Uchida won the first janken competition and got some good exposure out of it, and it even echoed through in her Majisuka Gakuen role.
However, we're a year later now... Shinoda is the new janken queen and Uchida didn't even make top 40 during the latest senbatsu election.

I think she made the most out of the chances she got, but somehow it wasn't enough? Once a theater girl, always a theater girl?
She's almost a bit like a thinner Narita Risa... perhaps a good IV can change her fortune?

Uchida has constantly ranked last in my Team K rankings. I'm not sure what to say..

I don't dislike her at all, and it's not that I've ever been upset or disappointed by anything she has done. I'm not sure how to word it except that I just like everyone more. She doesn't really grab much of my attention sometimes. That song she did with Shiichan at Tokyo Aki Matsuri was quite hilarious, though. I like her in Gyakuten Oujisama, as well. I also felt a bit bad for her in the janken single. I really felt like they should have had fun with it and treated it like an actual release, but between all the B-sides where the focus clearly went, the A-side felt like such an obvious, gimmicky afterthought. But still, at least she did get some exposure after it though. Like Barrie says, though, it didn't seem to stick. At least she isn't alone. Ue kara Mariko didn't seem to have much steam behind it either.

Anyways, ain't nothing wrong with her. She has her cool moments. My focus is just elsewhere. It's impossible to be a fan of everything equally. That's all it is.

Uchida on Bimyo~ is pretty great, she's always given all these non-speaking/background roles but is still funny. Fuckin rock character, what is that. Good on you Uuchii.

Bimyo has been a gift from heaven for several members, including Mayumi.....girl is funny, cute, full of fight, and every skit she is in, she puts the most into the part. She's not afraid of the camera, either. Given some more support, I think she would do well in drama and variety.
