thanks for posting the episodes.  first, Kobayashi rocked and Minori looked so good doing what she does.  Ogura, a glutton but still a sexy figure.  I hope they don't target her as the next Sayama.

Do y'all have nicknames for some of the Muscats? This was something I thought up a while back, like, I don't call them by their names anymore. I'm pretty sure I might be the only one who does this but...I dunno  XD

Here are the nicknames I give some of the Muscats. You might know why if you've seen what I post on the good ol' Tumblr  8)
  • Aino Kishi: Miss Westbrook
  • Rina Rukawa: Nancy
  • Saemi Shinohara: Lightning Legs

Why do I call Rina Rukawa "Nancy"? The entire song "Ghetto Life" by Rick James reminds me of her. Well, at least the most recognizable part   :D
Why do I call Saemi Shinohara "Lightning Legs"? This photo should tell you enough.

So initial...what do you call Ogawa anyway?
I got a few suggestions   XD
  • BOOTY BUTT CHEEKS
  • MISS NEW BOOTY
  • TOO MUCH ASS IN THEM JEANS
  • DROP IT LOW
  • MILKSHAKE

Yup. Pick any booty song and you have yourself a legit nickname  8)

And I think I dig lightning legs Saemi Shinohara so much now that she's my new favorite Muscat. At this point, much, much more than Rina.
She's cute man. Do I need to explain myself any more?

Attack Zone, isn't that a JAV studio?
Saemi doesn't look like the type that would go into AV but I was surprised at who was/still is AV in Ebisu Muscats (only because I never followed their career before Ebisu) examples:

Kaho Kasumi, didn't know anything about her.
Rukawa Rina, I always suspected she was a cute gravure-idol  (yeah, only in my world)
Kizaki Jessica, really, AV?  she's so nice looking, not some AV idol.
Sakuragi Rin, AV?  one of the cutest smiles in Ebisu.
Minori, didn't know her but suspected AV.  hardcore (personality) at it's finest.
Sayama, I smelt AV when I saw her.
Kishi, I didn't know she was AV.  I mean, she's so cute and thin but yeah, AV.

Yuma I knew about her popularity on fan-blogs, Akiho I've read of her popularity after Maid-Droid.
Ogawa I've seen, Sola I knew about, Yuria, I'll admit, big time fan.
Rio, I read on fan-blogs, and Shou, I've checked out (big fan of her sister Horiguchi, nawce)

So, I'm not the best at judging by appearances (is that good or bad?)

Saemi?  I hope she continues to be the cute gravure-dunce.
"beauty-free, duty-free?"  classic dialogue exchange

the thought of her 'graduating' to AV gets me riled up.  It's like losing a friend (who you thought you knew) to a room full of half-naked dudes with blurred faces preparing themselves to skewer my favorite Ebisu, hell no!  Aki, Ogawa, Yuria, Sho, they've done it before I saw them in Ebisu but Saemi, Ogura, even Oshikawa, look but don't touch.  Touch but don't taste.  taste, don't swallow. (where am I going with this...?)

I don't wanna consider myself a hardcore-fan or even a Stan...I mean, I know they'll do what they think is best for money and furthering their popularity in entertainment but grind another way, not the AV-grind (get it?)

dang, this has to be the longest comment I've typed...but it's something that I have to type...
oh, and check out the pic of Saemi on the youtube box.  wow, thighs!

I see why l4Verra 'graduated' to her.

Yup  8)

Everything's pretty on-point. The whole AV thing kinda bothered me but the thing is, I could never do anything about it. I can't just go up to Rina Rukawa and ask her to stop her AV career, simply because she's one of the more recognizable faces in AV at this point. I may go as far to say that she could replace Akiho Yoshizawa in terms of popularity, which may or may not be a good thing. Hell if we were dating, it would never work. There's something intimidating about dating an AV idol, unless you already have a lot of money (ex. if Aino and Russell Westbrook were dating, it's alright because Russ recently got paid $80 million to play basketball for five years, so I'm guessing Aino will be alright financially, whether or not she continues AV). Would I date Rina? Of course, if she wasn't an AV idol.

I can already tell what kind of person Rina Rukawa is at this point. Since she is getting there in terms of popularity, if she were to ever begin an intimate relationship with a man, it would knock her popularity down a bit. Hundreds of her AV fans would have that thought in the back of their head that she's taken, so I'm guessing they wouldn't enjoy doing this that much:  :fap  I think she enjoys the life of luxury. She even said she wanted this life in an interview on Love Colle magazine.

