I confess I just foung this in my blog from early 2009 and I can't remember who it's about!!

it might be "duck lips" members-- or Takamina as I had a mini joke with myself that she had cotton balls in her cheeks (No. Idea. Why.)  BUT I can't remember ever thinking either of them looked cross eyed

And btw I wasn't an AKB48 hater when I was younger I used to make angry and jokey rants about many music related things~ Like Aibutt covering Yossie's lines in H!P!~

I decided to check out BIG BANG because Acchan, Mariko, and Sae wouldn't stop blogging about them. I'm sorry to confess that I've been listening to their music a lot more than AKB48.

Getting back to confessions, I confess that this latest SKE48 concert DVD release has kinda made me wonder if I want to keep buying all of them. As their content and concerts grow, they are starting to get on par with AKB48's absurd concert DVD prices and I'm not so sure I want to throw down 7429 yen on something I'll probably never watch a double-digit amount of times in ... my whole life. Salt in the wounds that the yen is so strong/dollar is so week that this ends up being 90 fucking dollars US. I'm torn because I really do want to support these groups, but this is starting to get really expensive and, considering the amount of times watched, a moderately bad investment.

^I stopped buying concert dvds for the exact reasons you mentioned. Luckily, their dvds tend to go on sale every now and then (70% off on yesasia for example), so with a bit of luck and patience we might be able to score them for a better price later on.

Speaking about making decision, I confess that I stay away from SKE48 just because I don't have enough time to focus on 2 idol groups. From word of mouth I know how awesome they are so I just quit cold turkey and not risk any growing admiration. Can't escape the Matsuis' though...

Because so few people respond to it and it's frustrating trying to be heard over multimedia. Add in the fact that unless it's Acchan, Jurina, or one of that bunch, there just isn't very much to say other than random opinions on blogs and stuff. Not trying to be rude, just saying it like it is.

I confess-- I read a while ago that people were annoyed that there wasn't much discussion in the members threads, and since then I've tried to always post something- even if it's just like "Oh Mariko seems to really like pandas lately "
I'd fallen out of checking the members threads recently so I must go back and force my typed opinions on others!

1. I comfess I don't check the member threads much at all. Probably once every week only for my fave members.
And I haven't made many posts in them at all, cos I have a habit of only posting info and not adding much to discussions. Should start commenting on their appearances at least.
I try not to comment much on the shows at all either, cos I don't want to spoil what happens. I might start doing it more with a whiteout.
Though it'll still be slow-moving with my crazy-thorough proofreading.

2. I comfess I need to earn some cash so I can raid the official AKB HK shop and happily buy some merch.
