I don't think they arrive this week tho cos I'm pretty sure the package gets stuck at customs..

I waited and waited for the yen to drop... it kept rising. Today was slightly better than last week, but in the end it doesn't matter because Paypal uses their own evil exchange rates

It's almost criminal. Seriously, if you consider EVERY payment on eBay is done through Paypal and Paypal strikes up a couple of cents extra through exchange rate only (not even including their fees), they are making MILLIONS a day. Genius, in its own way, yet evil.

My package have been at customs since Dec 2nd.... I was filling the form to get it outta there, but they didn't have a friggin' code for a calendar ~_~ ~~I need to make a call about it, but I can't do that before Thursday. *sigh* THIS IS TORTURE!~~

edit: Managed to make the call today, so hopefully the package arrives tomorrow or Friday

I got my calendars todaaaay!

Takamina's Tokyo Date calendar is ridiculously adorable. I mean... seriously cute.
The Tokyo Date calendars are about the size of standard US calendars, btw. And they can be hung on the wall or put up on a stand thing.

The Box calendar is cute, too. I like the pics a bit better this year, I think. I love the Takamina x Sae page, which I have dubbed the bromance page.

It's here!! Funny enough, this is actually the first ever AKB48 related calendar I bought

After months of deciding I decided against Rena's for the reasons posted earlier. I opted for the Cheer up! Box instead:

Winner and others already took fancy pictures of the box' contents, but I'll show you what I did.

After careful considering I decided to take the calendar apart. That's a big deal for me

The calendar is relatively small and I couldn't think of a good way to hang it.
The size actually worked out very nicely for some poster strips I had lying around, so I did this:

Really nice mix between cute and sexy. I am loving the Mayu/Acchan page.
Actually, I prefer it over the sexy kitty ear one, so I hang it closer to my face. lol
Btw, the paper and print quality is insanely good. Almost plastic-like.

And I took my favorite page and clearfile and framed it.
The best thing is, I don't even feel I 'betrayed' Rena by getting this box instead, because she's in it (even a bikini shot

) and I can show her off better like this

The other clearfiles are AWESOME. I'm not sure what to do with them, but they are really cool.
The Tomochin one actually has her full body shot, the pic we see in the preview is only half of what you get.

I tried hanging the poster, but since it's folded it doesn't look that good in the poster strips I use. I decided to leave it in the box and look at it occasionally, like I do with all my folded posters. The fan's pretty nice and I think I'll use some of those stickers on my guitars

Best. Purchase. Ever.
