About Muscats on the informal-relax mode, here you have:

A recopilation of Muscats backstage-free time moments (on twitter / instagram) :)

And a live stream made it by Iori (with Riku), drinking and talking about the show, stuff and funny moments with the other girls. In the 1st part, they bring things related to the Baka No.1 Test (especially the infamous Napoleon draws)

Wow! One of the Muscats must know about  "Tetsujin 28-go" (Steel-man number 28). :twothumbs

"quite disappointing that they are now fewer and fewer", kei_sensei

I've done a little bit of research about just how many OG Muscats there were at any one time.

There seem to have been around 28-30 Muscats, on the program, at any one time.

So, for example, episode 46 of “Onedari DX!” (Aug. 2011)

The following Muscats appeared in that episode:
1. Yuma
2. Rio
3. KONAN
4. Kishi Aino
5. Rukawa Rina
6. Nishino
7. Hatsune Minori
8. Kasumi Risa
9. Kasumi Kaho
10. Satomi Yuria
11. Ogawa Asami
12. Aoi Sora
13. Ando Aika
14. Oka Eri
15. Nagase Yumi
16. Ogawa Nozomi
17. Fujisaki Akane
18. Kizaki Jessica
19. Orii Haruna
20. Yamanaka
21. Kodama
22. Ichijo Mao
23. Sakuragi Rin
24. Kuriyama Mui
25. Shibata Shoko
26. Yokoyama Miyuki
27. Sonoda Maki
28. Ririka

Traditionally, in Japan, April is the start of a new business year.

It is the month when company recruits start their new jobs.

So perhaps, next month, we'll get some new Muscats.   :thumbsup

In the latest Muscat Night BS, time to "Kick Off" as Yama-neesan, along with the girls, play indoor soccer...with panties.

I know I might be in the minority here, but I actually don't mind them cutting down the number of members (Amatsuka Moe was an exception though, I wanted her to stay). The show has trouble finding time for all the members and over half of them aren't doing anything at any given moment anyways. I wouldn't mind them reducing the size down to about 20 and give each girl more time to show themselves.

I think the bigger problem with the show is the unnecessary push given to the Asagaya shimai. The last time I checked, the show is called Muscat Night, not Asagaya night and the group is Ebisu Muscats, not Asagaya shimai. I don't get why the staff give them so much time on the show and they aren't even all that funny. The latest episode was a great example, why spend half of the show on Asagaya shimai? The MV was such a waste of money and resource, instead of spending money on making a MV that no one really wants to see, why not spend it on improving the quality of other MV or use it on a field trip or something. Maybe if the show actually spend more time on the girls, not so many of them would want to leave. They must also consider the audience, I doubt anyone really stay up late at night to watch Miho kiss like a hundred times on screen, I know I definitely didn't sign up for it. I see a lot of complains from Japanese fans about the MV and the amount of time Asagaya shimai gets, maybe it is time the staff actually listen to the fans for once.

Personally, I like the sisters most of time but yes, I agree with your point, the show is about the Muscats, not them. And yeah, that PV was completely unnecessary. Kinda reminded me about some episodes of Onedari when they gave a lot of screentime to that Kobayashi guy while some of the girls had to sit in the background. Still, there are some girls that I'd love to see them joining the group someday: Yui Hatano, Julia, Asuka Kishi...
Happy Birthday to Yuma Asami!

Happy Birthday Yuma! :twothumbs This is a lttle tribute to her: these scans are taken from her Scarlight DVD book. Bought it at one of her Live Events. I think she looks a bit too serious on most of the photos. I'd prefer to see her smiling more but well, she looks fantastic. The songs are very good too :)

And the bonus pic! And she's smiling here :D

I totally agree about the screen time they spend on Asagaya... :smhid

Men, even with 30 members in the group the staff can give enough spotlight to everyone of them. Seriously, they can do "challenges" or teams activities outside (as Kirara & Yua did), more games, give one specifically segment to one or two girls (comedian, MC...). I don't know, there a plenty of things the girls can do to show more of herself (and clearly have more fun that just stay on there sit).

They are not showing Usa Miharu, Rui Hasegawa & Mirei Kurosawa at all (even that they are new in the group). How is supposed the fans can get behind enough to 3rd Gen if they spend more of the time at back row (like other girls)? The bigger screen time they get was in the Baka Contest, few seconds...

The MV was  , staff team can produced a better thing as an oportunity-promotion for the new song (something like they did with "Okasan" or better)

Ebisu Muscat is going to undergo some changes.
New costumes. No longer diveded by color.
The show will undergo a name change too.
Plus everything will be much sexier.

Wowza! Cannot wait for this one.... From the old school setting to a disco-like setting...looks like this is the biggest push thus far for this gen.

That's great those old costumes looked terrible and bland.
