Don't even ask about this one. I guess you can say I have a sick mind. *shrugs* Don't hurt me though! I got inspired by a picture to make this and yes my mind is weird and all sorts of screwed up for this. I also did intend it to be creepy and kind of graphic as well. I hope you all will still be able to enjoy it though. Let me know if I should continue this fic.

Title: Forgotten Past

CHAPTER 1: Hunger

Silence.

That was something at this very moment the girl decorated in black was grateful to come across. There were times when she hated it and other times where she could deal with it. The silence for this particular moment though she enjoyed it. She embraced the stillness with welcoming arms and possibly the faintest smile to her young features.

Her latest antics had lead her to quite an awfully noisy and time consuming task to complete in just several hours. She had never worked so hard or so quickly. She didn't intended to stay long, but like before she had lost control. The young girl easily slipped into her inner beast, which lead her to a both messy and tiring after math. Her body was drained and her head was pounding from the splitting migraine, leaving her no space to gloat for what she believed to be her largest and most amazing accomplishment.

She was grateful that she worked alone. Such a deed like tonight's task was best left just between herself. She didn't want to let anyone see her barbaric actions except for herself. For a moment, she did want to show her job well done to others, but her need to gloat and the smirk was quashed. The only thing currently on her mind was a change of clothes and a long shower.

A trip to her queen sized silk sheet bed was also highly desired, but first she had to wash away the metallic scented liquid that decorated her tall and lean frame. She would have expected to get accustomed to its smell. She had most certainly gotten comfortable to its sight, but its smell and its taste did not seem to change. The fact that the salty liquid clung to her perfectly smooth skin almost like a second layer as it dried didn't make matters better on her end to grow an immunity to its sticky texture. The desire to find a nearby bathroom in pure darkness became much greater.

She needed to wash away her memories of tonight's horrific events somehow and a shower had always done the trick to keeping her sane and focused to the objective of her actions. Guilt and regret were emotions that she did not have a chance to feel. She did not have time to care, to be happy, or to think. She had told herself many times before that emotions didn't matter yet the strange tingle did not stop from awakening into the pit of her stomach when she was done.

That feeling had came once before, but never this often. What would normally last mere seconds turned into minutes the instant it began on her drive home and had yet not finished its course. But like always, she did not dwell on such a sensation just like her emotions and kept her thoughts of much needed sleep to the back of her mind the minute her feelings have not subsided.

If she were able to sleep everything off without the risk of terrifying nightmares plaguing her dreams she would be set to start a new day. That wasn't always guaranteed, but it was something she liked to believe when she returned back home at the dead of night. It was bed enough that she was left to wallow in her sinister deeds that no ordinary teenager should have to deal with in their life. Grabbing the golden knob to her destination, the black haired teen stepped inside and turned the taps to the faucet. She ran her frail hands through the running ice cold water.

At the bottom of the sink, her eyes attentively watched the liquid go from clear white to red and finally a soft tint of pink. The pink water swirled at the drain of the sink fell straight into the dark hole. Rich crimson red fluids slipped from her snow colored skin, leaving her hands once again spotless and neat. She made sure to dig under her nails for any lingering blood she had forgotten, while working steadily through the dark without a word.
Satisfied with her results, she leaned against the counter top of the faucet and stared back into the haunting image in front of her that happened to be her cold and lifeless reflection. Her eyes remained large and filled with an all too innocent spark, she could not be fooled with what really is beneath that mask of steel now adorned with splotches of thick red colored blood just like her hands. The metallic tasting substance was everywhere, her clothes, her face, even into the edges of her hair.

Still transfixed to the replica of her current self, she picked up a black strand of hair between her index and middle finger to examine the shade of red that had settled deep between her locks perfectly. Clumps of hair stuck together in rusted splatters of dried blood, staining her raven colored locks. She let the piece go and ran a finger across her rounded cheeks, smearing a fresh coat of blood just below her eye. She bit her lower lip, no longer fixated on the image in front of her, but on what she had done for tonight's substantial thirst.

She did not however, stay too long on self reflecting and began to tear at her blood soaked clothing that will later have to follow the rest of her tarnished outfits into the dumpster. She could not believe she allowed her urge to take control of her and kill anything that moved. She was normally so poised, so collective, and organized. Tonight had been a bad time to listen to her midnight cravings.