I can already tell what kind of person Saemi Shinohara is. A girl who's pretty insecure about the decisions she's making, and is trying to do something substantial in her life (I've read her Twitter posts, I know what I'm talking about). She already has second thoughts about being a gravure idol/Ebisu Muscat, even after just two years of being in the business. Even when she gets positive motivation and support from fellow muscats, such as Rina Rukawa, Sora Aoi and Nanako Kodama, it doesn't look like that's enough. She already has thoughts of studying abroad and getting married. In my opinion I think she will get married, definitely not at 19 years old, but she'll find a man who will sweep her off her feet. Simply put, Saemi has to do something to make her happy. If it's not gravure or the Ebisu Muscats, I'm pretty sure she has options. I just care if she's happy. I already know Rina is content with how her life is going right now, so why not Saemi?

Wow...I wrote long ass paragraphs about two Ebisu Muscats  :P

The AV thing is present and unavoidable. I don't remember if it's true or not but it's said that one of the reasons Ebisu Muscats even exists in the first place was to boost DVD sales of AV/gravure models. The JAV industry is losing out to online piracy big time so this is one way of keeping that fan support and a new way of bringing in new ones. It's effective though, in fact I believe there are more female fans following the girls than ever before and making the effort to go to concerts and even AV fan events too. Course it is still predominately male, but still encouraging nonetheless.

I've never really been bothered by it to be honest. I knew all of the girls from their AV work before Muscats came about. To me, there are a few, well more than a few, in there (Rio, Yuma, Acky, Sola, Jessica, Minori, Asami etc) who I can honestly say are absolutely stunning looking girls, some of the best looking I've ever seen and I wonder how they even got into porn when they are just so beautiful. Some of it was down to a lack of choice or failures (Yuma admits that she was in AV because she failed to make it as a film actress) or some do it because that's their decision on what to do. AV isn't as big a deal in Japan apparently. Certainly seems that way if they can make an idol group out of it. I dunno, I guess if they're happy enough to do it, then it doesn't really bother me to think about what they do on camera. Hell I get off on it. But do I feel some deep seeded jealousy and hatred at the male actors? Not really. I certainly can do, especially if their fans get roped in or someone gets to *ahem* 'do' one or more of the girls at once. But I guess I just resigned myself to the fact that the possibility of anything happening between me and the girls is just so far out there that there's no point getting worked up about it. For one there's the literal distance between us, secondly the language barrier and lastly, even if the last two weren't issues, those girls are so far above and beyond my league that I would stand no chance of seducing them that it's not even funny.

Really, my best hope of seeing these girls in the literal flesh is if one of the production studios decides to fly one of them over to N.Ireland and asks me to come on and be the male 'talent'. Someday! Someday it'll come true! XD

The claim that the Muscats exist in order to up sales in AV/gravure DVDs makes so much sense...but I still don't want to believe it.

To be honest, if all of the Muscats come together as a group, i don't see them as just a bunch of AV/gravure idols put together. I see them as the J-Pop group they are, and disregard all the hate they may receive being known as the "AV Group". If I'm referring to the women one by one, I see them as either an AV idol or a gravure idol. But if you put all of them together, they are the Ebisu Muscats. And that should be the way it is.

Do I get bothered if a male actor has intercourse with one of the 16 AV idols on the Muscats right now? I never did, honestly. Unless it was Rina Rukawa. All of my friends and family knew how much I liked this girl, and when i told them the story about that lucky ass fanboy who had sexual intercourse with her, I literally lost my mind.

I always imagined myself in some sort of relationship with Rina Rukawa, and have been for almost a year now. But ever since then, I just decided that this wasn't worth the trouble. I don't want to see myself in a panicked state of mind anymore just because I like an AV idol a little too much. I think if I were ever to meet Rina at this point, I would just be happy/content that she'd meet me or something. That's it. No more reactions that mirror me to a "crazed 13-year old fan girl", because if I meet her, say, three or four months ago, that would be my immediate reaction

If I met Saemi Shinohara, well I wouldn't react like a 13-year old but I'd be pretty stoked though  8)

And Tuffty if you had to pick one of the 'Cats to fly to North Ireland to visit you, who would it be and why?

I'll like to know Tuffty's answer but adding my two cents, my preferred Muscat to visit Milwaukee, WI will have to be Ogura Haruka.  :welcome
If it's not the hot, humid summers, then it's the sub-zero winters.  all great weather to cuddle in.
