there's this japanese show that shows ranking of "singers you want the most as your boyfriend/girlfriend"
it was CDTV i think, from what i watched, most of the time the 1st place is yui and akanishi jin
i remember dbsk jejung entered the top 10 somewhere

anybody know what i'm talking about here?
now that the girls have start their japan invasion, so how do the girls do? do they even enter the chart at all?

I've seen them in some silly Japanese polls before but as a group. To be included in the bf/gf poll, I think people need to know them individually first.

Stylist gets points for putting them in striped shirts. everyone knows horizontal stripes makes what you got on top more noticeable

and lovely performance

and gee is still strong on one of the charts mentioned here. if only all editions were counted towards one ranking...

^ Just watched this perf now and I have to say this live has the best camerawork I've ever seen for an SNSD live. It was like every shot was planned and executed perfectly and your brain doesn't feel like it's trying to keep up with what is going on it feels really natural to watch. These Japanese camera dudes are definitely pros at this kind of thing I hope Korea can learn from them.

Gee sold about 66K copies, ranks second in the weekly charts Oricon reports. SNSD is the first foreign (non-Japanese) female group to rank in the top 3 since The Nolans in July 1980. It's the first Asian (ie East Asian, excluding Japan) female group ever to do so.

Second week in the charts sees "Gee" at 3rd place with 23,358 copies sold. The total sold has already reached the amount of 89,561 copies.
This is an amazing second week by Japanese chart standards. "Gee" stayed in the top 3 where a huge drop is the norm. It seems the Japanese really like Shoujo Jidai.

I saw some statement that Gee would be it for Japanese promotions the rest of the year and they might do an album next year.
