Just installed this forum plugin at Daigong's request if anyone wants to try it.

Tapatalk is a mobile forum app for iPhone / Android and soon to be on Blackberry and Nokia. Tapatalk supports vBulletin (3.x and 4.x) and phpBB forums and forum owner can activate this service for free. Tapatalk supports all the usual forum functions plus full screen image viewing, image upload, caching (less reload), private messaging, all these features are accessible in just a few simple taps.

Just tried out the demo version of the app for Android on my G1. (btw no posting with the demo version)

It's a decent app. Works well and it does its job. But, personally, not a big fan of the UI and wouldn't spend $2.99 for the full version.

I would still rather use my Android browser to go to the forums. Is there a way to get JPHiP forums optimized for mobile?

Nokia version is out but my device isn't supported (E71). Seems pretty cool, though.

Working ok on the iPhone 3G running 3.1.3

But there's some weird coding with thumbnails that redirect to the bigger pictures

It gets the job done and I find it a really effective and easy way to check out a lot of threads that I don't really frequent or even know about. I found out about the Bollywood thread with tapatalk and rediscovered Akihabara and the Entertainment section.

I just downloaded the S60 version for my Nokia 5800...but when I try logging in to this place (either as myself or as a guest) it just stays stuck on a loading screen.

Just bought the app on my iPhone! The free app kept crashing for me but this seems to work just fine^^ Writing this on the iPhone of course!

I like the UI too, finding a lot of threads I haven't seen

Still works great. Got it open right now and the entire board is a snap to navigate and browse. Great for these times in the middle of the night when I don't want to fire up the desktop and be lazy in bed with my Touch.
