7 June – Cutesy Japanese gravure idol and model Ogura Yuko has finally delivered her first child, which turned out to be a baby boy, on 5 June, according to Tokyo Hive.

Ogura's agency reported that the baby, who weighs 2.5 kilogrammes, was delivered at 5.56pm and diagnosed healthy.

Ogura said that it was the happiest moment in her life when she held her baby.

"I'm worried as there are a lot of things that I have never experienced, but with the support from the people around me, I would like to grow up as a mother... I want to raise my angel-like child by giving him a lot of love," said the 29-year-old mother.

Ogura is married to hairstylist and make-up artist Kikuchi Isao back in October 2011. A month later in December, Ogura later announced that she was five months pregnant and went on maternity leave in May as the due date approached.

Her agency stated that Ogura is expected to return to work after she has rested and settled down with her child-bearing responsibilities.
