ROCH 06 is pretty good, nice visuals although the story was cut down in places.  Not sure if I like the CG condor, the man in the suit was always good for a few laughs.

Has anyone seen the movie with Sammo Hung and Donnie Yen called, "Kill Zone"?

Also, I'm looking for a movie with Sammo Hung in it. I saw a scene from it in the documentary "The Deadliest Art." In the scene, Sammo is wearing a blue robe and has a ponytail. He fights against a few guys, 3 I think, in a restaurant and they have swords. He's jumping and tumbling over and under all the tables and then picks up a bench and starts fighting with it. There's also a guy on the side watching who has long hair, big eyebrows, and a beard('caase there aren't very many of those in Kung Fu movies). I would've posted a youtube link to help, but I couldn't find it there. Anyone know what movie I'm talking about?

:bow: :bow: Jackie + Sammo + Yuen Biao!! Hellz yeah to their 80s cheap comedies too. haha

New details on Jackie + Jet's collabo (source: http://www.monkeypeaches.com)

 A Variety article just revealed a few new details on the untitled Jackie Chan / Jet Li project:

  • The budget is about US$70 million - pretty high for a "family pic";
  • Master Yuen Wo-Ping has been asked to handle the action - good looking fight sequences guaranteed;
  • -    Shooting is set for April - in Shanghai?
  • -    Jet Li will play two roles, the Monkey King and the Silent Monk - The Monkey King is the center character of classic Chinese fantasy novel "Journey to the West". He is the first disciple of the Tang Monk (Tripitaka), who is on his way to seek for Buddhist texts. Not sure about who is Silent Monk. - Alright, the Silent Monk might be the Tang Monk.
  • -    Jackie Chan will play the monk Tsa-Ho - aka. Sha Monk / Sandy, the Tang Monk's third disciple. The article does not mention the characters of Tang Monk and Piggy, his second disciple.

I admit...I got mixed opinions. Hollywood. But hey, maybe they can get other names like Tony Jaa

Wait didn't both of them retire from doing martial arts film. And Jet just recently for that matter. I don't think this is real. Probably just a fan wish or rumor. Has anything been confirmed legitimately? Though it would be hard to make a great movie with these two as their styles of movies are completely different except for hte great martial arts.

Neither of them retired. Jet even said himself in one(maybe two) interviews that Fearless wasn't his last movie and that he's been trying to do the movie with Jackie. Jackie is now working on Rush Hour 3. I saw something on one of those tabloid shows where they were talking to him for a bit about his back injury he got while filming.

Yes and after seeing that movie, I don't think I can see Sammo playing a good guy role again since his such a bad-ass villain. His like a Chinese-Kingpin who knows kung-fu and can go toe-to-toe with Daredevil anyday.

i saw dragon tiger gate at the theaters when i was in HK, the action sequences were top notch but the ending was kinda iffy (u'll know what i mean if u watched it)  my favourite kung fu flicks of all time would have to be once upon a time in china 1 & 2 as well as fearless.  gotta give props to him being so damn good ><
p.s: a bit of useless info, apparently Jet Li is from Shaolin Temple, so all the stuff he does is real (apart from those jumping 20 ft stuff =D)

Yep, Dragon Tiger Gates ending was like that since there is a part being filmed right now as we speak :ONbingo:

Yes this has been confirmed for quite some time now and is a real thing being produced.

I use to love watching old kung fu movie where they'll call out kung fu moves while fighting....for about 10 minutes without music except cheap sound effect like "paw! bish! wham!" something like that,i think its cool.

Here's a fight from Magnificent Butcher. It's Yuen Biao vs. Lam Ching-ying(Using the fan) and Wai Pak vs. Yuen Miu(Using staff with Monkey style). Then Yuen Biao and Wai Pak fight against Lee Hoi-sang. Lam Ching-ying was rockin' shit with the fan(One of my favorite weapons).

!!MARTIAL ARTS MOVIE NEWS!!
I can't remember if my brother said it has started already, but filming for Ong Bak 2 has begun or is about to begin. This one is a period piece taking place in the old days. The film is supposed to feature Muay Thai(Or Muay Boran. I forget which one he said) combined with Khon dance. I remember hearing Tony Jaa say that he wanted to show more of Krabi Krabong. I hope maybe he'll do it in this one too.

I hope this movie doesn't suck ass like Tom Yum Goong.:barf:
