Kiritani Mirei to play the heroine in new movie "Team Batista Final - Kerberos no Shouzou"

Kiritani Mirei will be taking the role of the heroine in the new movie "Team Batista Final - Kerberos no Shouzou" which stars Ito Atsushi and Nakamura Toru. She plays the role of a medical journalist Betsumiya Yoko who Taguchi Kohei (Ito) holds a torch for and clashes with Shiratori Keisuke (Nakamura) because their values clash with each other. While trying to do research on the "Kokusai Ai Centre Project" which is the focus of the story, she provides information to Taguchi and Shiratori.

Although Kiritani is currently one of the newcasters for NEWS ZERO's Tuesday edition and has experience doing field research, this is the first time she is playing a medical journalist so there are many difficult terms which she finds it hard to memorise since they are not commonly used. Her co-stars Ito and Nakamura were also very encouraging and full of praise of her performance.

The movie will be shown in cinemas from 29 March 2014.
