If you joined those 2 sentences, it would be "People would know my name because i had the biggest humiliation last night"

haha. But with his performance last night, you'd wonder if he was even on the pitch at all.

Wow i just realised after reading an article that we have the chance to fight against Chelsea on 3 fronts for the Champs league, Premiership and the FA cup. I'm relishing the thought of that yummy :D

First up is tonight's FA Cup semis against Watford. Watford looks destined for the drop and they might give up on the premiership so they might go all out on this match. That's probably the only danger for us. If Man U can just play 1/2 like what they did against Roma, this should be settled easily.

It should be a walkthrough. However, we always seem to do things the hard way when it comes to the FA Cup. I do feel we'll get through to the final, I'm just saying I won't be surprised if it goes to a 2nd leg.

EDIT

Manchester Utd 4 - 1 Watford

Woops. Silly me for thinking there would be a 2nd leg. Again, too easy a performance. Even Richardson scored :o But I was disappointed Fletcher didn't get the penalty. Cleanly taken out and the Watford player didn't even touch the ball, but the referee was too much of a coward to give it. I don't care if you're winning 4-1 or 40-1, a penalty is a penalty. Let's hope Blackburn does us a favour tomorrow and ruins Chelsea's quad hopes. Although I do think a Utd v Chelsea final is the best you can ask for.

Football isn't really my favorite sport but I found it to be very interesting.

So the FA get the Cup final they wanted. United v Chelsea, two of the best clubs in the country, for the cup. It'll be sweet. Also, those extra 30 minutes Chelsea played might do us nicely in the long run :)

Imagine if we play Chelsea in the Champion's league final as well? All three titles could be decided by the two teams in the least week of the season...

Manchester Utd 2 - 0 Sheffield Utd

I feared the worst when Richardson played in defence :s Good performance, not the most thrilling of matches, but the gap is back to 6 points, and tomorrow could be a great match. West Ham need to win and I think, because Fat Frank and Joe Cole will be returning back to a hostile reception at Upton Park, they'll push Chelsea. I personally don't think they will win, but at this stage, I'd be happy with any team getting a draw against Chelsea.

We got the three points, so it's was good for us. Sheffield played in their own half so we just kept possession. Hopefully Evra is okay, I don't Richardson on the pitch in any position. In hindsight, it could have gone a lot worse for us, imagine if Heinze gets sent off for that clean-cut penalty and Rio can't get back for the Everton match (that's our next match right?)

So, good night for us and good luck to West Ham. It's still a bit of a shame to see West Ham, who played such entertaining football last season, became such a mess this time around. Hopefully they pull off something special (like they did against us).

^ It's home to Middlesborough (again?!) on Sat. Might be tough, and I hope Southgate doesn't bear too much of a grudge and hope to do Chelsea any favours. You know what will happen though, any time Ronaldo is tackled the boro players will all be shouting 'Cheat' 'Cheat', and we may have a potential explosive situation.

It's weird actually, because in Sept, I loathed West Ham for signing Tevez and Mascherano from under us. At the time, ther e was speculation that Abramovich was behind it all, and signing for West Ham was seen as potential 'grooming' for the pair to get accustomed to the English game and leave them open for Chelsea to buy them at a discount price. And after the whole Mikel situation, it just made me all the more angry, and I wished the worst against West Ham. And wouldn't you know it, Chelsea may not have been behind it after all, but Tevez is unsettled, Mascherano has barely touched a ball and West Ham are precariously close to being relegated! That's karma for you :P

That's right, it's Boro again (how many times have we played them this season? it seems we play them every second weak), playing Boro away is always difficult, if I remember correctly, our record against them in the league for the past few years isn't great, and especially against Southgate's "9 hackers behind ball strategy". I hope Ronaldo give them a flogging.

I've almost forgotten about the two argentines...I'm very happy with Carrick right now, and glad that we didn't sign Mascherano after all (though too be fair, he was never really given the time to settle, and played on the right wing quite often when he did have a chance to play), has Liverpool signed him up already? I'm quite confused about that.

Tevez would still have been a good signing, he's similar to Saha, fast and finishes well but he is much stronger and his shots are mean.

I still have my doubts about Tevez, if anything he's much too similar to the role that Rooney plays (if we were to sign him), and having Veron and Forlan (and Angel for Villa and Crespo) as previous examples, I'm a bit reserved on the impact of South American strikers in the premiership (though Veron's a midfielder). Saha, when he's not injured, has a huge engine and run selflessly to create space for himself and others (and Smith is proving me wrong and doing a great job doing the same at the moment).

At least Tevez scores.

I hope to see him stay @ the premiership next season with other clubs if west ham unfortunately get relegated.

Why is the media praising Wright-Phillips? He scored 2 goals, woop-de-doo. I'm sure that makes up for spending most of the season as a reserve. And his interview was a load of nonsense too. 'Oh I'm improving, I feel so good etc etc'. Why not have the balls to say 'I made a mistake by joining Chelski for big money to play in the reserves and force me back two years in development'?

Well, obviously he's kissing Mourinho's butt and possibly doing other stuff (and I'm not going to suggest what) to hopefully remain on the first team sheet.

Manchester Utd 1 - 1 Middlesborough

Fuck, fuck, fucking fuck. Not a good enough performance today. 15 attempts on goal, and 1 on target will tell you that. Newcastle better be in the mood tomorrow to give Chelsea a tough game, only so we can look at it as a point gained, rather than 2 points lost.

^ As much as i hoped for Newcastle to cream Chelsea, Chelsea knows that this is the only chance they have to turn the tide and will be as motivated as a kid being offered a lifetime worth of candy stick.

Now we have to travel to stamford bridge and create miracles there.

Newcastle can have a chance though right? Right?....Oh who am I kidding?

According to the tabloids, United are "certain" to sign Berbatov for £20 and possibly using Saha as "bait". We're also apparently interested in Tevez. Seems like there's a new transfer rumour everyday. We're already linked with Hargreaves, Torres, Nani and Huntelaar. Now these 2? Out of the 2 I would say Berbatov would be an amazing signing. He's my favourite non-Utd player this season (and not just because he's doing wonders for my Fantasy Football Team). Although Tevez seems to be doing well lately. Perhaps he'll improve when he's around better players. Also, Real says they still want to sign Ronaldo in the summer. *sigh*

Tonight's the night they announce the footballer of the year, as chosen by Premiership players. The nominees are:

- Christiano Ronaldo
- Paul Scholes
- Ryan Giggs
- Didier Drogba
- Steven Gerrard
- Cesc Fabregas

For me, it has to be for Ronaldo. He shrugged off the abuse hurled at him from fans and media alike after the World Cup because they always need a scapegoat to blame, and answered his critics in the best possible way. Our driving force behind this season, and is the main reason why there's real belief we can win the Treble. Of course Giggs and Scholes have been like new signings for us this season, but Ronaldo has shown great maturity and confidence this season, and has emerged as one of the world's most exciting players.
