Okay so...
I just came up with an idea.
Remember when I gave every Muscat an NBA team? I plan on doing the same with...well, the NFL.
Now I dunno if y'all follow the NFL but, well, this is the only thing holding me until basketball starts again.
Since there are 32 teams I left out 2 for quite a few "waifu" based reasons.

So....this is a game where a girl, who is blindfolded, has to guess who the other girl is by feeling them up. Quite literally. It's just that, the one getting felt up is Rika Kawamura. The one doing the feeling is Airi Nagasaku. Enjoy.

okay, so I'm going through some AV-sites, checking out the updates and run into a picture.  I actually felt my heart skip a beat when I saw the face and familiar smile.  I click on the pic to get a zoomed image and thankfully it wasn't my Glutton Queen.

Saw this in Rio's blog, a potential solo singing career in the works? She does have a great voice. The song's called 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?' Yes Rio. Yes I absolutely do.

And a new video from Yuma! Don't know what she's saying, but she seems in good spirits

I saw that news on Rio recently. Her lead single is apparently a cover of the 70s Rod Stewart disco song 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy'  Okay .... I dunno, I think her voice is better suited to slower music, but we'll see how it turns out.

Speaking of singing Muscats, she doesn't seem to be many people's favorite, but Nagasaku Airi was known as the Song and Dance Leader of the group. Here she is almost out-singing Misono during a karaoke battle on the show 'Onegai Ranking' from a couple months ago. They've got her singing in a bikini for some reason (use the 'Unblock Youku' extension in Chrome to watch it)

do you see a resemblance or is it me?

Maybe a little bit when you look at her head on, but it's gone when she turns her head a little. To me, Ogura actually seems like one of the least likely to go AV. She seems to be in a situation where she isn't hurting for money - she says she's basically a shut-in, she's thrifty, lives with her family, and she's been doing the gravure thing for a long time, so she seems to know how to make it work for her. Personality-wise, she seems pretty low-key, maybe even a little sarcastic/cynical if you read her blog. I could be reading her totally wrong, but that's just the feeling I get.

She made a guest appearance on the web show (?) Koriki no Kobeya hosted by wrestler/comedian Choshuu Koriki. Nagasaku Airi co-hosts/assists on the show whenever a former Muscats member is guesting.  They spend most of this interview talking about food, then the last 5-10 minutes on Mahjong. Some highlights from the interview:

•Both Haruka and Airi are kind of slobs. The uncleanliness of Airi's apartment is a running joke on the show and Haruka is the type of person who won't wash her makeup off for several days.
•She likes to pack light when traveling on gravure assignments so she'll only bring the underwear that she's wearing on the trip, which she washes while she's showering/bathing.
•She's known to sleep in until 7PM.
•Nights of drunken karaoke can lead to things like Airi flashing her boobs (according to one of the 'press conference' episodes of Onemasu) or Haruka trying to break chopsticks with her butt.

This first half is usually a manzai contest featuring up-and-coming comedians - skip ahead to about the 20-25 min. mark of each show if this doesn't interest you.

Also, in the 9/27 episode, Yui announced that she's retiring from showbiz … maybe. She'll at least be taking some time off. She seems like a really sweet, soft-spoken person (Nagasaku ranks her as the 2nd nicest among the Muscats), and maybe porn wasn't in her plans when she first decided to enter show business.

Airi flashing her boobs huh? That's new...I mean I haven't seen much of her gravure stuff to draw out an opinion but I'm assuming it must be pretty good? I dunno. All I know is that yeah Airi isn't really anyone's favorite around here. I wonder why? She seems to just kinda, blend in.
Maybe it's my inner, "Mui is my favorite Muscat probably ever" syndrome but ah well

Specifically speaking Uruha...nothing about her in more than a year...
Maybe she did the same thing Yui did? I mean, since Yui is retiring/taking some time off, or just falling off the face of show-business like Uruha, well...whatever's best for her is what's best for her I must say.
I wish her the best in the future.
And ironically I liked her more than Airi.
Something about her was just so sweet. It's like you wanted her to visit your parents or something I dunno

Her newest DVD is called 'Fuusen' (Balloons) and her previous one was called 'Deka Melon' (Huge Melons), so yeah .... you stay classy, DVD production company  I think she's got a great body, but I can see how people might find her a little plain-looking compared to other members. I think I appreciate her more now that OneMasu is over - she seems to be one of the hardest working since disbandment and she's probably the Muscats' best singer and dancer, despite never really being given the spotlight due to the group's higher-profile members. I hope she does get the chance to showcase her talent on a bigger stage.

Of the ones you named, I think Mui's the only one who's been on. So far, I've seen the episodes with Yui, Ogura, Kodama, Aoi, Kawamura Rika, Nishino, and Kasumi Kaho. Mui and Ando have also been guests, but I can't find those episodes anywhere. Kinda weird that Saemi and Ayako haven't appeared yet, since they belong to the same talent agency as Airi. As for Mizuki, at this point it's probably safe to say that she's now living life as a private citizen. To me, she was just one of the many girls who appeared for an episode or two without doing much before promptly disappearing. I got the feeling that those girls' respective agencies/production companies were simply showcasing them to promote their upcoming AV debuts and never planned for them to be permanent members of the group, so I tended not to pay much attention to them.

Anyway, speaking of Mui, her radio show was just renewed  : The most recent episode was like 2 1/2 hours long, featuring a recorded interview with Aoi and Rika, a live segment with Yui and Samii, and a recorded musical segment with Shimokita Crusher (Mui's friend group with Ando and Yamaguchi, kind of like DARA). The moments that stood out to me were when Aoi and Rika were talking about the first days of Onegai Muscat when there was a clear separation between the AV and the gravure groups. They say that they're the ones who broke down the walls between the two groups, with Aoi looking to break the ice with whoever seemed to be the gravure group's leader, which happened to be Rika.  Aoi mentioned feeling intimidated by the gravure group at first because nobody on the AV side had any TV experience, so she thought that meant that the six or so gravure girls must be really talented/experienced because there were so few of them ... only to find out that nobody on the gravure side was popular in any way and were probably even less experienced. The two became close when the Muscats would meet for dinner, with Rika endearing herself to Sora by being the only one in the room doing all the dirty talk, despite belonging to the gravure group.

They also talked about how they absolutely resented/hated the 2nd-gen members at first because they felt that their own efforts to build the show in its first year were being overlooked. The episode of Onedari Muscat where the 1st-gen members were pranked into thinking they were being booted off the show in favor of the 2nd-gen had them so frustrated that they felt like throwing up during the taping. Of course, they eventually got over it

What? Chopsticks breaker.. 

I think if Onemasu comes out with English subtitles, it'd be a lot better because we can understand the jokes..
