Just started Quantum Theory, not sure if I will ever make it through it, but I like challenging bad games

Started Forza 4 to get an achievement in Horizon, but IT DOESN'T WORK

Now I'm playing 2 games I only moderately enjoy and my OCD will make me wanna complete them to 100%

oh and there's an achievement in 4 that makes you play 3....... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I have apparently dedicated 2013 to ALL THE LIFE SIMS. I have both Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) and Fantasy Life (3DS). The adorableness, I can't deal. Bring help.

I got Liberation Maiden (3DS) for Christmas, looking forward to getting more into this. I played through the first stage/level, and it is great fun!

Fortunately Fantasy Life isn't real time. It is very MMO-y, though. But in a good way. I feel like I haven't gotten started, and I've already spent like 4+ hours on it ...

You can choose between tons of various professions ("RAIFU"), follow the main story, do tons of requests for the town people, collect things, make things, craft, explore, action based combat! And the multiplayer is pretty great as well!

I finally got my hands on the first two Phoenix Wright games, thanks to a friend and now I finally get to play these games w/out using an emulator. It feels nice having something to play on my DS.

I love the Phoenix Wright games so there really isn't much to say.

After getting super frustrated with Quantum Theory I put in Lost Odyssey.
It was one of, or at that time (2009ish) even THE REASON that made me choose the xbox360 over the Ps3.
And now I had it lying around and collecting dust for three and a half years until I felt in the mood for playing it

I'm around an hour into it and already needed a tissue *sniff*
I'm expecting great things from you Lost Odyssey! Keep it up! (and keep me tearing up!)
And you Quantum Theory, go and rot in sofrware hell.

Playing both L.A. Noire and Catherine.

About 16 hrs into L.A. Noire and got about 43% completion, mostly on collectables (vehicles, gold reels badges, landmarks, etc.). Not even halfway through the storyline. Currently on my 1st Homicide case.

As for Catherine, on Day 6 in Easy mode. Only 3 more 'days' to go. Even on Easy the later stages are complex and takes some time to figure out.

Still have Heavy Rain to try out. Might start playing next month. Or at the very least by the end of this month.

Surprisingly, Super Stickman Golf on my phone/tablet is taking up a bit of my time. It's just so damn addictive with some nice looking backgrounds that show up nicely on my phone/tablet. And it's free. Can't ask for more than that!

I've been playing (and mostly replaying) The Witcher 2, PlanetSide 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Saints Row The Third...
And I'm about to start Far Cry 3.

Farcry's PC port is actually pretty bad. I had to Google to find a custom SLI profile and set the antialiasing to the nVidia control panel in order to get it working right. It is pretty spectacular with all the details on max though - particularly when driving. It does melt every other game I've tried on max settings though, so at least I know it's not me.

I imagine finding proper SLI profiles for each game is going to be a recurring theme for you with that card. It's like... having to drive slow in a Ferrari. The drivers just haven't caught up to the hardware/content I suppose. You try any benchmarking yet? I think I recall you saying that you got the CPU up to 4.6 ghz stable. IMO, that Noctua cooler you're running is the best non-water cooling solution on the market and most likely competes with small radiator set-ups. Its greatest strength is its greatest weakness though (the size of the damn thing) but I'm glad you fit it in there.

Sorry to ramble about computer stuff in a video game thread. It's kind of a stretch to say that this is all still on topic lol.

Don't have benchmarks yet - still optimizing, but I did play Borderlands 2 (See? On topic!) today and that's running beautifully at max settings with no extra tweaks required.

Yeah, I got bored of Guild Wars around 50~ish - I'll go back to it eventually, but can't spare the bandwidth currently.
