Chapter 54 “So why are you eating lunch with us again, Kameha?” Risa grumbled, glaring at her friend.
“I told you,” Eri smiled. “This way, people won’t think you disappeared with just Sensei alone. They’ll think the two of us went off to each lunch. And we can also get rid of those rumors about us having a fight. It’s like killing two birds with one stone!”
“I don’t know about birds but a certain turtle might get stoned pretty soon,” Risa growled.
“Sensei, did you hear that?” Eri gasped, pulling herself closer to her history teacher. “Risa-chan just threatened me! That’s not setting a good example as class representative, Iinchou.”
“You wanna see a good example?” Risa yelled. “Well, why don’t I just—”
“Okay, okay, stop right there!” Ai interrupted, chuckling. “Let’s get anymore violent than this, shall we? We’re still in a school environment.”
Risa crossed her arms and leered as Eri relaxed, trying to hold in her laughter. The two friends were up on the roof with their teacher, enjoying the bento Risa had made that morning. As usual, she had made too much so it was enough to fill up three stomachs. But the bean wasn’t pleased to have her friend intrude on her private time with her girlfriend; after all, she rarely got one. However, this was all part of the turtle’s “brilliant” plan to shoot down all the bad rumors going around in the school, and as much as Risa hated to admit it, she had to accept that it was actually a pretty simple yet effective plan.
“Now if both of you are done eating,” Ai continued, “may I suggest that we clean up?”
“Hai!” Eri answered energetically, immediately collecting the utensils and putting them back in its respective cases. The teacher smiled at her student as she closed the empty bento box. Risa just stayed still, pouting.
Rather than the fact that Eri had joined in on their little luncheon, Risa was more upset at the fact that her lover didn’t seem to mind this intrustion at all. Sure, the bean would normally include her friend in such minor yet social gatherings, but this was a rare “couple” time, not “couple-plus-turtle” time. And Risa desired to keep it that way. But Ai, on the other hand, was completely welcoming towards her student who always forgot her homework, and seemed to enjoy her conversation with Eri a lot more. Risa always knew her best friend was quite entertaining but she couldn’t help but be jealous of the fact that Ai seemed to laugh a lot more while talking with Eri rather than with herself.
“And that’s why, Sensei,” Eri yakked on, “I forgot my homework today.”
“You should have your own TV show, Kamei-san,” the teacher smiled, “called ‘100 excuses for forgetting your homework’.”
“I think you should add another zero there and make it 1000,” Eri grinned. “But it’s not a faulty excuse, I swear; I really had it in my bag but somehow, it walked right out of it.”
“Kamei-san omoshiroii desu yo ne~” Ai laughed. “Have people told you that before?”
“I hear I’m interesting pretty often,” the turtle shrugged. “But I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be a good thing or a bad thing.”
“It’s a good thing, coming from me,” the teacher grinned. “And it really balances out Gaki-san here, who is always so mature and serious.”
“Hear that, Risa-chan?” Eri giggled. “You need to loosen up more.”
“I’ll show you how I loosen up my fist, Kameha, if you don’t—”
“And cut!” Ai interrupted again, covering her girlfriend’s mouth. “Watch your language in school, Gaki-san.”
“Geez, you’re so cranky today, Risa-chan,” Eri pouted, standing up. “Well, I’m going to text Reina now. I’ll hide out in the bathroom or something so people will think I’m still with you two. Enjoy the rest of free period!”
The turtle twirled around and skipped back into the building towards the stairs and closed the door behind her. Ai removed her hand from her girlfriend’s mouth to reveal the expression of an unhappy bean. The teacher sighed as she smiled warmly.
“Come here, Gaki-san,” she invited, crossing her legs and opening her arms. “Sit with me.”
“No,” Risa refused, turning her head towards the other side.
“Come on, I wanna hug you,” Ai grinned. “Come here.”
“I said no,” Risa said firmly once more, still quite angry.
“And I said come here anyway!” Ai growled playfully.
She slid forward a little bit just enough to reach her girlfriend and grab her shoulders. She then pulled her back, despite the bean’s protests, and dragged her on to her lap and embraced her. Risa squirmed for a while before giving up, allowing Ai to sigh contently into her neck as she leaned on her shoulder.
“What’s wrong, Gaki-san?” Ai murmured into her lover’s ear. “Why are you in such a bad mood?”
“I’m not in a bad mood,” Risa grumbled, turning head towards the opposite side from where her girlfriend’s voice was coming from.
“Uso,” the older woman accused. “There’s obviously something bothering you. Come on, spill it.”
“… Sensei, you like interesting people, don’t you?” Risa asked.
“Um… sure, I guess,” Ai shrugged. “Doesn’t everybody? I mean, interesting people are… interesting.”
“I guess…” Risa mumbled. “Maybe that’s why everyone likes Eri more than they like me. I’m too uptight.”
“… Really? Is that what this is about?” Ai scoffed, angling her head to see her girlfriend’s face to no avail. “You’re jealous of Kamei-san because you think she’s more interesting than you?”
