I don't even get to Seattle until almost noon, then I have to get all settled in. and of course I didn't pre-reg... so I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get to the first autograph session.

So I arrived in Seattle around 10 am Pacific Time on Thursday. I went to the Baggage Claim area to get my stuff and then I got lost, waiting in the area I thought my shuttle was supposed to pick me up. I was in the SCHEDULED AIRPORTER area, when I was supposed to be in the Parking Garage the street. I noticed a lot of people arriving who seemed to be guests for Sakura Con (Entourage, tons of baggage, flu masks, etc), but I paid no mind.

As I sat to get my computer started, one of the girls across from me caught my eye, as she stood up, wearing a flu mask. I did a couple of glances, so I didn't have to stare for too long, as the feeling of familiarity kept rising in me. At first I was like "Could it be?" but then I was like "Maybe not, her skin's darker isn't it?" Then, the other girl stood up, with a flu mask, and she had long black hair. She was very tall, much like the first girl, and I was like "Wait a minute...no way..."

The deal sealer was when the third girl stood up: she was the tallest of them all, perhaps a head taller than the two. And then I was like:

"Holy crap...this is Berryz Koubou"

I didn't, couldn't do much, since I didn't want to cause a scene or something of that matter. Who would've thought, I was in the same lobby area as Berryz Koubou for about 5 minutes. It was great. Also, I saw Exist Trace as well I believe.

In the hotel. Got my badge in less than 10 minutes a little while ago. Will be going to the convention center again in about two hours. Just relaxing in the hotel room right now.

Opening ceremony just ended.
Berryz did appear for a short introduction.
The nicovideo stream was shitty (esp. audio-wise)

Another awesome momochi moment was when they were laughing a lot

too bad the audio was all bad so I didn't catch the reason for it...

I hope someone recorded it and cuts the berryz parts out of the cosplay stuff....

Guest reception dinner is OK. Did not win draw to meet Berryz after concert. Exist Trace draw took too long because no one wanted prize. Xd

I have pictures from today's events! My what a day it's been, but I'll save that for a later report.

First we had a Q&A session with Berryz, with a short photo session at the beginning. Here are some pics from that:

Of course with a decided bent toward MiyaSaki at the end there considering my well, personal interests.

And actually right now I'm sitting at the guest reception on the Red Lion's wifi, and Berryz did make a very brief appearance here... with another short photo session! Some of the others here got some video of the girls entering since our table was (!) right next to the elevator they came up on, but here are a couple of my best pictures...

A little taste from Sakuracon here in beautiful Seattle. ^^

Oh, and Miya has stared at me at least 5 times with smiles and waves at time too, and I successfully gave her earrings.
