Halcali's new song is good. Sounds like Kylie Minogue though. I wonder when japanese will graduate from Kylie when they make dance music.

Norisiam-X is a female rapper made dance music. She changed her name as URALi. This song is her Norisiam-X era though, nowadays she makes grime/new wave music.

I know japanese mainstream pop music doesn't pass in the world. So I thought I introduce the musicians who signed to UK,US indie record label. They're minor not only in the world, but in japan.

Rainstick Orchestra signed to Ninja Tune, and released an album in 2004. As far as I know, DJ Kentaro and them are the only musicians who released from Ninja Tune.

Tujiko Noriko usually release her works from Mego(Austria based indie label). But the album is collabrated AOKItakamasa was released from FatCat Records. Other japanese musicians from FatCat Records are Xinlisupreme(noise/shogaze/experimental rock band), and I've never listened to her music though, Chib(electronica musician) has released an album from FatCat.

Zongamin released an album from XL Recordings in 2003. He isn't listed now though.

So is the two members band, Eriko Toyota and Markus Popp(from Oval). They released one album from Thrill Jockey. Thrill Jockey has some japanese musicians like Nobukazu Takemura, Aki Tsuyuko, OOIOO, and Boredoms.

And maybe I should post it in hiphop thread, DJ Krush from Mo' Wax..Nigo(from Teriyaki Boyz) also relaesed an album from there.

Ultra Living's debut album was released from Creation Records. I don't know if this is true though, currently they're the members of american post-rock/dub band,HiM. The source is wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HiM_(American_band)

Shuta Hasunuma from Western Vinyl. I guess this label is minor. But I found Dirty Projectors there.

Asa-Chang & Junray from The Leaf Label. This song is sang by Kyoko Koizumi(80s idol). Susumu Yokota(house/ambient musician) also is signed to Leaf Label.

Joseph Nothing released two albums from Planet Mu. He'll release new album next month.

Since 2002 or so, Yukihiro Takahashi(ex.YMO,Sadistic Mika Band, etc) makes electronica/pop music as Sketch Show, Pupa and solo. I heard this song will be in the new album of Lali Puna. This is already in his solo album.

NIRGILIS!!
NIRGILIS (ニルギリス) had its beginnings in 1993 at Kinki University when fellow student Koki Ito responded to a flyer posted by Moyo Satake seeking anyone who wanted to form a band with him. Ito then came up with the band name, Nirgilis, which was taken from nirgilis black tea. At first the band line-up consisted of Satake, Ito and three girls. The three girls though quickly departed. New permanent band members were hard to find during this period. Nirgilis went through some 20 people before they would find a stable line-up years later.

and some remixes
