言い訳Maybe / Iiwake Maybe (An Excuse, Maybe) was the 13th major single from AKB48, released 26 August, 2009.

It was the first single in which participating members were selected by election.

The guitar driven opening notes are perfect for the fan chants at any live performance. A great upbeat song, with nice guitar lines:
