I actually prefer goth-loli too but I think normal lolita fashion suits Suuchan better:

I was so relieved when I woke up halfway through the election to find that she had ranked at all, since I had actually decided I was going to outright ignore the whole thing out of pessimism over the preliminary results.

I feel kind of silly about that now. Anyway, if it hadn't been for that pessimism, I probably would have been upset about the final result, but I'm just happy that she seemingly hasn't lost any fans since last year's election and I hope she'll do better next year.

Was she really just 6 years old when she joined Pinocchio Promotion? I think I read that on Wikipedia once but it was uncited so I wasn't sure. I know she starred in Coco Smile and so on before auditioning for H!P in 2006 but I didn't know for sure that she had started quite that early.
