Hmmm I actually have no idea because I beat that boss with infinite ammo and it was over pretty fast lol.

I could come and help you sometime if you're stuck, since I lost my other partner for now..... (JIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!)

If we're talking about Capcom hunks, I really don't see how anyone could top Dante from Devil May Cry (no homo)

Oh christ now I'm stuck. Chapter 3-3 and fighting Irving. It's a lot more difficult when the QTE button pushes flash up and you're given a fraction of a second to react. Maybe it's my partner as well, when you have to take control of the 2 mounted machine guns when he appears behind you, he didn't help me out then and thought a shotgun would be more effective :? So yeh I counted, 20 times I've tried and died. The biggest problem comes with those mini tentacles that emerge from the sea and can grab you. Bloody nuisances.

Tuffty, on PRO mode? Actually when Irving is on the sides of the boat (tentacles and swimming parts), use the S&W M500 (Handcannon). Sucker does over 3k damage when fully upgraded. Your QTE times are also at its base since you are on foot and not mounted on the boats weapons! Also, position plays a big part. During the swim sequence, stand and fire near the edge of the boat (towards Irving), and for the tentacle sequence (keep distance away from Irving). You also don't want to be near your partner during the tentacle sequence since the tentacles can hit sideswipe you when its aiming for your partner.

When Irving finally pops out, again, using the handcannon is the best means to cause significant damage; 3.2k over the mounted guns which cause 450 dmg each hit. Not sure how much the rocket/grenade mounted weapon causes, but the reload time (reload after 1 shot) really phases itself out. I would have one person on the rocket mount and 1 person with the handcannon!

I've beaten pro mode (no infinites) so many freaking times its SICKENING!

Forgive me meowchi, I know not what I do :( But I got past it though even without using the magnums. AI Sheva to the rescue! Just loaded her up with lots of First Aid Sprays just in case and it worked. Now I can move on from that annnoying boss and get back to doing what I do best, popping caps and delivering uppercuts to manjini heads.
