After listening to the preview, my first thought was "omg, they took Happy Summer Wedding and crossed it with Odore Morning Curry!".

Then as I went on, my mind conjured up a mental image of them in a Arabian palace, prancing around in a lavish dining hall, in front of a banquet table laden with bowls of curry, and dressed in Indian saris...

And then my mind broke down around then.

Eh, techno-y sounds don't really work me, but I couldn't help getting a golden era vibe from it all, which hopefully is a good thing. I think the PV is definitely going to be interesting.

WTF is up with the chipmunking all over the place? Did they fast-forward the track?  It's like Tsunku wrote another Nanchatte, and UFA was like "Didn't you see the backlash with Nanchatte being too like Shouganai?" and Tsunku was like, "Okay, then speed it up and throw some WTFery into the arrangement. They'll think it's not emo because it's faster."

The pre-chorus and chorus syncopation is still very modern-Tsunku. Along with the strings. Huh, so Golden Age was characterized by brass, will New Golden be strings-based?

Dude, that bass line is epic. Especially during the chorus. Manic like Tokkaiko's intro.

And throwback to Nanchatte during the bridge? Then right back into the crack. 

This is weeeeeeiird.  I keep expecting the good ol' "HOO! HA!"s instead of "HOY HOY". And for them to break into "souda souda souda mattaku..." 

I expect crack-dance. Which will be disconcerting since we haven't seen real crack-dance since ONSA. Maybe they'll take a page from Berryz, since this is so similar to Seishun Bus Guide.

Remember when every Momusu single used to be TOTALLY different from the previous one?? Like Sexy Boy --> Ambitious --> Aruiteru --> Egao Yes Nude. Or Joshi kashimashi --> Namida --> Manpower --> Osaka koi no uta. It was WILD and awesome! Sadly I didn't know to appreciate it then!

Now it's like Naichau kamo --> Shouganai Yume Oibito --> Nanchatte Renai --> Kimagure Princess.
Meh --> Meh --> Meh --> Meh.

Sorry I don't mean to be a party pooper but these frickin zzz songs are doing nothing to help their popularity. It's like unimaginative emo dance crap D: (Kimagure trying to hide the emoness with crack, but it's there) Resonant Blue still had some edge but after that? Agghh

I don't usually listen to previews, but for some reason I decided to check this one out. I like the pace of the song, but it sounds a bit too techno/trance-y to me.  While I was excited that Eri's getting to be one of the leads in this song, it sounds pretty obvious to me that they added a synthesizing effect to her vocal track. Eri's vocal range is high enough, but with this she sounds almost like Yuukarin to me, which is neither a bad nor a good thing, just the impression that it gave me.

Ahahahaha! I have to agree though sadly. I do enjoy their recent songs very much, but yup, definitely time to change to something completely different.

the beat is more uptempo, finally, and I do like the fact that Eri is the lead, if that indeed is the case, I heard her voice through most of the songs anyway.  But...  I wonder if this song can be performed live with little problems.  the verses sounds like synth and the speed is like 1.5x of normal.  If they try to sing live, I just can't help that they'll be out of breath during the middle.  the chorus ain't too bad, though. I really like it.  

now, the similarity between this and SYO/NR is debatable... personally, it sounds not as emo as SYO/NR, but still a little emo, but a happier emo.  actually i think it have the same feel along the lines of Aki Urara.  granted, I dunno japanese so I can't say what the feelings should be like according to the lyrics, I'm just thinking by feel.

I guess I could be happy, I just wanted a more upbeat, cheerful songs like several of their last b-sides.  from what I see, I think it's gradually climbing from the emo well, just not out yet.  COME ON, TSUNKU-SAN!  

I still like it nonetheless, so definitely buying and support Morning Musume!  
(gotta start saving,  *checks the couch for quarters, but found pennies* )