She vowed it were to never happen again even if she strongly believed every last evil soul deserved her choice of punishment to their illegal activity of murdering and torturing the innocent. She liked to believe she was doing the right thing not just comfort for herself, but as her reasoning to why she's done this countless times for as long as she could remember.

Stripped of her clothing, the angelic faced girl ran the water to her tub, making sure to turn the water hot then switched the direction of the falling water into her lifeless shower-head. Within seconds, strings of clean steaming water shot from the tiny holes of her curved shower-head like rain. She carefully stepped inside and put her head under the rushing water, watching the water once again change to a crimson color then disappear. She remained under the hot liquid, immune to the burning sensation the steaming water created to her tender flesh.

The pain she felt brought a small fraction of peace, because it drew her mind away from the type of thoughts she did not want to think about and nor did she ever want to. With half lidded eyes, she reached out to the bar of soap, resting beside her and began to scrub away all the dirt and blood that sunk to her skin, but that wouldn't be all she washed away. Her thoughts and doubts went right along with it and into the drain once again.

CHAPTER 2: Our Little Secret

Like expected, she had gotten very little sleep. She had went through too much tossing and turning then she expected. The teenager was sure she did not get even the smallest amount of sleep like many restless nights before. This time, she felt her body paying the toll. She wasn't in the brightest mood, not that she was a friendly person.

She rather stayed to herself. She usually put herself in a state where she can contain herself from snapping an aggravating person's neck that she would bump into on occasional days.

Today, she wasn't quite sure if she could stop herself from ending an angering situations with violence.

Blindly, the exhausted young woman walked through the elongated narrow halls of her house and went straight into the living room. Upon entering the room, she frowned when her eyes settled to the warm colored walls. She remembered how she was talked into making her home look more welcoming and happy.

She will never get why decorating her house was so important. She would never come to understand her partner's joy for painting the walls. That burning joyfulness also made it harder for the dark haired teenager to hide her dislike for the choice of colors. These shades and tints all over her house were more of an eyesore than an accomplishment, but a certain person who was stationed into the middle of a black leather couch thought otherwise.

The girl sitting comfortably into the couch was attentively watching the flickering squared TV centered in the middle of the room. The taller young woman locked eyes with the pigtailed girl as she made her way toward the kitchen entrance.

“You're up early. Don't you have work at five?” The pigtailed-woman spoke.

She noticed the younger girl's change of clothes, ready to leave.

She watched her tall doe-eyed girlfriend navigate herself through the living room with groggy half closed eyes. Her mouth opened and her hand covered the yawn that slowly seeped its way out, while she entered the kitchen.

“I'm coming in early today. I forgot to do some work yesterday.” She lied.

The pigtailed-girl frowned. “When will you be back this time?”

The taller girl shrugged, unaware of her girlfriend's visible pout of disapproval. Before she could pour herself a cup of cold orange juice, her eyes went to the flickering TV once again. She raised a brow in curiosity to her partner.

“You're watching the news?” She lightly questioned.

“Yeah, there's been a massacre in a warehouse just eight blocks from here can you believe it? Nine men were found dead.” The procaine-skinned girl replied, terror shivering in her voice.

The other girl was however, unaffected. Her face held not even the slightest emotion as she stood processing the new found data.

“Hm, really?” She muttered.

The lean girl turned back around to pour herself a cup of cold orange juice. With her back turned, she saw this as her chance to smile, amused at her own fake act of surprise. She spun back around, her smirk gone, and took a sip of the yellow tinted juice before exiting the kitchen. She stood to the armrest of the couch and pointed a finger at girlfriend with the hand that held the cold cup.

“Wait, that isn't why you don't want me to go to work late today, is it?” She asked.

The smaller girl slouched in her seat. “No.” She shook her head to her lie, making her curly pigtails bounce in her action.

“Sayumi.” The younger girl scolded.

“Okay, yes, but it's only because I care about you! I don't want you to end up dead if there is some crazy killer out on the loose.” Sayumi admitted. “I'm your girlfriend. Shouldn't I show some sort of affection or care towards you? We do live in the same house you know?”

The other girl stood silent, taking in Sayumi's words of truth. She wasn't quite sure what was going through her, but if she had to name this emotion turning inside her it would have to be guilt and she didn't enjoy guilt.

A deep sigh escaped her mouth and her still full cup was placed to the side table near the couch. “I have to go. We'll talk about this later if I'm not back too late.” She replied.

The taller dark haired girl raced to the front door for safety, knowing Sayumi wouldn't be able to follow.

“Koharu, wait!” Sayumi yelled, but Koharu was already gone.

The small bunny shut off the television and sulked into the couch with her arms crossed over her chest. Her mind was too worked on her girlfriend's sudden escape during the start of a very serious conversation. She also couldn't stand how Koharu brought her job as an excuse to hightail out the door. It was time as a couple they had such a conversation to clear many uncertain issues that was rapidly building around their relationship.

Sayumi wasn't even sure if their relationship would be able to stand another year yet alone another month or day. The highly upset rabbit could not be sure about their foggy future herself and it scared her. In need to wash away all the doubts, Sayumi decided to take a bath to relax until Koharu had returned home. Only then will their conversation continue. Sayu would wait as long as she needed to.

She was going to have that talk even if she had to trap Koharu into a room with her to speak for longer than just a minute. The twenty year-old was determined.

***

Unfortunately, after Koharu's hasty exist she couldn't drive to make a quick visit to a mutual friend and did not feel like going back inside to retrieve the ring of keys. Not wanting to take responsibility, Koharu was left with no other choice, but to take the train. A form of public transportation she did not enjoy, but she needed to make this visit for urgent matters. Koharu wasn't exactly a talkative type of person and could not deal well with large crowds, but she was hoping her new job offered some type of improvement to her social skills.

The progress was slow, but she noticed her change in communication during the day, though at night she became a much different person. She didn't see that as much of a problem, being that at night she had other things in mind and was not trying to make friends in her work. The job required an emotionless face and quick almost thoughtless impulses.

During her wait on her thirty minute train ride, she realized the glove department to the dashboard of her car needed to be cleaned thoroughly of the various weapons nestled into the hidden compartment.

The more she thought about the contains hidden inside, the more she remembered that she would have to dispose not only the weapons, but the entire car itself, which is a large amount of evidence to revealing her secret. There was no way she could get rid of the blood stains seeped into the rug or the splotches stuck into the cloth of her driver seat either.

Her safest choice would be to trash it. Until then, she had three hours to kill and why not spend it in an all too familiar yet risky place? Maybe she could locate her latest target and after, with any time left over before work, she could get rid of her car. She knew a friend at the junkyard that could get the job done with no questions asked.

Looking through the front door windows, she made her way inside, marching through the rows of desk and busy working officers to one place in mind out of hundreds of rooms in the many leveled police station.

Her eyes scanned for the certain person she's spoken to many times before. Spotting the cop speaking with another worker at his desk, Koharu quickened her pace less than twelve steps away. The brown haired female police looked from the desk and spotted Koharu easily.

“Koha, what a pleasant surprise.” The officer whispered.

“Shut it Takahashi.” Koharu snapped, stomping her way passed her friend and straight into Ai's office, hinting for her to follow.

The short woman excused herself from her co-worker and placed a stack of papers in her hand back to the desk then made her way to the open office door with a much more serious expression. She knew Koharu was having one of her moments and at a time like this getting on her bad said would not be the brightest idea. Ai scanned the area around her before closing the door and shut the shades. The young officer's attention went back to the young girl standing at the foot of her desk.

“So, do you have a reason why you're walking into this station like you're about to kill someone?” Ai watched Koharu flinch at the word “kill” That was more than enough for her to piece everything together. “You've seen the news I'm assuming?”

Koharu let out a small chuckle. “I've seen it alright.” She confirmed. “I was there wasn't I?”

Ai went over to her desk and took a seat. “You're just here because you want to know if you've done a good job at clean up, right?” The young woman nodded. Ai leaned back into the chair. “Considering how messy you've made that place I would say you're in the clearing. No finger prints or survivors, but Jesus Koharu, did you have to turn it into a slaughter house? You only needed to kill one person.”

She watched Koharu's stance change again to a more stiff pose and the aura around her darken. The line of her control was thin.

“I did what I had to. I've done my side of the deal now you need to do yours.” Koharu spat.

Her voice was stern, no room for arguments and Ai did not want to pick a fight with a psychopath, but she also knew making a deal with one was just as dangerous and against her code as a fellow police officer. A large amount of her wanted to back out, but another part of her wanted to get the people who have slipped away from the court's punishment and spotted loopholes in their poorly run justice system.

It might have not been fair, but these people were low life scum no one would care much about if they were to die tomorrow or any other day. Ai considered this a favor to cleaning up the mess this city was covered in and even if she had to start small it wouldn't matter. There were no more changes of words, Ai opened the last draw to her desk and flopped a stack of files right on top into a tan folder.

Her gaze still locked on to the unstable young woman in front of her, she slide the file to the front of her desk. Koharu took the folder into her hands to give the contains inside a brief look.

“Feel free to pick who you want to target next. You can keep that folder too. It's a copy of the original files no one will suspect a thing. Just next time try to be less messy will you?” Ai asked. “Don't worry about the investigation I'll handle it.”

Koharu closed the folder, pleased with her vast variety of criminals she can extinguish. They exchanged a stern glance and Koharu turned back towards the door to make her way out. She still had one more thing to attend before work. If she hurried now she could get her car taken care of then stuff the files into her hidden box back at home.

Sayumi should be out by now either working or shopping. Koharu let out a deep sigh. She was going to have a long day ahead of her.

I did not think this story would surprise me the way it just did. Killer Koha with Girlfriend Sayu and Cop Takahashi? Definitely a different take on murder as usual around here!

CHAPTER 3: Clean Up

“Thanks for letting me drop my car here.” Koharu spoke, gratefully to the short old man in front of her.

The man's wrinkled face formed into a small smile as he bowed his head politely to his regular costumer. His small thin shaped eyes focused to the candy blue color car parked into his junkyard ground, waiting to be disposed. Koharu gave her car one last look then looked back to the short man in question. He knew her question long before it came and spoke before her question could leave her mouth.

“I will take care of it. Your car will be crushed and melted to be recycled again.” He guaranteed,  a foreign accent clear in his words. “I'll get rid of your guns too. No need to worry.”

Koharu smiled, relieved by his words of trust. It meant one less problem to worry about. One less piece of evidence to make her slip and have her behind bars. She wasn't sad to see her new car go. She was overjoyed and ridden of fear.

The sooner it was melted down to its liquid form the better. This process couldn't be fast enough.

“I'll get you a new car in no time. I know a man who will help you have the same exact car.” The olden foreigner added. “Just come back here to get it when you're done with work.”

Koharu stared into his clouded eyes. Her pupils turned to slits at his sealed deal. She hated to be let down and those who were not true to their words would be sorry. This wasn't a laughing matter or fun  and games. She needed to clean herself of her crime and the people. She always reminded people like this old man to keep their word and be wise to what they say.

Koharu took their word and once that happened, breaking it would be something they would wish never happened. Her mouth turned into a thin line as she let the man's words sink into her head to remember for later.

“I'll keep you to your word.” She spoke, with venom dripping from every word.

With those words said, the young woman left the man to take in her warning, while she made her way towards the back door to leave the junkyard. Koharu didn't get very far out the shop's front door, a particular girl standing besides the door had caught her attention.

Searching the back of her mind briefly, she put together that this mysterious girl had not been here when Koharu entered the front door. That made the discrete killer all the more curious and weary. The two girls locked eyes, almost with a challenging stare in completely silence. Koharu took this as her time to examine this stranger's appearance properly.

The girl leaning against the door frame was much taller than Koharu. Her hair was long straight threads of black layered locks, decorating her rounded chubby cheeks. The stranger's expression was grave, but held a tint of curiosity toward Koharu. The unknown girl also didn't wear a dull colored worn down jumpsuit like the gray haired man in the back.

Instead, she had on a clean white T-shirt and snug baby blue jeans, finished with neat brand-new white sneakers. She couldn't possibly work here, but she had the attitude as if she ran this place.

“You'll need a ride to work.” She stated.
Like the man out back, she too had an accent. Koharu wasn't quite sure what accent it could be, but they were obviously not natives to standard Japanese. She didn't care so much on who they were or what language they spoke fluently. Koharu just needed to leave and she knew she couldn't do that quick enough if she didn't have a car. The walk to her job would be too long and she would be extremelylate.

“Are you offering me a ride?” Koharu shot back.

The tall unnamed girl shrugged, shifting her gaze to the side of her and back to Koharu. “I could be.” She replied. “My uncle wouldn't mind.”

That answered the question as to why she was here. Everything else didn't matter however since Koharu's main goal was to leave and be at work on time.

“I have to get to work in thirty minutes so if you are going to drive me then do it, because I don't have time to wait or play around.” Koharu growled, tired of their game she unwillingly joined.

Koharu was given a chuckle and watched as slowly a smirk appeared to the foreign girl's chubby face.

“The car's out front come on. I can get you to work on time. It might not be safe, but it'll get you there.” She agreed, done with the game herself that she had started. “My name is Li Chun, but you can call me Jun Jun.”

Koharu didn't say anything back. She wasn't here to make friends and it made things better if the people she asked to clean her dirty tracks with were better off not knowing her name. Not that she would get caught or any of these people would squeal on her. She would without hesitation slit their throats just as easily when they decided to open their mouths to speak. The raven-haired teenager already had her plan set to tie the loose ends if she needed too.

It made things easier when Jun Jun didn't turn around on their way out the door to ask for Koharu's name in return. They just kept quiet and minded their own business. That's how things should be kept. No questions and in return people can go on with their life and attend back to the things they needed to do. Koharu enjoyed to have things run this way.

 ***

“Ah, there you are. I've been wondering when you would show up!” A wavy haired woman spoke, as Koharu marched her way through the double doors of the hospital.

“I had car trouble.” Koharu replied, her eyes darting around the busy hospital room. It was a lot noisier than she last expected. “There's more people than usual.”

“Yeah, You'll have to stay a little longer. You don't mind do you? I'm sure you can use the training.” The older woman answered.

It took Koharu a moment to answer. She didn't like to stay at this hospital any longer than she had to for her daily training and the fact that today of all days it decided to be extra busy didn't make anything more appealing to her. She still had one more trip to take care of and didn't want to keep it on hold, but it seemed like she would have to. The killing for tonight would have to wait.

“It isn't a problem.” Koharu responded.

A bright and friendly smile appeared to one of her boss's face as a silent thank you. Koharu gave a brief nod, not quite sure how to react to such a warm and welcoming smile. She's been working with this woman for quite some time and yet she still hasn't been able to adapt to her cheery behavior or heart warming smiles that always got frighten children to get their shots to calm down.

“Thanks, I can really use your help. You've been good at knowing proper injects quickly. I'm impressed. I hope you don't mind working with children since most are here for their shots and you know how children can get.” The other woman chuckled, putting on an apologetic look knowing how much of a handful children can be when it came to needed shots.

“Niigaki-san, we need you for a second.” A nurse called from the side.

Risa turned around, excusing herself from their talk. “I'll be right there.” She faced back toward Koharu. “I'm sorry we'll talk later. I'm always so busy. Don't forget to put on your lab coat and if you need any help let me know.”

Koharu nodded and watched Risa scurry away. Viewing her surroundings, Koharu's dark eyes took in the amount of people that had decided today would be their daily doctor visit and a handful if not more were children all waiting in alined seats to get their shots. She let out a deep sigh and walked over to pull on her lab coat and get straight to work. If she hurried now she might be able to leave quicker.

 ***

“Who drank MY soda?!” A young female voice shrilled, through the underground laboratory.

Sitting back into a computer chair with her black shoes resting comfortably on top of the computer desk and legs crossed, the brown haired teenage girl put on a small grimace to the sound of that annoying high pitched voice disturbing her much needed peace. She hated how that young whiny girl yelled into the silence lab, but what she hated more was how she said the brown haired girl's name the most. It was always said in this tone that got on her nerves every time it was heard and still had not changed to leave that type of effect on the slim girl who was just trying to relax after a hard day of physical training a type of training the brown haired girl did not enjoy.

“Reina!” The shrill voice yelled again.

Reina cringed at the sound of her name coming out of the younger girl's mouth and put her feet back to the ground and spun around toward the entrance of the computer lab to greet her co-work with a large and deadly frown. The slick oil shinned metallic double doors to the lab pulled apart with a swoosh, bringing a gust of air in with it and a small girl with short black hair marched angrily into the room. The two girls locked eyes ready to go at each others' throats like they've always done since they've been assigned to work in this underground dump as a team.

“What is it Aika?” Reina snapped, her hands at her sides bunched into tight fists.

“That's Mitsui-san to you!” Aika shrieked, ignoring the flinch she gotten from her suddenly raised voice.

Reina let out a scoff and grinned. “You wish!”

“You drank my soda didn't you?! That was the last one and I was saving that for my lunch!” Aika accused, getting straight to the point of her annoyance.

“I didn't drink it! Besides, anything in that refrigerator isn't yours. I didn't even see your name on it.” Reina denied.

“Obviously you can't read because my name was on there! Anyone who isn't illiterate can see that.” Aika sneered.

Reina glared to the younger across from her, wanting nothing more than to place a fist to her face the day they met, but as Maki told her. She had to play the older person and be the proper senpai to this young genius. Reina didn't like how Aika's smarts with technology and sharp memory had gone to her head since she was hired to work for the government. Reina despised her and Aika did just the same.

“What are you trying to say, pipsqueak?!” Reina growled.

“If you weren't so conceded with yourself and thought of others for once maybe we wouldn't be having this argument!” Aika shot back.

Reina stood from her chair. She's had enough with the remarks and the yelling directed to her from a person who should be a lot more respectful to her senpais and one of them being Reina.

“You know I'm getting tired of hearing your voice and I don't know if you can tell, but I do NOT like you Aika, so can you please get the hell away from me and don't come complaining to me about your missing stupid can of soda!” Reina demanded.

“I don't have to listen to you! You're not in charge.” Aika equipped, arms folded in front of her chest.
“Listen you little...”

“Reina, I'll handle this.” A older voice interrupted.

The two girls turned toward the doorway both wondering how their leader in command could get through the front door without any of them knowing. The taller and much older woman walked to the two once bickering girls, keeping her posture tall with ease with every step. She looked down to both of the shorter girls, disappointed. They turned their heads away at the scorning glare.

“Aika, you shouldn't be blaming Reina for something she might have done and Reina learn to control your temper. I know you two might not like each other, but I need both of you to work as a team so we can all complete this mission successfully and safely.” The taller woman explained.

“I'm sorry Goto-san.” Aika apologized.

“Yeah...me too.” Reina grumbled.

Maki smiled pleased with her end results to her small lecture. “That's much better, besides Reina you can save your anger for your first mission.” Maki informed.

The thin girl's head picked up with excitement. She wouldn't have to stay in this lab again with nothing to do. She finally had something more fun and daring to do.

“You found something for me?!” Reina asked.

“Yes, we might have a lead on where she might be staying thanks to Aika's quick thinking.” Maki replied, giving Aika a small smile of praise. “You'll need to pack your best weapons before you leave.”

“I'm on it.” Reina sprinted toward the door, eager to get started. Half way to the exit, she stopped and spun around. “Who is this girl by the way? I've seen pictures, but I haven't gotten a name yet don't you think that's important for me to know?”

Maki nodded agreeing with Reina's exclamation. “Her name is Kusumi Koharu. You'll know more about her after you're done packing.” Maki promised.

Reina nodded and walked out the door in a hurry.

Aika turned her attention back to her leader. “Don't you think we should have one more person tagging along with Reina, Goto-san?” She questioned.

“The less people in this mission the less people we lose.” Maki responded.

Aika watched Maki's eyes darken with dread and Aika's eyes widen as realization hit her. This could very well be Reina's last mission.

Sayu's Kuharu's girlfriend. Kuharu's working like a vigilante, a psychopath vigilante, and her works came from Ai, a law officer, and Reina works for the government. Someone slipped?  :dunno:    Maki's Reina's boss  :luvluv2:  Aika's a genius, Jun's a mole?  :? And Risa’s a doctor with heart warming smiles  :wriggly:    Two more left, Linlin and the Turtle. *gets some popcorn while waiting for the update*

Isn't it ironic that Koharu is working in a hospital in the day and obliterate people in the night, even if they are criminals :P

CHAPTER 4: One Of These To Go

Koharu's chance to leave the hospital wasn't soon enough for the young nurse in training. The constant crying, screaming, running, and scolding parents had not only given Koharu a slight headache, but just about brought her to her limit with handling other people. She found herself wanting to be isolated again away from society, mainly for precaution measures to not harm her patients. As if the headche weren't enough, Sayumi made frequent phone calls to Koharu's cell since she had not been out of work at her regular time and obviously was having a panic attack to her girlfriend's delayed appearance.

The tall black haired teenager did not acknowledge the calls either and did not bother to pick up every time Sayumi called. Koharu figured she would pick up when she wanted to not because she had to. She had one more thing to handle, but of course she wouldn't tell Sayumi that. Koharu had thought of a good enough lie to feed her in case Sayumi was still up when Koharu finally came home. Satisfied with her back up plan, Koharu was finally able to fully focus was on her nightly  routine, but first she needed some new tools to start.

She already had her new car. The old man didn't lie. He got it right on time and it was exactly how her original car was, a precise replica. She was surprised. Her routine was smoothly into action. She rounded and stationed herself to the side once she was to her destination.

Exiting her new automobile, Koharu made her way swiftly into a very familiar shop. It was a little far from home and from work, but the drive was worth it. These weapons here are without a doubt top notch equipment and worked just how Koharu liked them. Quick, simple, and clean. That made the killings much easier on her end.

Walking through row after row of various guns, knives, swords, and daggers, Koharu finally made it to the cash register and spotted a young teenage girl with dark brown mid-length hair. She was working hard on a double barrel shotgun in front of her.  Koharu waited to see if the worker would notice her, but she was so perplexed on her work she didn't know she had another presence with her watching. Koharu gently cleaned her throat. It was just enough however to startle the teenager and she picked up her head screaming followed by the discharge of her shotgun straight into the roof.

“Ah!” The work squealed. “You scared me!” Calming her racing heart, she inspected the damage to the ceiling and groaned. “Nakazawa-san is going to kill me!”

“You should have taken the bullets out before trying to fix that gun you know.” Koharu explained.

“That's what I was doing, unloading the gun. The safety on guns never fully work you know.” The startled girl replied.

“Aren't you a little too young to be working with guns?” Koharu questioned.

“I'm nineteen. I'm not that young.” The girl pouted.

“Eri, why do I smell gunpowder?!” A loud voice boomed from the back room. “You didn't accidentally shoot a gun did you?!”

Eri stood up straight and looked around in fear as if trying to find a good enough place to hide, but knew it was pointless.

“Uh...n-no Nakazawa-san!” Eri stumbled.
The back door opened and Eri trembled with terror as she heard her boss's footsteps come closer to the counter. The owner of this shop didn't get further than a step out of the door and got her questioned answered when a large piece of plaster fell from the ceiling. It was just an inch from her leather black heels. Black enraged eyes met with fearful quivering ones and Eri ran out from behind the counter for protection. She nearly tripped on her way out and bumped straight into Koharu who was quietly watching the scene before her.

“I-I didn't mean it Nakazawa-san, honest! It was her fault!” Eri wailed, pointing toward Koharu, blowing her cover.

Yuko eyed their customer, forgetting for a moment about the large bullet hole in her ceiling. Koharu stared back into Yuko's seething glare with not a single trace of fear or weakness. Yuko's mouth turned into a thin line as she studied Koharu, trying to put together why she would be here at this hour of the night. It wasn't her usual time, but she gave up wondering, seeing that it wasn't her business and it only meant more money for her business so she wouldn't refuse her late night customer.

“Weapons?” Yuko asked.

Koharu nodded. Yuko motioned for her to come closer.

“I have a new shipment of swords today. They're a little pricy, but I'm sure we can work something out and they're sure to last long.” Yuko informed.

“I'll only need a gun and dagger today nothing else.” Koharu responded.

Yuko nodded, walking away from the counter and began to search through her rows of weapon selections.

“I really shouldn't be selling weapons to you, but seeing as you're one of my best customers I guess I can break the rules just a little. You can say I have a liking towards you.” Yuko rambled, her eyes scanning each weapon that came into her view. “You go hunting a lot?”

Koharu fought to control her smirk as she knew Eri was close behind her watching her closely in curiosity as she walked behind Yuko.

“You can say that.” Koharu mumbled.

Yuko took a gun from the second row of the shelf.  She found a dagger from the top shelf and presented the requested items for Koharu to look over.

“This will work well. They're both light and the dagger is a good enough size to fit into a coat pocket comfortably.” Yuko explained. “It isn't cheap.”

“I can pay for it.” Koharu stated.

