that, I no longer had to worry about Aya's heart swaying to another. This guy had no chance.

After reminding her a few more times to be here this weekend, we finally said our 'love you's and 'goodbye's. A huge dorky grin emerged on my face as I anticipated for the weekend to come. The excitement must have overtaken me as I ended up skipping my out into the hallway.

"Something good happened?" A voice from behind startled me like a record scratch, stopping everything I was doing. I turned around and glared at the culprit for ruining my moment. Her.

"And?" I crossed my arms. "So what?"

"Just saying." Eri replied. "Miki-sama should smile more often. It makes her look very pretty."

I wanted to roll my eyes. Ass kisser~ I thought but I just smirked. "Thanks." I said and patted her on the head. I turned on my heels and started walking away but Eri said something else.

"So how about it?" She asked.

I stopped again and turned around. "What?"

"Find a hobby."

I sighed and shrugged my shoulders. "Whatever."

"How about this weekend?" She asked.

Hell NO! was my immediate thought. "Actually, I..." I started but I was interrupted by Eri's phone. She opens it and blushes when she read her newly received text message.

"What?" My curiousity made me walked toward her. She showed the message to me. It was a picture of a bouquet of flowers followed by a message:

For you~ It read. I'll give these to you if you let me take you out this weekend. - Ozaki

Aw, how slick. I thought. I should try it on Aya sometimes. I then smirked at Eri who was still blushing. "Well looks like your weekend is booked."

"Yeah, sorry Miki-sama. I guess some other time."

I didn't feel bad at all. "No problem! I have other things to do this weekend anyway." Aya, ahem. "You go have fun, ne? Be good!" She nodded. Yes! I got her out of my hands for the weekend. Too bad I'll be missing out on dinner though. That's ok, I'll have someone else do that for me. That dorky grin emerged from my face again followed by a little snicker.

---------------------------

Credits to MMBBS for the subs. :D I plan on writing chapters of each or most of the segments but I can't seem to find the sub files for them. Methinks the DVD I burned them on to didn't burn properly so I may have lost them  :smhid sucks if that's what happened. So if anyone has them that would help alot but I could always make up the whole thing just by watching the videos ne? It's fiction after all  or is it?  ;)

So yeah, at this point the story is around mid-January 2007, just to keep everyone with the timeline.

LOL I still find him crude, and unkempt XD  and he's always crying

lol...my fiction brain tells me that in pretend land..if Miki and Shouji were to be married via blackmail...Shouji would definitely be crying all the time XD

something tells me Ayaya's gonna bail.  Probably because she's been gone for 13-14 chapters.  I'm starting to wonder if she'll ever make it back XD

Hehe can't wait to see what happens next~

HartAKL95 - Because you can't list "groping" on an official profile. Too bad.
Meh. She'll always be The Groping Demon in my eyes.

Miki-sama's not gonna see her beloved Ayaya for the next couple of months?  Hope Aya makes that weekend worthwhile. Otherwise Miki might turn to somebody else.

*Gasp* Don't tell me that's how she ends up with Shoji.

Can't wait till Fujimoto switches from that OL outfit to that lolita maid outfit. Gah, I missed those segments. Especially the return of Charmy.

 No you got it right the first time!
I love how Miki was so grumpy.

Also how Eri managed to piss off both Rika and Risa into marching, or trying to match, over to the stage. Watching it, for a split second, I thought I was gonna see Rika lay a smack down! That would have been awesome.

Ooo? Set up chapter? Wonder what's going to happen over the weekend?

Find that one funny... I can imagine Miki wearing a black suit, a dark sunglass and had an ear piece connected to a radio receiver.

Funny how it turns out it's not Aya that we all have to worry about... though I'm sure that's rather the point. ;) Poor Aya. That must be why she became so pissed and bitch-like in her last EC appearances. She thought Miki would be there for her the whole time, but instead she's run off to scraggly-haired guy... bah... lol. You can tell I'm not excited about that sequence of events. :P Maybe you'll shift it into an AU?^_^ I still wanna see FujiKame~ though of course that's not really you...

