I think people were just happy that it wasn't anything like Zazen Boys III... coz that album sucked hard.

I remember I thought ZB4 was fine, but I haven't listened to it since it came out.

ZB III was soooo effin good. ZB IV is probably their worst album. It was still okay.

ZBIII was epic... you guys are on crack

ZBIV is hella inconsistent, but the 3-4 tracks that really standout makes up for it. plus mukai sings for once... !

Well the synth was a surprise. Beginning sounded kinda weird, but gets pretty groovy as it goes on.

2010 First Musical Guest: Dazzle Vision
Sakura-Con is pleased to present 2010's first musical guests: Dazzle Vision.

Popular in the Japanese indie scene for their hard rock sound and Maiko's alternating melodic/death-voice vocals, Dazzle Vision was formed in June 2003, and has held their current lineup since May 2008.

Dazzle released their first album "Origin of Dazzle" in November of 2006. Their second album "Camellia Japonica" was released in April 2007, followed by an 11-city tour of Japan. After selling out of the first presses of "Origin of Dazzle" and "Camellia Japonica," their 3rd album "Crystal Children" hit #1 on HMV's pre-sale chart and #2 on Tower Records pre-sale chart prior to its official release in November 2008.

Dazzle Vision's appearance at Sakura-Con will mark their first live performance in North America.

I didn't find a thread for them here. Amy one know about them? They any good? I was hoping for a H!P act to be anounced first.

hmmm the new sgt. seems very different too from the previews. More jazz and rock influence, a little more mathematical and not as melodic. Not sure how I really feel about it though. Might go see them on their release tour in Nov.

I have their Bird Hotel album, its quite good
