Happy Birthday to Akane Takiyama, who turned 19 years old today, May 10!!
Hope she had a great day with family and friends.
She was with NMB48 for about 6 months from May 2011 through December of that year.
She said she was quitting to concentrate on her last year of high school so that she could
attend university.
And sure enough, she is now attending Kwansei Gakuin University. Congratulations for entering
university, and good luck on your studies Akane chan!!!

Her school was founded by a Methodist Missionary in 1889 in Kobe, and the main campus was built in 1929 in Nishinomiya
(between Kobe and Osaka). Architect was William Merrell Vories, who designed the school in the "Spanish Mission Style"-