I guess I missed a chapter here... Didn't even notice. Guess that's what I get for not paying attention to the forum lately. I've just not been myself...

Anyway, I'll never be able to look at those H!M segments the same again I think - I'll eventually get to them lol. If you don't find any subs yet would maybe still want some help just translating the segments, let me know. I wonder what's gonna happen with Eri and Ozaki-kun... Cause that's the relationship here that we don't really know about. lol

Well, I guess I should go back to lurk mode and maybe eventually get to sleep. >.> I'll pop back for more ^^

Early replies, I guess...

Sukoshi - LoL Was he part of that group with Mari where she had to ride the tricycle for 12 hours? I remember seeing a tall shaggy crying man there. XD Aya has to come back right? There's still GAM activities ya know. ;)

badsaints - Because it did happen! in my world. XD

HartAKL85 - Yeah, Aya better do something. Just wait and see.

rndmnwierd - LoL I'd love to see an Eri vs Rika smackdown. Reminds me when they had those little rivalries in Maido Arii, even back in HPH with that staring contest where Eri cussed when she was going to lose. XD

cogi_yoshi - Miki would look hot in that suit.

rokun - Yes, I'm waiting for an update on your story. :P LoL don't start putting off the story just because you think you know what's going to happen at the end. It hasn't even gotten to the good part yet, this is all just fluff and filler until the main part of the story starts, whenever that is. XD

Soo...I've been busy with school and the usual life stuff, but it's almost the end of the semester so I'll be back updating this fic soon! But I'm totally stuck on the next chapter which is pretty much filler again. But I've had this one part here written up for awhile, it's Eri's POV of the story. And I thought if I ever got through with this story first then I would write Eri's POV of the story (maybe) which would reveal many details that weren't written in Miki's version. But this is a very rough draft part so far and it might change later. I even think it might spoil some part of the story if you read it. But consider this as a little bonus to make up for the long wait for the next chapter. *kiss up*  :-*

-----------------------------

Bonus Part: Prologue - Eri's POV

[Sometime in mid-December 2006]

I looked at the time on my cellphone. The bright screen says it's midnight here in Phuket. It's past my bedtime, I thought, but I know there is a time difference between here and Tokyo so I made sure I waited till the right time to call my friends. I slapped at my cheeks, trying to keep myself awake and started typing a message. Reina should still be up at this time. It's only 10pm in Tokyo, I think.

Reina, konbanwa! ^_^ What are you doing?

And Send. I waited for the reply. In the meantime I decided to send Sayu the same message except I accidently forgot to replace Reina's name with hers. Oops. She knows what I mean. I waited for their replies now. It felt lonely in my cramped hotel room. I could hardly call it a hotel room for it was just an empty room above a restaurant. But it was the cheapest thing we could afford. I don't mind, I like the cramped and small space. The dresser could at least have a mirror. The only thing I can complain is that it's hot here, even though it was December. Only a measely electric fan kept this room from becoming a sauna. I was missing the cool weather back in Tokyo. And these windows don't look very bug proof. I scanned around my room and listened carefully for any buzzing intruders. Ten minutes had passed and still no reply from both of them. I pouted. I guess I'll have to call them. Reina first.

It's ringing. I hear that familiar sound. After what seemed like a minute, the line finally picks up.

"Ugh, hello?" The yankii answered, annoyed.

"Reina~ konbanwa~" I chirped.

"Eri, do you know what time it is?"

"It's 10 there right? I know there's a two hour difference between here and Tokyo. It's midnight here. Don't be grouchy I stayed up just to call you and-"

"Eri, it's freaking 2am over here! We're two hours ahead, not behind." Reina corrected me.

"Oh." Fail, Eri, fail. I knocked my fist against my head a few times. I then apologized to Reina. "Sorry. I'll let you go then."

"S'ok. I'm awake now, what's up?" Reina yawned.

"I'm bored. Just wanted to talk. Wanna put Sayu on three-way?"

"If she wakes up." Reina replied.

I put Reina on hold as I dialed Sayu's number. It rings just as long as Reina's and then...

"Mou, Eririn..." The ichiban kawaii whined. "Do you know what time..."

"I know, I know, I'm sorry. I have Reina on the other line. Hold on."

I finally set the phone to three way and now we were all on. My comrades were both annoyed by their rude awakening.

"So, what's up Eri? Having fun in Fuh..Phu-whatever it is?" Asked Reina.

"Phu-ket." I pronounced. "And yes, it's really fun here. Except for the bugs and the heat."

"Ah, warm weather sounds good right about now." Sayu cooes, I hear shuffling sounds in the background. She sounds like she's bundled up in a bunch of blankets. "Did you get us anything?"

"Of course, I did." I lied.

"Liar." Reina caught me.

I sighed in defeat. "Tomorrow. I will get it tomorrow."

My friends mumbled, knowing that that was no guarauntee.

"So...did you finally asked out Ozaki-kun before the holiday break?" Reina now changed the subject.

The sound of his name made me speechless, not only because it was the name of the guy I have a crush on but also because I didn't want to answer Reina's question. Why did she have to bring that up? But I knew I had to answer back so I hesitated, sighed, and answered.

"No."

"Ehh? Eri what's the hold up?" Reina chided. "You're graduating [from high school] soon and you still haven't asked him yet?"

"You know me. I'm kitchen." I whined.

"Chicken." Sayu corrected.

I was starting to feel a little tired now. I slapped my cheeks again but my eyelids were slowly drooping. I hear Sayu and Reina teasing me some more about Ozaki-kun. He goes to the same private school with Gaki-san and me. He became my tutor and has helped me a lot with my schoolwork when Gaki-san could no longer tolerate helping me out anymore. She says an elementary schooler can pay more attention than me. Hmph. But I was thankful for Ozaki-kun's patience because I know I can be a handful. I can't help it. That's just me. I didn't think I'd end up liking him but I find him quite charming.

"Eri!" Reina's loud voice echoed through the speaker. My eyes opened again. "Yo Eri, you better ask him out before graduation."

"How? I don't know what to do." I mumbled.

"You should ask someone who knows a thing or two about dating." Sayu replied, almost seemingly hinting to herself.

"Pfft." Reina responded.

"Like who?" I asked.

"Hmm. Fujimoto-san?" Reina suggested jokingly.

"Eh? Miki-sama? Why her?"

"She looks like she knows that stuff." Reina figured. "Probably has been around the block if you know what I mean."

"Mm hmmm." Sayu hummed.

There was a long pause from me. "No, I don't." I finally replied.

Then there was an even longer pause.

"Nevermind." Sayu and Reina echoed together.

They continued talking about me and my situation again, laughing and joking around. I ignored them, shuffling around in my bare mattress trying to find a comfortable position. Even if I had all the dating advice in the world I cannot escape our company's "no dating" policy. I know several of my senpai have bent the rules but I'm just not daring enough to do it myself. I'm about to fall asleep on them now and I don't care. Maybe it was a bad idea to call them. Next time I'll make sure to call at the right time. My mind wandered and I found myself thinking about Ozaki-kun now. Even if he was in my dreams I'd be too shy to approach him. Although we've developed a good friendship between us I can't help my heart from fluttering when I look and think about him in a different way. He's smart, handsome, funny, and kind. And I'm clumsy, shy, weird, but cute. We are total opposites. But isn't that a good thing? I wished I didn't have to make the first move. It should be the guy, right? It's more romantic that way anyway. I wished he knew how I felt about him. I wished he'd be the one to come to me and say...

"Kame-chan, I like you. Will you go out with me?"

"Yes! Of course I will!" I said out loud.

