^hmm... maybe...

well in any case, i actually was able to format it.... took a while though, since my computer slows down a lot and i have to be really patience.... but eventually i did it...
i just went to My Computer folder, right-click on the drive, and click on format.  but doing that, with all the slow down, takes about 30 min, and meanwhile if i do anything else on my computer, it'll interrupt the process....

 anyway, thanks.

btw, I'm still having problem with this:

My Windows Media Player (10 and 11) somehow won't read a file in my library and playlist that have a unique characters.  i.e. ℃, and also japanese characters.  i dunno how to explain this....
so if there's a unique character like ℃in the name of the music file (not the title, but the name)  It's okay if it's in the title or artist, it will play.  it will also play if i just open the file manually.

there's only a problem if I were to save it to a playlist, and it won't retrieve the info or the file. it seems to not recognize the files.

now this didn't happen to me before, it was find, but then I rebooted my computer and then this happen.  I guess there's a plug-in or a codec or something that I'll need to install, but i have no clue.
Hope anyone heres knows and could kindly inform me...
please and thank you.

and it seems to also include korean characters as well.... I dunno what's the problem, my windows xp had install the East Asian language thing, and it does display it, but the windows media player fail to play it...
oh yeah, i mentions something about an extension on the file...

so if someone knows what up, please help...

^ Might there be additional info with the file it can't read?
Maybe the full error message can give more insight (screen shot)

U know what? It only happens in m3u playlists, if i saved it as wpl in the library, i doesn't have that problem, only if i saved it in a .m3u playlist in the library, although that still doesn't solve the problem yet at least i know i should saved it in m3u playlist.

so thanks anyway...

to convert files I usually use xilisoft video converter because it's easy to use :p
PSP can only play MP4 file with a certain setting,   but usually I use PSP video manager since it can convert the file to the required format

What do you mean? o_O

Well if you burn that stuff and delete it off the harddrive after, you will have free space...

sure, but you have to delete the files yourself after.

Be sure to verify after burning, only then delete.

Indeed. Once you've burned your disc, make sure that you double-check the files on the disc to make sure that nothing got messed up when they got burned. Once you're satisfied that they're fine on the disc, only then should you delete them from your HDD.

The "click of death" usually means your drive is dead or dying. You might want to try a data recovery program, like R-Studio or something similar. I was able to recover nearly 90% of the files off a dying drive using it, but the scanning process can take the better part of a day depending on how big your drive is, and how damaged it is. And it may not work at all if your drive is too far gone.

google is your friend. ;)

It's not free so you'll have to either buy it or get a crack or torrent of it from any of your usual trackers.

I'm having a problem with my Sansa m250 2GB MP3 player.... supposedly it have a 1.8 GB of space on there.  But whenever i try to upload my music, i can only get about 800mb of songs on there.
I use WMP11 to Sync my songs on there, and when ever it gets to a certain memory capacity, it stops and said "do not fit on device"  but WMP11 shows it have 1 GB of space remaining. i would disconnect and then reconnect, it still say there's 1gb of space, i try to upload, but then it said "do not fit on device," meaning it's full.  but clearly it's not.
I need help on how to "unlock" the remaining 1GB so I can use it up to full capacity.
