They were among my favorites along with Louise and Raymee...
I still get so worried that when I come here that it'll say Louise is graduating... I like this group so much because of her.

this is a sad, sad day. we can say that Aria's graduation was about to come sometime, since she is one of the original members but Emiu's got me totally off guard. I was expecting Yukafin's graduation soon, not Emiu...

and once again this group suffer with two graduations at same time. it's Rose-Meena 2.

the only good thing about this is that since the group has plenty of members, they don't really need to promote new members. although losing Aria's beauty calls for a top replacement.

oh and of course...

this shit can't be happening!!!

Yeah, even though I'm not a huge Aria fan, she is definitely one of the key characters in the group.
Alongside Kohime she's def one of the easily recognizable and easy to remember members.

I think Raymee will do fine in filling some of the void with perhaps more new members at a later stage.

Yet another sad event in Afilia's saga.

you mean the Afilia cafe? I think they won't, since they wrote about focusing more in the studies (Emiu) and finding a common job after finishing the university (Aria)...

sucks that I won't be able to see this show since it's in a weekday.

oh and I can't understand why they didn't make a proper announcement in the site, like there's no link at all to this news on it!

if it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't know about their graduations. even the blog has sticky posts about the one-man, the campaign... and nothing about the graduation. I don't follow them daily to see everything that appear.

man, Afilia is so pop now.

hope this helps the group to stay alive and together for some time. don't wanna see other members graduating anytime soon.

on the other hand, what you guys think about this idea that now they'll be holding auditions instead of promoting someone from the cafe? I fear this can backfire since the girl(s) won't have the same chemistry with the members and won't have this past experience of being maids to know how to treat the fans so lovely as them... but of course, at least theoretically they can add someone prettier than what they have in the cafe now... dunno if it's really necessary in this case, since I only went to Ikebukuro till now.

they have lots of pretty girls on their staff or cute enough so i don't get why are they doing this... i wonder why they want to do this because the strongest point for the group so far is the connection with the afilia cafe/restaurant

since I didn`t go to the one-man last week and can`t find any other info on the subject, I dunno if they kept with the plan to do auditions or if they changed mind.

for now, they`re with nine girls. Emiu will graduate from the maid cafe at january 18th and Aria at january 21st.

well let's bump this thread a little.

Afilia will have three shows this month: 19th, 23rd and 24th. after that, they have once again a bus tour during February 8th-9th. another show at February 11th (a Valentine day's special) and...

the one-man tour!!!!

starting from March 22nd in Taiwan, they'll pass through Nagoya, Kita-Kyushu, Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo (Tokyo Dome City Hall at May 17th).

we can start speculating when they will announce the new members now.

hey shura! yesterday I finally managed to see Meiry's new group, that so callled "Clip Clip"

in fact I didn't plan it and didn't even remember she was a member of this. I went to see another group and when the Clip Clip appeared I was like

"what?! Meiry?! I'm too drunk, no way"

their musics didn't interest me and they seriously lack more training regarding the choreography (specially that Maria girl). but at least their MC (of course, carried by Meiry) was funny, I'd say the funniest of the night.

she talked about a new member being introduced in their next show (february 8th). they were performing with three girls, no sign of that Mai girl that appears on their website. I became a little sad that there were just two supporters of the group out there.

well, it was an underground event but other groups had bigger fanbases there (like ten or twelve

)...

from april 4th till april 9th, Raymee will be performing in a stage called "Good Bye Joker", along with a Palet member, a 7cm member and the ex-SKE Mokyu Mokyu. first time she'll appear acting, I'm very anxious. has another Afilia girl acted alone before in some sort of stage?