"Whoaaaaa!" Sayu and Reina cried together, breaking my thoughts and snapping me back to reality.

"Huh?" I reoriented myself and realized that I'm still in my hotel room in Thailand and on the phone with Sayu and Reina.

"Well Eri, you've got yourself a deal." Reina confirmed. "I'll see to it that you carry it out. You can't take it back because I've recorded this call. I'm out guys, I'll talk to you guys later. Hehe." She hung up leaving me and Sayu on the line now.

"Eririn, you're crazy." Sayu said regretfully. "Why did you accept?"

What is she talking about? I've completely missed something here. A deal, she said? Did I just agreed to something I wasn't even aware about? I asked Sayu what they were talking about and she explained the whole thing to me. Every single crazy detail.

"Oh, by the way," Sayu added. "Don't forget to buy me something cute, ok?"

I scoffed and hung up the phone on her. I shouldn't have called them in the first place. I thought about what Sayu just told me a moment ago and groaned. But it's not my fault! I dozed off, it's not fair! But knowing Reina she'll never back out from a deal. Ugh, Eri, what have you done?

It felt lonely in my cramped hotel room. I could hardly call it a hotel room for it was just an empty room above a restaurant. But it was the cheapest thing we could afford. I don't mind, I like the cramped and small space. The dresser could at least have a mirror. The only thing I can complain is that it's hot here, even though it was December. Only a measely electric fan kept this room from becoming a sauna.

You forgot to mention about the padlock  :D   She was kinda afraid to be left alone in that room

Yeah, what was the deal?  :D

"You know me. I'm kitchen." I whined.

"Chicken." Sayu corrected.
It knocked me out...literally. :on kimbo:

So... Reina and Sayu knew who this Ozaki-kun is on the first place.... and how Miki got involved was all thanks to the fellow yankii.  :on lol:

I'm gonna follow everyone and ask...What's the deal? XD

So Reina was the one who mislead Eri in thinking Miki's been "around the block". If only Miki come to know about this...she's a dead kitchen, er chicken

Ok, I saw my story pushed to the 2nd page and finally thought, "that's it, gotta update NAOWZ" XD

Man, sorry for taking forever. First it was writer's block, then it's trying to fit this in my wacky schedule, now I'm just being lazy. :P Thanks for the replies to the bonus chapter, unfortunately I can't reveal what the deal is because I don't know what it is really. Well, I do know but I feel there's a better way to approach it but I can't figure it out yet. Anyway that was just a "test" chapter to see how an Eri POV will work out. I'm pretty sure it would be crazier than Miki's XD

Ok, now where was I? Too bad I haven't been consistently writing as the timeline (as in months) almost matches with the timeline of the story but now my story's a month behind. Oh well. I really want to pick up this story again but I've started to lose interest, BUT I'll try to finish it as much as I can, I think it's a good story.

So let's recap from the last real chapter...

Eri and Miki filmed their first segment of HPC and afterwards Miki finally receives a call from Aya who has finally made a decision as to what to do about her career which meant busy busy busy which meant to Miki no Aya! She gives Aya the guilt trip and convinces her to come visit her this weekend before she gets too busy then Miki then brings up Shouji Tomoharu and his connection with Aya, to which Aya replied in disgust having nothing to do with him whatsoever. This eases Miki's mind as she anticipates for the weekend to come and doesn't let anything or anyone get in the way of her plans!

And that's what happened last time on GLEE! April no Aho! XD

posting the next part...

Chapter 16

The ceiling looks like it's slowly lowering itself above me as I stared intensely at it for the last half hour. Is that a stain or is the ceiling's paint color just slightly different from the wall color? I thought. It couldn't be dirty, I clean it regularly. My eyes are probably getting tired from looking at it, so I peeled my gaze away and looked around the rest of the apartment. Spic and span, as it should. I spent early today recleaning my already clean apartment. And now I'm just lounging around waiting, thinking about random things and Aya, or rather, random things to do to Aya to pass the time.

