The team behind Persona are making a game (finally) for the HD generation and coming to the 360 & PS3. But it's not Persona. Instead it's an action adventure game known as Catherine. They're marketing it as an adult game:

And by adult I mean BOOBS

Game Jouhou has posted a bunch of additional details on Catherine, Atlus's new PS3 and Xbox 360 action adventure game.

As detailed below, Catherine is the first HD game from Atlus. It's being made with key members of the Persona staff. Included in the staff list are Katsura Hashino as producer and director, Shigenori Soejima as character designer, and Shouji Meguro as sound composer.

While the game's name is Catherine, the main character is actually a 32-year-old salaryman named Vincent (voiced by Koichi Yamadera). Catherine (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro) is a stylish 22-year-old girl who apparently has the charms of a young girl.

The game begins when Vincent, a vegetarian who has no ambition in work or love (I'm not sure if he's literally a "vegetarian," or if the term "vegetarian" is some sort of metaphor for his personality) runs into the mysterious Catherine one day. At night, he has nightmares.

The nightmares serve as an action component for the game. Set in a world with an unending stairway, Vincent has to make it to the top of the stairs, or he will not be able to awaken.

Based off Game Jouhou's summary, it's a bit unclear how the game will progress. However, it does seem that even during the nightmare action parts, you'll end up working through the story and encountering events.

During a staff interview, Hashino said that as their first HD game, rather than trying out a true RPG, the team was excited about trying out something new. It looks like Catherine will be just that, as Hashino said it will be more adult oriented than past titles from the team. It's not all style, though. Hashino promised a deep play experience with plenty of gameplay for players to sink their teeth into.

Soejima said that there are some shockingly adult scenes in the game. When you play these scenes, they'll be even more stimulating, although in a difference sense.

Meguro confirmed the adult leanings of the title, saying that the keywords for the game's music are "classic," "adult oriented" and "erotic." He also promised 5.1ch sound.

Meguro also made a comment that has Persona fans excited. He said that due to Catherine, he believes for the time being the staff won't be asked about their next title. However, at some point next year, perhaps he'll be able to respond "Regarding the RPG, Hashino and I are..."

I didn't really feel like he was killed at the end of Yakuza 2 anyways.

I love being accused of camping, because I rarely do. If anything I was in their spawn and up in their faces as well as using their own little camping spots against them. Surely that's encouraged?

OH. MY. GOD!!!

Gamescom 2010 was awesome!!! I had a lot of fun (besides of my brother, who was bored like hell and disturbed my fun! <_<).
The gamescom was FULL! It was full, you could take only steps and not right walking, it was insane! X_X I'm uploading right now the photos I took there!

One negative point there was: the Music was TOO LOUD!

and I couldn't play all games that I wanted play ;_; That's very sad... Like Patapon 3, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn... I couldn't play all of them! The waiting line was too long!!!
First, I walked to Hall 6, where Square Enix, EA etc. was... wanted to play BbS but see above; I couldn't play it!

And I missed the Closed Mega Theater of Sqaure Enix, where they showed the FF XIV trailer. D: I could wait for the next Closed Mega Theater on the programm but as I said above.. my brother was bored like hell and disturbed my fun there -.-
Next year, I'll go ALONE!!!

Well... anyway... I walked further to Hall 7, where Konami, Bamco (Bandai Namco) etc. was.... I was at least glad that I could play the demos to Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Master of the Cards (Wii) and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 5... There were two other YGO! games... one was the new Yu-Gi-Oh! (5D's) Online: Duel Accelerator and the other one was Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Decade Duels for the XBOx Live Arcade... The Wii game of 5D's was very slow <_< I don't know, if it was because it was not the final game or was the Wii itself to blame for it... I don't know it. But the game was very slow and I hope that the final version will not be slow. I lost both Duels in both games... Because in the Demo Version, your Deck is FULL with Low Monsters and dump SPell and Trap Cards -.- How can you win so a Duel?!

Next I walked to Sony.. I wanted to play Patapon 3, no chance! You know why, see above!

Then I walked to Hall 8, where Nintendo and some misc. congresses was there... I wanted to play Golden Sun: Dark Dawn... but I couldn't..,. AGAIN! WHY?! The damn waiting line was too LONG!!!

And on my way back to go home (my brother made already a face, like he was going to KILL me! o_O) I got me again on the line of Birth by Sleep, on the hope I could play it... But no chance!

But it was a lot of fun! I'll go next year again, that's for sure!

KOELNMESSE!!! Gamescom was set in this building!! (and will next year too, of course!) Me and my brother entered it through the East Entrance... This is a very HUGE building.. if you don't know, where to go, you are LOST!

On my way to the halls!!! Btw: In the city is a gamescom festival, where you can play the Games too and have on top of it a great Stage with cool bands etc.!

Got to Square Enix and as you can see: The people were waiting to play Birth by SLeep!

Now is the turn of my Wotaku-side for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's!

5D's is the best YGO! series beside of the original series!!!

I love both of them. And I would do anything to get all the games... Btw: The blue pages of YGO! 5D's are from the Konami flyer, that I got at the Konami stand!

In the flyer are the release dates of all the Konami games in there!

I didn't took of all the stands from the halls a picture, because it was full like hell and you couldn't stand on one spot to take a photo!:

That was it! I couldn't take so much photos, like I said above... You couldn't stand on one spot there, the people were always fooling around!

It wasa fun day! And I want to do it again... next year!
