I can't find a "download dir" folder after entering the "avg8" one. And I tried updating manually, but it still says the same thing...

I guess all these files are *.bin (don't delete them)
maybe the .ctf is a hidden file there :/
is your "show hidden files" folder option checked ?

I don't have avg so I can't help more sry =(

Yeah, it's only set on read-only, but hidden option is unchecked.

Ack! Now I'm worried. I'm paranoid when it comes to viruses and stuff and if AVG won't update...

The same files show up, nothing new...

Sigh. What anti-virus can you recommend that's as good or better?

^ Try a system restore to the point before this setup started

Alternatively, use regedit and delete the Borderlands entries. Probably a bit more involved though.

Strange, but maybe your install was from before that point?

Anyway, maybe on gamespot: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/borderlands/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-51966869&pid=942811

Seems more people have the uninstall problem.
The problem: I can't really read the message as the pic will not load for me.

Is there a dummy-proof method to downloading Hulu content?  All sorts of Flash trickery now implemented...

HELP! Have a Dell Precision Workstation 370,  orange light, excessive fan noise, p.s. not the power supply fan, but the other one powered by the motherboard, the case cooling fan.

Thats a normal size desktop, should be able to use a standard 8 or 12 cm fan you can get at any computer supply show.

The problem might be replacing it in the case, DELL uses its own 'easy to use' brackets.

^I think think that the fans really the problem now.  I had 2 computers of the same model.  I swapped the fan and it still did the same thing.  So I guess it's not the fan, but the motherboard, either that or some how the computer reads high temperature and kick the fan into overdrive...
