On another note, Flavor Of Life is growing on me... I didn't like it at first. But I still don't like Hikki's very deep voice on some parts.

On first listen...as much as I absolutly adore Hikki, I'm not crazy about Flavor of Life. It's beautiful of course, but it sounds too much like a Dareka/Be my Last Hybrid.

And Ultra Blue is far more than promising

I've had COLORS since buying Deep River over three years ago or so, there's many more masterpieces on that album

Hikki sings gorgeous in both English and Japanese, but I have to say I prefer her Japanese version of that song, Passion

I'm partial to original versions though

i agree, english sound weird becuz of the japanese style music. what u guys think of Bokuwa Kuma? lol that is the weirdest song. then i found out its for children.

Hey. Just found this and I just wanted to say that Utada Hikaru was the one that got me into j-pop and such in the beginning. First, my friend introduced me to her with her song Sakura Drops and I loved it. Then when my cousins became addicted to Kingdom Hearts and I found the theme song and Hikari, I was hooked.

What freaked me out even MORE was when I watched MTV unplugged and she said she wrote that song for her... dad... talk about Edipus complex! (sp?).

Plus, I still think she doesnt love her husband. Exodus saids it all + the making video of Passions (I think).

My girlfriend and i constantly argue about Utada. I say shes hotter than most japanese women (plus shes from NY originally like me hehe, so i may be a bit partial) but she keeps bringing up the actress from babylon whos name i cant think of right now....im not gonna give up. Utada is so hot.