Suddenly my phone beeps. A message! I quickly opened it and immediately frowned.

Mikisama! How R U?

I sighed and answered. Ok.

Were goin 2 d mvies, shud i get the umbshi candy or popcrn?

I threw my hands up in the air. What kind of question is that? So I answered back firmly.

Eri. Stop interrupting your date and just watch the damn movie!

OK!!1 :) She simply replied. And that was that.

I threw my phone down on the couch and returned my gaze at the ceiling. Aya never specified what time she'd arrive but all I know is that it's the weekend and she better be here. Shall I make the doorbell ring like I did with my phone? I thought, it couldn't happen again right? But hey why not?

"Annnnnnnndddd...." I hummed, "......NOW!"

I looked at the door and listened. Nothing. I chuckled to myself. I knew it, it can't happen twice. I shook my head for being silly when suddenly the doorbell rang. In an automatic response, I sprang up from the couch and sprinted to the door. My heart pounded against my chest with such excitement as I opened the door. Somehow I imagined a very bright light shining through as I opened it. And that light would be eminating from an angel standing in front of me. Our eyes met and stared for a good minute. Her lips curled up into a smile. She opened her mouth to say something but I quickly pulled her inside and shut the door, pressing her up against it. Our eyes met again but much closer this time. Aya's hazel eyes crossed from the closeness.

"Tan..." She manages to breathe out as I quickly went at her neck with my lips like a blood thirsty vampire. She let out a moan in response as she tried to speak again. "Tan, hmpph..." But this time my lips met with hers. I couldn't stop myself. I don't know how long I've been holding this inside me. I think I'm going to go crazy. I feel her trying to push me off of her but it only made me hold her tighter, pressing her hips against mine. Then I started to drag her along with me across the room heading towards the obvious destination, my bedroom. She manages to speak again between her sighs and moans.

"Tan." She huffed. "My shoes..."

I stopped briefly to look down at her black high heeled boots. "Yeah, those are hot." I mumbled. What a totally random thing of her to say.

She giggled before speaking again. "No, can I at least take them off? I know how you are with shoes on your floor."

She's right, I realized but of course she's an exception. "That's ok." I said until a scraping sound made me cringe. I looked down again and saw a huge black scuffmark on my white floor. I forced myself not to ruin the moment to stop and remove it. Instead, I lowered myself to where I can grab hold of Aya's thighs and wrap her legs around my waist, lifting her up in the process. She yelps in surprise and then starts laughing.

"You cannot carry me." She laughed, wrapping her arms around my neck.

"'Course I...can." My words struggled as I slowly made my way to my room, carrying her with me. We're about the same weight, I think, although Aya's probably a bit more due to the extra baggage she had on top. She returns my kisses and wipes away the sweatdrops that were starting to form on my forehead. She kept laughing and teasing me along the way.

"I can walk, you know."

Dammit Aya, can you shut up so I can do you already? Of course, I would never say that out loud. Instead, "Isn't it more romantic this way?" I asked.

"Not when you're struggling like that."

"We're almost there." Sort of. But just short of the bed my arms gave up and Aya falls right on her butt on the floor. She groaned then laughed some more. I apologized as I stretched out painfully. I think I almost killed my back doing that.

Aya got up and sat at the edge of the bed. But the beast inside me quickly tackled her down into the mattress, going at her soft lips again. But she doesn't protest or struggle at all, she lets me do what I want to her. As it should be. Of course at one point she finally stops me to breathe. She looks up at me, running her hand through my hair that has fallen on her face.

"Hello to you too." She finally greets me.

I snickered shyly. Oh yeah, where are my manners? I realized. I smiled back at her. "Um, long time, no see?"

She nods as she pulls me down to kiss me this time. I think I've died and gone to heaven, melting in Aya's warm embrace. My wandering hands re-explored curves it has missed touching. Soft warm milky white skin shivering under my touch. My fingers slowly crept up her leg, grazing across her thigh, slipping underneath her skirt and then...