“Well, you definitely seem more entertained by her,” Risa mumbled again. She didn’t even know why she was saying this anymore; it made her sound like a child. But some part of the bean wanted to be spoiled enough to throw a tantrum to get what she truly wanted when it came to Takahashi-sensei. “And lunch time is supposed to be our time. I know Eri is trying to help but… I rarely get to see you.”
“… First of all, nothing interests me more than you, Gaki-san,” Ai assured, chuckling a little. “Second of all, I’m satisfied with just being able to see you like this and hold you like this; I feel like I’m the luckiest person in the world with such a small thing. So if it means gaining that small bit of fortune, I’d do anything. And that means having someone else joining us on our alone time as well. But if it’ll help you get less jealous over me, maybe we can hang out after school today…?”
“… That’d be nice, Mama’s going to work late today…” Risa mumbled, truly pleased with the idea deep inside. “But I’m not jealous—”
As the bean whipped her head around to properly yell into her teacher’s face, she instead had her lips stolen with a sweet kiss. Ai smiled and let out a small chuckle, sensing her girlfriend’s shock. She kissed her soft lips over and over again and watched Risa’s eyes slowly close in relaxation. She could taste the sweetness of her girlfriend at the tip of her tongue, wandering all around in her mouth. The younger girl let out a soft moan as she eagerly kissed back, finally gaining satisfaction from the craving she had felt all period.
Then, all too soon, Ai backed away a little to properly look into her girlfriend’s eyes, wetted with love and passion. She smiled as she watched Risa’s face wrinkle into a pout again as she refused to give in easily.
“You’ve become a better kisser,” the teacher grinned, taking the student by surprise.
“I was bad before?” Risa asked, alarmed.
“Well, you weren’t the best,” Ai shrugged, recalling the time when they had first kissed in the classroom while declaring their love for each other. “It wasn’t too horrible for a first-timer, though.”
“Oh…” Risa muttered, feeling a little embarassed. This was definitely one of those moments where she felt “behind”.
“But you’re pretty good now,” Ai chuckled. “Maybe you can make me out of breath in return soon.”
“I could probably do that faster if you would let us go further…”
“Mou, Gaki-san…” Ai moaned. “Can we not discuss that matter anymore?”
“Well, why not?” Risa argued back with a smug smile, feeling like she had gained the upper hand now. “We’re a healthy young couple; isn’t this one of those things that we’re supposed to discuss and plan out?”
“Yeah, and we have planned it out,” Ai answered. “You’re going to think this through until your high school graduation, and then we’ll really talk about it.”
“… Sensei, do you love me?” Risa suddenly asked.
“Is that even a valid question?” the teacher laughed.
“Are you… attracted to me?” Risa asked a little more slowly.
“If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t be holding you right this, would I?” Ai asked, confused. “Where are you taking this, Gaki-san?”
Without a word, Risa suddenly twisted her body and got on top of her teacher while facing her this time, straddling her waist. Ai leaned back with a shocked expression until her head hit the fence. But Risa only continued to crane her neck forward until their noses were almost touching.
“Gaki-san, what are you doing?” Ai whispered, starting to panic a little with the sudden change in her girlfriend’s attitude.
“Seeing if you’re attracted to me,” Risa smiled.
The younger girl turned her head a little to plant a kiss on the teacher’s smooth neck, illicitng a gasp from her. She trailed a kiss along the side of Ai’s neck for a while before picking a comfortable place to stop. She then proceeded to suck on that part of her skin, determined to leave a mark. Ai’s mouth opened as she closed her eyes but no audible sound came out. Realizing this, she instead bit down on her lips to keep the silence that way, determined not to give in. But she could not betray her true feelings of excitement from her younger girlfriend suddenly taking charge, and slipped her hand underneath Risa’s shirt from desire to feel her more. The bean gasped softly as she felt Sensei’s cool hands stroke her back, sending pleasurable chills down her spine. So her teacher really did get excited when she took charge like this… she wasn’t really the big and strong one anymore.
But before the bean could try out her newfound ability further, the clear ringing of the school bell, indicating the end of lunch period, rang out throughout the building. Risa stopped and backed away with a huge grin, having no regrets somehow. She could tell that she held the victory this time around, since Ai was holding her hands up in the air where Risa could see them, all the while breathing heavily and and her cheeks burning red.
“That was uncalled for!” Ai yelled, glaring at her girlfriend.
“I don’t know,” Risa smiled smugly. “I kind of happy to see that you are attracted to me, not ony emotionally but physically as well. Your hand up my back is proof.”
“Th-that… was a mistake!” Ai stuttered back, caught off-guard. “I just… stopped thinking for a moment.”
“Maybe you should stop thinking more often,” Risa shrugged, still grinning.
“Ha-ha,” Ai said dryly, dropping her hands to the ground. “You’re a dangerous creature, Niigaki Risa.”
Dangerous, huh? Risa thought to herself.
Maybe, if you’re keen on staying in control… But Sensei’s not all steel and stones either; I’m going to make you want me even more from now on!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
