Congratulations to Mao Inoue, who was awared the Best Actress award for her role in 八日目の蝉 Youkame no Semi (English Name: Rebirth) at the 35th Japan Academy Prize Awards on Friday, March 2!!!

The film won awards in 10 categories, including Best Film, and Best Director for Izumi Narushima. Hiromi Nagasaku was named best supporting actress.Here is a clip of the film:

Youkame no Semi does seem to be a good movie. I already have the raw but without English subtitles, I'm afraid I won't watch it until one comes out.

Yeah, for sure, dialogue will be key to understand the film, I will need subs as well.
