070121 Hello Morning Hello! Project Channel No 1 HDChapter 15"Are you ready, Miki-sama?" Eri asks as she applies the tenth coating of lip gloss on her lips.
"Of course. I've been ready." I answered. "I'm just waiting on you, slow poke."
"Hey, this dress takes awhile to put on." She retorted, fixing the little hat on her head.
I checked myself in the dressing room mirror. I'm donning a black dress suit, typical OL wardrobe. Eri over there was back in her crazy lolita fashion for her Elizabeth Kyamei character. After she finally finishes checking herself out in the mirror (she's almost worst than Sayu), we finally headed toward the stage. We sat in our respective seats by our nametags. Eri calls out to me.
"I know you haven't done something like this, so don't be nervous. Just follow my lead."
I raised an eyebrow. "Nervous? What the-"
"Taping in 3...2...1..." Interrupted the director.
Then the intro music cued. I scowled. Who does she think she is? Like she owns the segment. She should know that I've been in this business before she even became a Morning Musume member.
"Renewal, renewal. I'm so happy." She sings.
"Do you know who I am?""Eli-"*toot* She blows on a toy horn she got from out of nowhere.
"zabeth"*toot*
"Kya-me-i" *toot*
"I'm your caster, Elizabeth Kyamei. Yahoi!"
Silence. Wow, that was so not scripted. Oh, my gosh. What happened to this girl? It's like she completely transformed.
"Let me introduce our commentator, it's her!" She points at me.
I still stare at her dumbfounded as I managed to mumble out, "That's too much."
"What? I'm too much?" Eri replies in an annoying cutesy voice. "Well please give us your sensible comments."
I nodded my head. I'm completely lost now. I know a certain amount of the segment is improvised but I had no idea. Eri took it into her own world. She then starts rambling about Aya's concert DVD as I wonder if she has straightened out in her self rehab yet. Then I hear my name.
"How was it Fujimoto-san?" Eri asks.
I shook my head and came back to reality. "Oh yeah," I looked at the cue card in front of me. "Well there's over twenty songs in the concert and there's also videos of GAM with me, Fujimoto Miki, on the DVD." Well duh, who else would be in GAM? Someone needs to get these writers in check.
"Fujimoto-san is in the DVD?" Eri asks bluntly.
I think this is where I'm suppose to improvise and say something funny. "Well of course my actual body isn't in there..."
"And how was Matsuura-san?"
"Well," I started but Elizabeth went on to the next announcement. "Hey, are you listening to me?" This was harder than I thought. It's like trying to talk to a kid with ADD.
She then announces the 10th anniversary single along with saying the title wrong. I cut in to correct her.
"Not my
ESIA, it's my
ASIA"
"You're the commentator, right? So say something good about it."
"I rather have it without mistakes." I pointed out.
She goes on rambling some more until it was time to play the game segment. Then in comes Koharu aka "Pinky Koharu", hence all in pink she's wearing. She's the field reporter which Eri used to be a few years ago. I thought Sayu would fit the role better, liking pink and all but Koharu must have won them over with her crack...I mean, sugar induced annoyingness. These segments really do change a person's attitude, huh? Or maybe they're just good actors? No. But hey, why do they get costumes and I get this old OL frump-a-dump? Well I guess it's better than looking like a bunch of clowns. Rika and Risa happened to be there as well. Great, more people that annoy me. The staff love to torture me, ne? I saw Eri making fun of Rika to which I couldn't help cackle. They really have some rivalry going on but if I were to choose sides I'd probably pick Eri though truly I wouldn't pick either. They're both annoying. Everyone is annoying. I'm annoying myself for being annoyed by annoying people.
Then the game finally started. Something about putting pedometers on their bodies or something. I stopped paying attention a long time ago. Koharu demonstrates and I caught a glimpse of her spazzing out like she's having a seizure. I let out a chuckle before minding my own business again. I wished this was over already. From there on everything went chaotic, everyone was talking and yelling over each other, trying to get screen time as time was counting down. Eri turns back to me and says something, asking how the segment went. I gave her my response and suddenly she breaks away from me, taking half of the stage with her. It caught me by surprise.
"Bye bye!" She waved at me as the staff pulled her away to the other side of the studio.
I reoriented myself and read the final sentence on the cue card in front of me. "I'm currently looking for a hobby. If you have suggestions, please send them in." Hobbies. Heh, looks like they used my idea after all.
"And cut!" Yells the director and everyone scrambles about the studio. I sighed. I'm glad that was over. I quickly got up from my chair but saw a ball of frills coming in my direction.
"Good job." It says.
"I guess." I answered. "Anyway how did you do that?" I asked Eri.
"Do what?" She asks.
"You're like a whole different person up there."
"It's called acting." She simply replied.
"I know that but why don't you act like that more often in real life. Well, not the obnoxiously annoying part, but the confident part."
"Confident part?" She repeated. "You think I sounded confident?"