Pulling out whatever was within her pockets, Yuko was shown a large wad of cash crumbled into the middle of the young girl's palms. The money was another thing Yuko never questioned. She knew better than to stick her nose in other people's business. The only thing that mattered was that she got what was needed to pay for the weapons she was offering.
“Eri round up the price and put it in a bag.” Yuko ordered.

“That won't be needed. I'll just take these to go.” Koharu interrupted, snatching the weapons from Yuko's hands.

She stuffed both weapons into her pockets and gave Yuko the amount of cash needed. She wouldn't have to worry about bullets. She had plenty of those in her car. Koharu rushed toward the front door without a glance or a goodbye to the two workers who were watching her curiously about her hasty exit. When Koharu was out from hearing distance, Eri looked back to her boss with quivering legs.

“Nakazawa-san, she's scary.” Eri whispered.

“Get back to work!” Yuko snapped.

Eri jumped and ran toward the cash register as told. At least it was better than being yelled at for the gaping hole in the ceiling. That would probably come later though. For now, Eri was just glad to be of the clearing from Yuko's wrath.

 ***

“Will you idiots hurry up! I have to get the trucks loaded and the goods shipped by midnight! If you don't move any faster I'll put a bullet through your heads!” A scrawny slicked haired man screamed.

His works turned away from him, shivering in fear and worked harder, lifting crate after crate quickly yet neatly into the back of four van trunks. The leader glared to his workers before walking back inside to the warehouse and sighed.

“I'm going out for a smoke.” He told his assistant.

He walked passed his men and dozens of crates that still needed to be loaded then out the front door. The slide door to the entrance closed and he leaned back into a wall before pulling out a carton of cigarettes from his back pocket. He felt his anger lift away the second he took a puff from the lit cigarette and breathe out a cloud of smoke slowly through his mouth. He sighed and let his shoulders drop, feeling much more at ease.

“Shin?” A calm voice called.

“What?!” He screamed, rudely confirming his name.

A fist collided with his jaw before he could get a clear visual of his uninvited visitor. He fell down with his head smacking the concrete. The fall wasn't hard enough to make him unconscious just stunned. He blinked several times to clear his blurry vision and notice that his large oval shaped sunglasses were off his face, broken beside him. Becoming more aware of his surroundings and his position, Shin slowly began to move, ignoring the sharp pain that ripped through his back and to his head.

He tried to see who his attacker was, but all he could see was a fuzzy shape and black hair with pale skin, but never a proper face. His head went back down, too weak to keep it up or focus. He heard the footsteps to his attacker draw near and panic filled through his body. He tried to move again at a faster pace, but the pain was too much and made it harder to move. His sight was still blurry and he couldn't tell in which direction his attacker was going to strike again.

He began to breathe heavily out of fear and rolled to his side then curl into a defensive pose. He felt a hand grab his arm and yank him up to his two feet with ease. He whimpered as his assailant's strength. He felt something cold and sharp press against the base of his neck and he shivered.

“If you scream I'll slit your throat.” The person growled.

It took Shin a second to realize the person threatening him was a girl a very young one at that. The accused criminal blinked and squinted his eyes to the person about ready to end his life.

“W-who are you?” He rasped.

“That isn't your concern.” Koharu growled.

The thin violent man gulped. “What are you going to do with me?” He trembled.

Daintily, a tiny smile stretched across Koharu's stone cold face. “Make you repent for your sins.” She grinned.

The older man watched a twinkle flicker into black cold eyes and his eyes opened wide with terror. He put together the pieces to her meaning and he didn't like it. He opened his mouth to scream, but before a single sound could come out he felt a fist punch straight into his gut cutting him off. He bend over to catch his breath. Koharu pulled him quickly away from the warehouse, ignoring his poor attempts to break free from her grip.

Luckily, Koharu's car wasn't parked far and reached it in no time to remain undetected. She then threw Shin into her trunk that was already open, waiting for his arrival. The man glared up at her with teary eyes, but she showed back no emotions for his distress. She was just doing her job. She put a finger to her lips, signaling to Shin to remain silent then slammed the trunk closed. Now with her choice of criminal in her hands, Koharu had one more part to do. Part two was now in commence.

Koharu is so f-ed up. :shocked And Sayu is so needy...

Ah, Eri is introduced. I forgot about her :sweatdrop: but what an intro! Blowing a hole in the ceiling.

At the same time, I find this Koharu strangely likeable... Maybe because she's not so stereotypically hyper and annoying.
