OK!

I just downloaded today's Oha Star, and right after Saki's goodbye VTR, it DOES say a new oha girl is joining tomorrow!

That screenshot I posted above is legit, but I didn't notice before that there's still a sticker on it that's covering some info.
Here's a screenshot I just made that shows what it is.

What it says is "Member of that famous group!!"
The hair length and shape of her sillouette match too!
It's even in her member color!

That seals it! Eripon is the newest member of Oha Girl Maple!

While it sucks ass that Eripon's becoming an Oha Girl comes due to the departure of Sakichy...still gotta remember that the latter was something that was beyond anyone's (especially Eripon's) control, and as such the 2 events shouldn't be thought of as being linked (i.e. one having caused the other to happen).

...

Wait, did that make sense? It's like, 2:15AM for me, and I wanted to post about this in a somewhat more profound manner other than just "YAY ERIPON!"

...

For the record, I am still "YAY ERIPON!" about this.

Since Eripon is using the same hair streaks and bear ears as Sakichy did, I'm thinking maybe she was told to cut her hair SPECIFICALLY to become Saki's replacement.
Now they don't have to change the character art for the Oha-Girl batons:

If that's true, then it really WAS a while back that Sakichy's graduation was decided.
