Selling a million copies would be fucking monumental. It would be way bigger than Morning Musume selling over a million copies of Love Machine because the economy ain't what it used to be and singles don't generally sell that much nowadays compared to late 90s. Man, if AKB48 really manages to do that, Beginner would become the best selling single of the year in the whole world

While the shipped predictions have been pretty spot on the past few singles, such a massive spike does leave a little room for doubt.
I've always maintained that AKB needed to tie-in their single to a culture pop phenomenon for it to get the magic million.
Never thought that Aki-P would do it the harder way; developing that phenomenon himself.

Somehow I find Keibetsu Shiteita Aijou PV more disturbing. They should have released this one at least on something like "Beginner - Video Game edition PV" DVD and make even more money on it

I really don't get why this PV has to be censored. There was only 1 semi violent scene and that was when Aachan's hand gets hurt in the real world. Everything else was video game violence and it had little heart icons when their characters died, how violent is that

Majisuka Gakuen is WAY more violent and crude than Beginner. Anyways I really enjoyed the PV it was something new and refreshing.
