anyways, this problem, I expect, will eventually get fixed. the issue used to exist for sansa clip, but last friday a new firmware was released fixing those issues and I think raising the cap of pla playlists. we'll just have to be patient for fuze to get updated.

Just in case anyone needs any info... I download mediamonkey yesterday and turns out it was great to sync a playlist with 993 songs! i dunno if it'll go higher than that, but I'll soon try. Finding mediamonkey was a great discovery, not only does it sync and upload my playlist of 993 songs, but it didn't slow down compare to when I'm using my WMP10.

So I'm using my PS3 as a media player for the TV. Supposedly it can play divx encoded files and some xvid files. But for me it plays every Xvid file I threw at it (about 5 movies and a PV), but doesn't play any divx files I've tried to play (a whole lot of JAV and a movie). I searched around the internet and found no one with this problem, but many with the exact opposite of mine. But they were all like a year old, so maybe it's the latest firmware? Any other PS3 owners having this problem?

Also I have a file encoded in h.264 but with an .avi container, and the PS3 can't play it for some reason. Is there a way to change the container without transcoding the video? Same goes for .mkv's. I can't seem to do it with ffmpegX.

h.264/mpeg-4 needs to be the new standard already. >_>

I've tried it once and it worked perfectly.

As for the problem with your PS3, I'll check mine sometime soon, I don't use it much but I'll see what happens with new firmware.

First, uninstall Messenger 2009.

I'd been having some trouble w/ IE7 and so decided to give Mozilla Firefox a try (i'm using the latest one, version 3.0.5.
I like it so far, but I do have one problem with it, though not a big problem, it's annoying after a while. That is whenever ever I save a favorites/ or bookmarks, it won't overwrite like I wanted.
I usually visit sites that would update a lot, like threads on JPH!P forums, H!O forums and stuff. and when I want to stop at that page, I would save it to fav and IE7 would overwrite the previous file, which is a good thing. but Firefox doesn't and would make duplicate, over time there would be many duplicate favorites/bookmarks and I find annoying and have to delete manually.
What I want is to find a add-ons that will "overwrite" the bookmark. Does anyone knows of a good one? under the Firefox add-ons and extension site, there are like over 200+ add-ons, ext. of bookmarks so I don't know which is good or not... I hope someone could recommend me a good one.

I have another problem. . .
My laptop video card is dead. I have a Vaio VGN-FZ21M and people told me that it's almost impossible to change the card and that is better to buy a new computer.
What do you think ?

^ Labtop video 'cards' are normally soldered onto the motherboard, so yes its almost impossible to replace them.

You can try to have it repaired, but depending on the age, you might be better of with a new one.

Googled it and it is most likely not more than a year old. It's not under warranty anymore? Cause that should be covered. If not... then that sucks, but it might be more affordable to get it repaired than to buy a completely new one. But if you have the money...

I have a Sansa Fuze 8Gb.
I have a playlist problem. one playlist can only hold up to 998-1000 songs. How can I add more songs that playlist? I currently have 1239 songs in the mp3, but only 998-1000 songs show up on that particular playlist.
I been using MediaMonkey. I found playlist creator 3 but doesn't know how to use it.
any answers?

More of a question, but is it bad to leave my regulator on my computer on?

I plan to keep it on long-term because whenever I turn it off and turn it back on again, the net screws up and won't work for at least an hour again.

Isn't there a 'play all' without using a playlist? I normally use that on my Creative ZEN, as long as the tracks are sorted correctly (name/track) it should simply play everything in order.

Err, isn't that what you call the thing that powers on the computer? It's like the main box switch thing that turns on both my computer and the internet.

Umm I still don't know what you're talking about, but it sounds like a surge protector. Is it some little thing with several plug outlets?

Keeping that on will probably use a little electricity and that may be the reason you were told to turn it off, but since you probably use the computer/internet just about everyday, it's should be safe to keep it on.
