only band I've heard of from the ones mentioned is phantasmagoria, which is one of the few viskei bands I actually listen to every once in a while lol

Gotta bump this.

So, the new 9mm ep came out. What does everyone think of it? Seven tracks, but only two actual new songs. The rest are re-recordings of older songs. The lack of new material is pretty disappointing, but the two new songs are pretty kickass. The title track is especially good. I really like it.

wait... they signed with capitol records... so they're not exactly indie... still managed by zankyo so I guess they just have a bigger budget now

lol, bigger budget probably contributed to the cool effects in the PV. I remember Cool Joke also had that rock out on top of rock formations while something disastrous is happening in the background theme. Though they had the cheesy exploding volcanoes.

i downloaded the EP cuz i remember thier name being mentioned in MotFD's website... so i checked them out.

anyhoo... great stuff, the rerecordings are nice too. my fave track would be Heat-Island

Cool. I find toddle the least impressive of the NG kids and the debut was still pretty good.

I'm sure Tabuchi can do better, especially if she fixes the main problem - the vocals.

okay.. what's up with gackt's new single? it sounds a lot like Mind Forest (crescent, track 2)