"Sure. Maybe if you kept it up you wouldn't be so shy around people." And then you wouldn't have to come to me for stupid dating advice, I finished in my head.
"Wah~ thanks Miki-sama." She smiled. "By the way, I didn't know you were looking for a hobby."
"Yeah, it was a suggestion that was added last minute."
"Oh. Well, why didn't you say that before? I can help you find one!"
"Eh?" I huffed. I already knew that was a bad idea. "No thanks."
"C'mon. It'll be fun."
Suddenly my phone rings. Great timing! I went away from Eri and answered.
"Hey, Tan." Says a voice I haven't heard in awhile.
"Hmm? Who is this?" I pretended not to know.
"Tan, hush. I'm sorry I haven't called lately." I waited for Aya's explanation. "Anyway, we finally came up with a decision!"
"Oh yeah?"
"Yes, they finally agreed to go with my idea, my direction." She sounds so happy I can imagine her jumping up and down.
"That's great, Aya. That means you'll be coming back now, right?" Please say "yes", please say "yes".
"Well..." She mumbled. That sounded iffy. "Now that everything's in the works that means more training and practice."
"So that means..." I started.
"Busy, busy, busy." She finished. "For the next few months."
I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. Not seeing Aya for the next few months? I haven't got to see her at all since the new year began. That's just plain cruel and unusual punishment. "So I won't be able to see you at all?"
"I really want to but this schedule is really tight. You know this is really important to me, Tan."
"But what about me? This is not fair!" I was feeling a little flustered and irritated at the same time.
She sighed. "I'll tell you what, before I even start this busy schedule I'll come see you. How about that?"
"Really? When?"
"This weekend?" She suggested.
"The whole weekend?" I slightly urged.
"Ok." She agreed.
"You better."
"You know I missed you too." She added.
That softened my mood a bit. "Ok, I expect to see you here this weekend."
"Of course."
She was about to let me go before a thought came to my head. "Oh! I found out that guy who called you."
"What guy? That Toji guy?"
"Yeah, it's actually Tomoharu Shouji. Does that ring a bell?"
She hummed for a second. "Not really. Is he famous for something?"
"He's a comedian I heard. You know, that one guy who kept talking to you at that one party we went to awhile back?"
"You mean that tall shaggy fellow?" She finally realized. "I found him annoying, crude, and unkempt."
I grinned like an idiot. "That's why I love you."
"You don't have him on a hit list or something, do you?" She joked.
"What gave you that idea?" Damn, she knows me too well.
"Don't worry. No need to be my bodyguard."
"But that body of yours needs to be guarded." I joked back.
She chuckled on the other end. "Hush, Tan. Don't be causing trouble."
"I'm not, and I won't." I assured her. With that, I no longer had to worry about Aya's heart swaying to another. This guy had no chance.
After reminding her a few more times to be here this weekend, we finally said our 'love you's and 'goodbye's. A huge dorky grin emerged on my face as I anticipated for the weekend to come. The excitement must have overtaken me as I ended up skipping my out into the hallway.
"Something good happened?" A voice from behind startled me like a record scratch, stopping everything I was doing. I turned around and glared at the culprit for ruining my moment. Her.
"And?" I crossed my arms. "So what?"
"Just saying." Eri replied. "Miki-sama should smile more often. It makes her look very pretty."
I wanted to roll my eyes.
Ass kisser~ I thought but I just smirked. "Thanks." I said and patted her on the head. I turned on my heels and started walking away but Eri said something else.
"So how about it?" She asked.
I stopped again and turned around. "What?"
"Find a hobby."
I sighed and shrugged my shoulders. "Whatever."
"How about this weekend?" She asked.
Hell NO! was my immediate thought. "Actually, I..." I started but I was interrupted by Eri's phone. She opens it and blushes when she read her newly received text message.
"What?" My curiousity made me walked toward her. She showed the message to me. It was a picture of a bouquet of flowers followed by a message:
For you~ It read.
I'll give these to you if you let me take you out this weekend. - OzakiAw, how slick. I thought. I should try it on Aya sometimes. I then smirked at Eri who was still blushing. "Well looks like your weekend is booked."
"Yeah, sorry Miki-sama. I guess some other time."
I didn't feel bad at all. "No problem! I have other things to do this weekend anyway."
Aya, ahem. "You go have fun, ne? Be good!" She nodded. Yes! I got her out of my hands for the weekend. Too bad I'll be missing out on dinner though. That's ok, I'll have someone else do that for me. That dorky grin emerged from my face again followed by a little snicker.

Credits to MMBBS for the subs.

I plan on writing chapters of each or most of the segments but I can't seem to find the sub files for them. Methinks the DVD I burned them on to didn't burn properly so I may have lost them

sucks if that's what happened. So if anyone has them that would help alot but I could always make up the whole thing just by watching the videos ne? It's fiction after all

or is it?

So yeah, at this point the story is around mid-January 2007, just to keep everyone with the timeline.