My phone starts ringing. I groaned. What perfect timing. I ignored it, of course.

"Tan, your phone." Aya mumbles between our kisses.

"Ignore it." I said, working my way down her neck again.

It kept ringing and ringing and didn't want to stop. I swear if it's Eri calling to ask for advice, I'm gonna...

"It might be important." Aya continues.

"Shhh." But the ringing could not be ignored.

Aya finally reaches over to the nightstand and answers it.

"Moshi, moooshhh..." She moaned that last part. She covered her mouth in embarrassment and swats at me to stop kissing her stomach. "Moshi, moshi?" She repeated and paused for a few seconds. Then her eyebrows furrowed suddenly. She looks at me and hands me the phone. "It's for you."

I glared at her for interrupting the mood. Eri, I assumed as I grabbed the phone and answered irritably.

"Moshi, moshi?"

"Hey, Tan, it's me."

Now my eyebrows furrowed. "A-Aya?" I replied as I looked at the girl in front of me.

I opened my eyes and found myself staring at my white ceiling above me. I looked around. I'm on my couch. The clock read an hour had passed. I listened. My phone is really ringing. That was then I realized that I had been dreaming all this time. I loudly dropped F bombs at my deceiving dream, then I picked up my phone and answered it none too happily.

"What?" I almost growled.

"Tan..." It was Aya, for real this time.

"Aya? Are you here?" I perked up. But her next words sent me plopping back on the couch.

"No. I'm sorry, Tan."

"What? Why???"

"My flight has been delayed by a typhoon here."

"Flight?" She's far away? I realized. "Where are you?"

"Himeji." She replied.

"Himeji?? You mean, you were in your hometown all this time?"

"Not the whole time." She answered. "I feel bad, Tan. I said I'd be there."

"You can catch the next flight, right?"

"I don't know. The rain's coming down hard here."

"I'll come to you then." I blurted without thinking.

"Don't be silly Tan, it's a long way. You probably couldn't book a flight over to here either."

"But...so, what now?" I asked, sounding a bit desperate.

"I don't know, Tan. Just have to wait awhile, I'm sorry."

This is ridiculous! I thought. Just when I finally got the chance to see Aya again, this happens. Random crazy thoughts popped in my head which then became suspicious thought. "You're not making up some excuse not to see me, are you?"

"Tan! How can you say that? If I didn't want to see you then why am sitting here stuck at the airport?"

Well how do I know that's true? I thought but I mentally slapped myself for not believing her. "Can you come as soon as the storm dies down?"

"I hope so but I'll probably end up staying overnight."

"But you're freaking Aya Matsuura! If you wanted to go to the moon you'd be there already." I blurted out again.

"The hell does that suppose to mean?" She sounded a bit annoyed now.

That was a cue for me to shut up and deal with it or she might change her mind. "Nothing." I replied.

Our conversation ended with her assuring me she'll be here as soon as possible tomorrow. My night ended with frustration so I decided to call it a night but it was way too early to go to bed yet. I looked at my neatly made bed, wishing the sheets were wrinkled from our bodies. But I guess it'll just be me. I tucked myself in, the coolness of the sheets made me shiver slightly. I tossed and turned, finding no comfortable position. I forced my eyes closed until another beep came from my phone. With eyes still closed, I felt around the nightstand until I felt the rectangular plastic in my hand and brought it toward my face. I flipped it open and finally opened my eyes.

Oh. It's her, again.

Mikisama, Im sad. :( Eri said.

I slightly frowned in concern and texted her back. Why? What happened? Did he do something to you? I don't care if it's Eri but if any guy messes with any girl I am ready to kick ass.

Da movie wuz so sad. She replied.

I felt the atmosphere go cold. I didn't even bother to text her back so I immediately flipped my phone closed.

"You're really something, Eri." I said as I pulled the sheets over me. "Something else."
