I watched their PV for "Cyndee... come back" a few days ago on their myspace. I don't know if it was supposed to be funny, but I lol'd.

Yo..Luna Sea fans might wanna check out this piece of news...

LUNA SEA begins mystery countdown

Rock band LUNA SEA seems to have a surprise in store for fans. The group's official site has been updated with an image reading "God Blessed You." Clicking on the image leads to another site, which displays a moon and a number, which has been counting down daily. The countdown ends on August 28, the date of the upcoming lunar eclipse.

No one knows yet what the day will bring for LUNA SEA fans, though some are speculating about the possibility of the band reuniting.

A reunion? Wahey!

Yeah, I've been watching that site. Not getting too excited... My guess is that there's gonna be another "best of" type release. It'd be cool if it was an actual reunion, though.
Been a good year for reunions; X Japan, Luna Sea, Oblivion Dust, Siam Shade... Hope there are more to come.

Sweet, man. Saw it listed at Keikaku.net some time ago. Oh how I've been waiting for this. I've loved all their releases, and their first album is one of my all-time faves.

This new preview track sounds really intense... Man, I have such high expectations! xD

They also put out a live DVD last month... I gotta get my hands on that as well.

wooh, one of my favorite instrumental/post rock bands.

I saw a little clip of a te' live, and they seemed crazy. I'd love to see them some day.

Inspiration is DEAD seems to be getting mixed reviews, although most is praise.

My copy won't arrive until next week, gah.

SWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY~~~~

After listening through it once, I'm really liking "Nakano Kill You" and "I not crazy am your are" the most, but every song was good. The album is actually a lot more different than I expected it to be. I wasn't expecting am3:45 to be so post-rock which was a nice touch. And  @ the ballad, though they pulled it off pretty nicely. You can actually tell TK can sing pretty damn good. And those notes he held in the end, fucking insane.

I don't know if it's my ears, headphones, the rip, or the production, but the drums and bass really seemed to be a little overpowering at times and TK's guitar was hidden behind a little to many effects for my tastes. It didn't really get me like #4 and Feeling your UFO did but it's still a really great album overall. It amazes me that there are only 3 of them. I'm probably gonna be listening to this a whole bunch of times for the next few days.

After listening through the album, the first thought that hit me was "where is the metal?".

My favorite track has to be 'i not crazy am you are', it's brilliant. 345's solo track is also pretty sweet. The only disappointment, if even considered one, is the remake of Akai Yuuwaku.

well the metal was pretty much all in the drumming. the most metal part of the album was the first few seconds of "nakano kill you" I mentioned earlier.

^ Let's start the 'we want ling remake' internet petition!  :w00t:

Ahh well couple listens down, and can't really pinpoint my fave tracks yet. Well, I'm just letting it run in the background while coding at work anyway. xD There are moments of brilliance scattered throughout the album, TK has some fucking amazing guitar trickery thrown around everywhere.

I wasn't sure what to expect after the previews, which I didn't think were that impressive. But this album fucking is.

They did it again. This is gonna spin for a long time.

And yeah the "metal" is pretty much all in nakano kill you's beginning, haha. xD
