More like Asian version of the video. That rip is from Japanese TV.

But I just saw it on youtube like 5 minutes ago, and watched it 3 times!

The video is GANGSTA. I have no idea why they even bothered making the "cheap j-pop version" for the American release.

The song is like a later half Britney Spears hit with a more hip-hop feel.

But it's great, love that little double beat part in the chorus. And the choreography was tight. Probably some of the best for her I've seen.

It really bums me out they're releasing another version of the video in the US... WTF is wrong with her management? This video is HOT, and she;s not even dressed in any kind of skimpy clothes.

This video proves again why I consider BoA one of my dream girls. She's just too awesome.

Weezy needs to knock Flo-Rida out and steal this track from him if he knew what was good for him.

The video is hot hot hot. Boa looks so cool. I like the song too but it gets repetetive after a while.

Hopefully, this will be the version they play in our local music channel.

I just watched this vid of BoA recording the song in tama-land

Her English is pretty awesome, seems she's already at a comfortable conversational level.

I'm sick of lil wayne and I feel like I'm the only person around me who doesn't like him, but I can see what he can do to get this song out to more people. And he's the only American rapper who's style would really fit the song I think. I really just want this track away from flo-rida, who would lame it up even more from the already lame English lyrics.

I just hope they show the Korean version of the video for her debut in NA. The US version on youtube looks horrible. The Korean version showcase her more as a performer, plus it has somewhat of a storyline compares to just her dancing with a fake background and shots of her glammed up fading in and out. But if I didn't know of her or never heard of her music before, and they showed the US version, I don't think I'd be tempted to buy her CD. *shrugs* Maybe that's just me.

nobody but her already established fans are gonna buy her cd anyways. They need dls and ringtone dls, which is the most popular medium for single music sales in the US. This isn't a full length album. Nobody buys singles anymore.

Since they show both versions of the video on the US site I hope they release both versions on iTunes. I don't think it's that significant that they do have the US version if they do release both because the internet is probably the most popular way for people to watch music videos nowadays anyways. But if they're gonna market the song soley on the US version video, it'll probably only end up with negative effects on her success. The video just plain sucks from the teaser.

But in that respect, the person she collaborates with could play a key role on her popularity, much more than that crappy video. Release a crappy video and collaborate with some one hit wonder rapper doesn't really sound like a winning formula for success. Not saying it'll hurt her but, but it could have made her.

God why? Other than her being pretty hot. There was nothing in that video. But they did put some of the crappiest CGI I've seen in a music video in the past 5 years. That could explain why they couldn't make the rest of the video better.

I really hope there were legal problems in getting the other version to be the US release...

They should remake the video for the US debut. That director sucks!! The singing isn't even in sync with the audio. I can't stand to watch the US version, it just doesn't represent BoA to me. And what's with the ominous music right before the video starts.

Or better yet, they should just make the video with Flo Rida remix and use it as her debut video here. ;P

Am I the only one here that likes the US version of the clip more than the Asian one??
Just seems to me that the asian one is marketed towards young teens (shit blowing up..etc), whereas the US version is marketed towards adults (more sexy)..

As for the song itself, I'm not feeling it.. The chorus is alright, but the way the verses are sung really sux.. Hate that kinda robotic tempo..

I wouldn't say only early teens, it's marketed to teens in general, and isn't that the market they should be selling to? I'm about the same age as BoA and the style of it I think is perfect with her style and image. Some of the effects and stuff are cheezy, but I thought they were hilarious.

I could understand doing sexy, but the vid is just so cheap looking. It's cheezy but trying too hard to be serious and sexy. I think the song needs something more lively in the video. And also the choreography is different, and not as good as the asian version.

That said, I find the asian version hotter. It really makes me wonder what direction they're trying to go with her image in the US.

just saw the full US video, haha oh man...

such a shitty video, like sits said the only thing it had going for it was BoA being fucking hot. it had different choreography than the asian video which was kind of interesting and i liked it. I think if they took the choreography from the US video and mixed it with the choreography from the asian video (cus the asian video's routine was hella short), with it all set in the asian video, it would be perfect.

trance remix is bland.

on a side note, notice that on www.boaamerica.com that they took the "us' verison down. and Asian verison is now the "A" version. So it seems like they are going to use the asian version. and yeah even the most hardcore BoA fans agree that music video was a piece of garbage.

Your view of sexy and what's for adults is weird. Coz I would say it's the absolute opposite. The awful styling and the choreography, not to talk about the embarrassing CG backround at parts of the U.S version is without doubt done poorly and the MV is only playing on the fact that it shows some skin. Youngins love skin. Whereas the Asian version actually is well made, with constancy throughout the whole video. Has great choreography and the pace fits perfectly to the bangin' song, and then there's the waterish part at the end.

The cheapness of the U.S version just makes it extremely unattractive. And the Asian version.. Shit. It doesn't really even have any clear 'sexy' pointers but when a girl moves like that, and goes wet like that. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiieet.

Eat You Up really doesn't work that well in a live house setting, well not as well as her other songs anyway.
Was a great mini concert though, and I guess pretty much summarized her singing career as well as it could in a 20 minute concert. The first time I ever saw a BoA concert and her interaction with the fans is great, and her female fans are cute the way they talk to her.

She was hot, but the parachute pants and ski boots had to go... especially during Loose Your Mind. Didn't work with the choreography.

Interesting that she sang "Listen to Your Heart" cause that's actually the song that introduced me to her when I was just getting into Jpop.

And it sucks for the guitarist when his string broke during the Merikuri guitar solo.
