Aaaah, I liked the character of Nao.

Am also watching Taisetsu na Koto wa subete kimi ga oshiete kureta, so far it's shaping up to be a good one. Emi's character in that is surprising and good, didn't realize the show was going to be that serious, plus Erika looks

Some pics and an Erika quote from the Hankyu Densha movie which will open in the Kansai region on April 23rd. A nationwide release is scheduled for April 29th.

Toda commented on her role, saying, “I think there are a lot of women out there who suffer from a similar experience to that of Misa. There is something really important I’d like to convey through her character, and I hope that everyone will be able to see what I mean.” Regarding Nakatani, she added, “I’ve been looking up to her since I was a child. It was truly amazing that I was finally able to get to know her in person. I’ve learned a lot from her, and I definitely want to keep on studying under her from now. Please teach me many more things.”

A different kind of drama Erika starred in was Oh! My Propose which ran last year but only on the web, it ran on “GyaO!”(video portal site) and “Fuji TV♪Fuji melo” (mobile pay-per-month music distribution site). Was only 5 episodes long and they were short episodes at that, here's some shots from it.

Mo Hitotsu no Sugar & Spice, which was a spinoff from the movie, they're short segments, not quite 20 minutes and there were 4 of them. Erika starred in the first 'case', which was the story of Minami, a girl who attends the same university as Yutaka. She secretly likes him, but he has a girlfriend. However, when they break up, Minami and Yutaka begin to get closer, no happy ending though as Minami's jealousy towards Yutaka's ex-girlfriend came back to haunt her.

Here's the files for the Mo Hitotsu no Sugar & Spice video, only about 17 minutes long but it was fairly good.

Another new movie from Erika that's filming now, DOG x POLICE.

Actress Toda Erika (22) has been chosen as the female lead in the movie “DOG x POLICE,” joining starring actor Ichihara Hayato (24). Like Ichihara, she will play the role of a “handler,” or one who trains police dogs.
The movie, announced in February, has Ichihara playing a policeman in a special division that deals with major crimes and disaster relief missions, which includes a unit of dogs trained for tasks such as rescue.
Toda will play Mizuno Natsuki, a colleague of the main character Hayakawa Yusaku (Ichihara). At first, the two are at odds with each other due to their differing viewpoints about work, but they gradually come to understand each other as work partners.
“DOG x POLICE” is scheduled to open in theaters on October 1, 2011.
