So, I've recently started to get into SUPER☆GiRLS (bought all their albums recently), and now they announce Saori is graduating? Crap.

Though it sucks from a fan's perspective, I hope she gets to follow her dreams and has lots of success outside of the idol world. I usually don't buy singles, but I might nab Saori's graduation single when it comes out - I think it sounds pretty good.

The drama is about a young assistant (Erika Sawajiri)
at a top fashion magazine, who must be strong as she moves
towards her goal of a top position in the fashion world,
In a very competitive and sometimes cruel environment.

Lovely Mirei chan cried tears of joy when, at the wrap
up of the show, it was Erika herself who brought the
bouquet of flowers for Mirei, rather than a producer.

Mirei was full of praise for Erika and other cast and crew
who were very kind to her.

I am soooo hoping that footage of today's @JAM EXPO collab between SUPER☆GiRLS and PASSPO☆ ends up online somewhere soon! That version of "Joshiryoku Paradise" was amazing! As was their version of "Shojo Hikou".

Went to the SUPER☆GiRLS live today and Goto Aya announced that she would be graduating from the group and retiring from the entertainment industry at the end of March to "pursue her new dream". She didn't say what it was. At least it isn't until after her birthday so they should have some special event for fans to say goodbye?

In happier news, they debuted the video for "Gira Gira Revolution" and it's pretty cute with their new shiny jackets and they break into 4 groups (cooking, reading, goth loli fashion, and lazing around) for the other scenes in the video where they aren't dancing.

Also, they'll be performing in Hawaii at a Half-Marathon event in April!

Theme of the concert was SUPER☆CASTLE and they were princesses so the songs were grouped by "chapters" of a picture book.

I'm guessing it's education related since she's leaving at the end of March and school entrance begins in April. Otherwise, why would she give up the chance to go to Hawaii and perform? It's not like she couldn't have gone to school and stay in the group though since Rino's in college as far as I know. Not sure about the other members.

Ruka was really crying when Aya announced it!
