Here's an interesting question: if you saw the other Muscats (ex. Sho, Aino, Mui, Uruha, Rio) at like, a swap-meet style shopping area, what do you think they may sell?
Maybe Ogura will be selling food
I believe she has a lot of knowledge about any types of food :D

There's talk that Airi Kijima will be entering the AV industry.
On generasia.com, it's said 'Kijima Airi (AV)' already. If I remember correctly, the last time I visited generasia it's still (G) there, but well..

And if that's a mannequin, the maker is a talented one, even the face looks very similar

to go to AV?
not sure what to think   :?
My opinion doesn't matter, it's her life, her body, but maybe I (or we) would like to see the Ebisu Girls reach some mainstream success away from their AV connections.  I like Shou's decision to reach mainstream success with both AV and non-AV activities.
so Brooklyn to AV?
I'm a bit curious to see to what distance she will go in her films, Yuria-level or Acky-level?

Here's the thing though...as we all know, when you are around some of the best AV idols the game has to offer (Acky, Rio, Yuma, Westbrook, Yuria, Rina, etc.), perhaps the influence is driven from there. I don't know what Yui was up to before she joined the AV industry, because as you all know she was not an AV idol before; it just kinda happened. For Brooklyn's sake, well, it is her decision so I can't really judge her. I was worried about some of the other girls post-Muscats, such as Yuri Oshikawa, Rika Kawamura, Ena Kawamura and especially Saemi Shinohara. The other girls have something to hold back on, such as AV (Rio, Westbrook, Jessica, Kaho, etc.), another J-Pop group (Mui, Rion), or a movie career that is not in any way AV related (Shou, Sola). Maybe this was a choice that Brooklyn made simply because the Muscats aren't making music anymore, or maybe not. I think I remember that Aino Kishi had decided the same thing, when she was mentally tough enough to be in the AV industry. She had to fight her father just to be happy. And now she's up there with Acky and Rio, well at least in my opinion. Perhaps this move will up Brooklyn's popularity. I mean, through observation, the difference between the amount of Twitter followers for the AV Muscats versus the difference between the amount of Twitter followers for the gravure Muscats is pretty darn significant...

Personally I'll look forward to how well she can pull this off. AV isn't exactly for everyone...just ask Uruha Mizuki if you can find her :smhid

Speaking of Brooklyn, as in Brooklyn Nets, the finals are under way and the teams for these two lovely Muscats are all that is left standing:

Team Yuma (San Antonio) vs. Team Rio (Miami).
No I don't have a favorite for this one :P

Familiar?
(I don't know what manga it is)
Nah I dunno where this is from...it's interesting that there's a Muscats manga hiding somewhere :shocked
But speaking of manga and anime, I asked Mui the other day if she likes Madoka Magica.

nope.

I was so sure Airi Nagasaku and the Indiana Pacers were gonna pull the upset against Rio and the Heat
Now I'm sure Yuma and the Spurs will return to Champ status and grab the Ring.
Team Yuma for the win

Speaking of Yuma, she announced the reason for her illness recently. A benign tumour found on her ovaries. She's apparently receiving chemotherapy treatment and she's ok. Don't expect to see her around much or works from her other career anytime soon, but her health is obviously most important. Here's wishing her all the best <3

More Brooklyn stuff...
For those of you who know about Airi Kijima's gravure career, it's worth noting that her videos are really, really risque. It's practically AV without the intercourse. Which brings me to my next point, and this is one I've been wanting to do for a while.
If we were to rank the Muscats based on how risque their careers have taken them, from really high (full on nude lezzing) to moderate (intercourse, or the equivalent) to really low (simple poses in swimwear). Obviously the AV idols will be higher on this list than the gravure girls.

This list was incredibly difficult to make correctly...and all of it is based on observation through photos, videos, and similar media 8)

Very High
-Yuria Satomi
-Sho Nishino
-Asami Ogawa

High
-Akiho Yoshizawa
-Sola Aoi
-Hana Haruna
-Ai Sayama
-Aino Kishi
-Rio
-Kaho Kasumi
-Jessica Kizaki
-Yuma Asami
-Minori Hatsune
-Rin Sakuragi

Moderate
-Anna Anjo
-Airi Kijima
-Rina Rukawa
-Yui
-Manami Yamaguchi
-Ayako Yamanaka
-Haruka Ogura
-Rika Kawamura
-Nanako Kodama

Low
-Airi Nagasaku
-Aika Ando
-Yuika Oshikawa
-Ena Kawamura
-Mui Kuriyama

Very Low
-Rion Sakamoto
-Saemi Shinohara

makes sense right?  XD

Some more news on Yuma and finding it all a bit hard to take right now.

The tumour they had found wasn't benign, it was active and it was ovarian borderline cancer (ovarian borderline malignant tumor), which apparently lies right in between benign tumor and cancer. She had surgery in Feburary where, sadly, all of her uterus was removed. She's undergoing chemotherapy at the min and I imagine a lot of checkups. There is a possiblity of a relapse at some point in the future. Worse yet, the surgery means that Yuma cannot have any children and the mortality rate for ovarian cancer is....not good.

So, it goes without saying that Yuma's AV career is also over as a result. Which is fine, I keep saying it I know, but her health takes absolutely no.1 priority here. And if there is a plus side, it is that it was caught early and she is on the road to recovery, which I'm sure family, friends and even fans will be right behind her. It's so unfair, I hate to think of sweet, bubbly Yuma suffering. So young too, only 26. She's one of the best Muscats and in her other career, also a legend in the industry. Please get fully better soon

Taken from Tokyo Reporter:

Quote
TOKYO (TR) – Popular adult video starlet Yuma Asami announced via Twitter on Thursday that she had a medical procedure earlier this year to treat cancer, reports the Sankei Shimbun (June 7).
The 26-year-old Asami (@asami_yuma on Twitter) said in a tweet that she had surgery to remove a tumor discovered in one of her ovaries and that she was currently undergoing medical treatment.

The Sankei cites a person familiar with the matter who says that Asami began suffering from stomach problems in January. A subsequent MRI exam revealed that she had ovarian cancer. On February 27, doctors removed her uterus and ovaries.

The native of Gunma Prefecture was a member of Ebisu Muscats, a pop group of gravure and AV idols which ceased activities following a farewell tour in April. On April 7, the actress participated in “graduation” ceremonies for the group. She announced on Twitter the following day that a second stage in her life was beginning.

In 2005, Asami made her debut for label Alice Japan with “Innocent Hard-Core” and “New Face Risky Mosaic” for S1. Three years later, she captured the Most Appearances title at the Sky PerfecTV! AV awards.

In a subsequent tweet on Thursday, Asami indicated that she was very pleased to receive words of encouragement from her fans. “I’m working hard to move forward, and am looking forward to hearing from you,” she said.

If it wasn't for Yuma Asami i would have never found out about the Muscats.
Let's give Yuma Asami as much support as we can!
It hurts to see someone so bubbly and so compassionate to suffer like this...

Go Yuma Go! We support you!!! :)

The great birthday photobomb by Yuma

Yuma always makes any moments filled with fun and happiness. :D
Well, not much that I, personally, can do except send my prayer for the best of her health and completely recovered.  :thumbsup
I wonder if this is caused by her AV activities, or has nothing to do at all with it?

Hatsune and ....?
Still haven't figured that out.
Aino maybe? Since she's the main role of her TV show :D

WHAT??

A girl using an urinal?? No idea who she is. And I don't expect Mui will do something crazy like that.
I think only Kasumi Kaho or Aino are crazy enough to do it.
