I'm really digging the new Tokyo Jihen music. Shiina (although I still love her) should step back and let the rest of Jihen write more often! OSCA has a nice feel and I'm really looking forward to the next single. And my mouth is already drooling for that new album in fall...

Thanks aedon for posting the Musica scans. I was going to buy that magazine just for that article, but I was running out of money while in Tokyo. >_<

Lovin' the swing. It's nice and catchy. Uki's guitar work is just damn great. And horay for playing in the rain, dance break is awesome.

what kind of guitar is uki using this time? He always has the weirdest/coolest vintage guitars

Looks like a strat with a different bridge and pickguard. I think I've seen it before though.

I take back the nice and catchy, it's brilliant. Izawa is the man.

And speaking of Izawa, there's actually info on his other band. Here's their site, http://appa.web.infoseek.co.jp/. There's a song or two up for sample. Pretty cool jazz stuff.

I came across a magazine article with all their gear once. It had a number of Uki's guitars. Can't remember if the one he used in the PV was in it, but I'll look for it. Those pickups look weird.

I can't stop listening/watching. Killer Tune is probably one of my favorite singles this year. Though it's really only one of a few singles this year that actually really caught my ear.

Just watched the Killer Tune PV. It is very catchy! Plus I love the dancers who randomly appear at the end.

I'm gonna be so broke this fall. This song was good enough that it convinced me that I have to buy their album. But Angela Aki, Otsuka Ai and GO!GO! all have new albums coming out too. I'm gonna have to work extra hard to afford all this good music!
