Hey, for those of you thinking of or worried about hotel/accommodations for Seattle, especially concerning price, and are not overly concerned about privacy or want to perhaps just party more, you might want to check out hostels in the area. For example, this Hi-Seattle Hostel is located in the International District in downtown (so fairly convenient to the convention center - only a short free train ride away?) and is listed as cheap as about $30 a night. Hostels could also be great to meet folks from other countries as they're big for international travelers.

Another one, this Green Tortoise Hotel (could be great for Eri fans!), is actually just a few blocks away from the convention center! And it looks to be about $35 a night.

I found this through www.studentuniverse.com (which you can use if you're a student), but you can find it and others like it through other websites as well.

It'd be great if we could get a few (poorer) hipsters at one of these hostels for some partying!

Too close and too hectic and too expensive to do both. So unless I find super cheap airfare to Seattle, I'm pretty much out of the picture.

We were probably gonna go out and get drunk during that weekend, but now that this has come up...well, you know

It all depends on whether or not I can find decent accommodations though, since I've never traveled by myself/am a poor student.
Any hipster girls up for hotel room sharing? I don't want to stay in a hostel and the stranger you almost know is better than the stranger you don't know at all.
Plus I have no sense of direction so I'd be totally down with having some less clueless hipsters show me the way.

Since they're going to Seattle (America) maybe it should include something in particular about Seattle, Washington or America as a whole so when they look at it in Japan it'll remind them of that event (like a souvenir)
but as non American and person not being able to attend something to show them there is also support for them outside America would also be nice. I've been thinking about a world map with dots on countries with berryz fans but 1. there aren't that many here anymore and 2. there are basically fans all over the world but not everyone is member here so it would be a misleading image even if we had a lot fans here. Thus it's not really a good idea I guess.

I remember shirenu had the idea (it was her's right?) that everyone takes of photo of the place they live at and put them all together originally for when Buono! was supposed to come to Sweden. It's kind of problematic like the world map but maybe easier to fill space with (and I assume we could also get some non-die-hard berryz fans to contribute)

As for the messages, I think they should be character limited like sms/twitter per person to make it easier for everyone (especially if we have someone who translates them).
Maybe we could put the messages in some kind of book where every Berryz member has a themed page... like momo's is kindergarten and/or peach themed, risako's witches, chii sunflowerish, miya fashion etc.
Alternatively to reduce work or if there aren't enough messages for every member (even if everyone is forced to make one for every member) a group page would work too I guess, like with a witch on it, peach, ... to make it look nice.

I'll try to come up with something better but I doubt it'll happen

I could write a script/page where people can post their message for berryz at to keep track of them more easily (and automatically enforce the character limit if we agree on one). But we can also do that in a separate thread or via PM to a person who collects them. If we want a script someone just needs to tell me.

Indeed shirenu talked about the postcard thing, which we used in the scrapbook for MoMusu. I talked to wota friend from the H!P Taiwan site and she cool with some possible translations so the character limit is a good idea.

Yeah. Not sure (/me gently boots people attending in the bum to reply to the thread lol) about the map....more of a rep of fans here, and we're really diverse as it is.

Are there sports fans in Berryz? coffee fans? I can only think of Ichiro and Starbucks gifts atm lol

I promised myself I'd not go to another Arts & Crafts store, but these World Tours keep me coming back

How about just a general pic/banner like how I made tenkei get a frame for Yossi...hmm.

@DAi, I am writing them a lettter and am going to be asking for a translater shortly.
A lady I work with is into stampind,scrapbooking and all that crap, she helped me with my Morning Musume cards for AX. I'm just not sure how to set up card designs for Berryz.(used Love Machine motive for MM)
